HTC EVO View ESN Memory Location - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

Hey everyone,
I previously had the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 (first generation on verizon) I know purchased one of these HTC EVO Views online for $239. I want to get it on my verizon service. Can anyone tell me the ESN Locations on the HTC evo View tablet. I programmed my HTC EVO a year ago and it had like 13 to 14 memory location where the ESN was located. Is the View Tablet the same. Can anyone point me in the right directtion.

I don't think you can use Sprint products on VZW, they can't be 'unlocked' in the sense like GSM phones. Though I've heard you can flash the view to be used on Boost Mobile, but not VZW.

Sprint clean ESN GSM works in europe?

I'm from italy and currently interested in buying the said cell, while trying to find a good price for the gsm version of the evo3d i stumbled across some actions pretending to sell a gsm/sprint version. The version is labled as "sprint clean esn. Finding it a bit weird id really love to know if the cell is actually going to work for me in italy of if it's just a scam.
According to the seller of the action (which i can't link having <8 posts) the specifics are :

I've also found on the italian ebay actuion for the same cell, according to the auctioner :
"It's a sprint clean esn, without contract you can put any sim. It doesnt have locks nor anything else" He also pretends the cell is actually working from him.
So the big question is : are those cells going to work in italy or it's just a scam?
It may not be a scam, just a stupid or uninformed person. Sprint is CDMA not GSM and does not use sim cards. You must get a GSM version.
Yeah that's pretty much I thought, however seeing so many auction pretending the cell to be gsm :
NEW CLEAN ESN HTC EVO 3D Sprint APX515CKT 8GB FREE CHAR | eBay
HTC EVO 3D Nuovo, garanzia 24 mesi - ULTIMO STOCK | eBay
I really wanted to ask to make sure.
Thanks for saving me from the scam!

[Q] Using the Jetstream outside the US

Hi
So I'm interested in buying the jetstream, but I have some questions, especially for people living outside the US.
I understand I will have to buy a code to undo the sim lock, and I will have to find a friend with a US social security number, and someone who can post the Jetstream onto me from the states.
My questions are:
I know that the UK does not have LTE yet, but will the jetstream work through 3g networks in the UK?
Will the warranty apply outside the US? How long is the warranty for?
Also, I know this has probably been asked before, but has anyone heard about a UK release?
Some more general questions:
Did anyone buy the gel case from AT&T? is it any good?
Do you have to add the pen to basket to get the reduction or does it come bundled?
Has anybody had any joy with writing recognition overlay apps?
Thanks a lot
Hi,
no problems using the HTC Jetstream outside of the US, i use it in the middle east over 3G networks.
get one to yourself, unlock it from AT&T to use any SIM and enjoy.
Mine came without the pen, i will get one for myself.
So far, its an amazing tablet, superb screen respond and amazing resultion of true colors.
got mine over ebay.

Hi Everyone,
I'm dying to get one and I've searched ebay inside out with no positive results so far. Could someone please provide me with some links on where this tablet can be purchased?
Thanks in advance

Do you have any idea what the status of the AT&T warranty is if the item is damaged outside the states?
cheers
works like a charm
Can confirm it works perfectly well once unlocked.....posting from Saudi on my jetstream right now and just last week all 3 networks here upgraded to provide 4G LTE I also bought the HTC gel case from AT&T it fits like a glove as it should as it is made by HTC and feels great, however it is very RED, but with nothing else out there right now so bit the bullet and purchased.
When I ordered online pen was automatically in basket.
In a recent interview with an HTC bigwig he stated the jetstream would not be introduced in Europe due to AT&T exclusive Plus lack of LTE services in Europe but HTC were working on other tablets for the region.

Hi, I tried to order it myself, but in AT&T webstore after step 1 they impose you a monthly plan before checkout.
Since I'm outside US I'd like it to come without SIM card, how did you do?
If I remove dataplan it doesn't allow me to proceed.
Thanks for sharing

[Q] Galaxy Nexus Droid Razr HTC Raider

Hiya!
I currently have a unlocked Desire Z on telus and I've decided to switch to rogers and get a new phone, but I cant decide which of the following to get:
Galaxy Nexus
Droid Razr
HTC Raider
I cant decide between these for the following reasons. Galaxy nexus has the biggest screen and Android 4.0, Droid Razr looks the best IMO and I like the lap-dock functionality, and the HTC Raider is the only one out of the 3 that has LTE (well they all do, but in Canada the Droid Razr cant use our LTE and rogers will not be getting the LTE Galaxy nexus)
I need a phone with a big screen for the keyboard and web browsing, I spend most of my browsing time on Data and i rarley use wifi (I have a good data plan and will get the same one on rogers) I need a phone that will be tough as I drop my phone alot despite my best intentions. I also need a phone that I can root, overclock, and flash custom roms and/or kernels (keep in mind the Canadian droid razr will have an option to unlock the bootloader). The phone needs to last me through a school day (8:30-4:00)
So in your opinion, which one should I get?
Choosing between HTC Raider, Motorola RAZR and Samsung Nexus Prime
Hi,
I don't have any experience with the Raider or Nexus Prime, but very recently bought a RAZR. Within the 3.5 weeks I've had it, I've had to exchange it DOA twice (mostly WiFi issues, but also seems - in spite of being a gorgeous phone externally - to be rather poor quality build-wise, and possibly some design/engineering issues ), and am switching tomorrow to the Raider (which has quite good reviews overall).
FWIW: I can't confirm this, but have seen notes on Rogers getting the Nexus Prime sometime early 2012.

Opinions only, Sprint GN vs. GS3, Evo4gLTE and LG Optimus G

I have 4 things I need, 4g internet, good camera, 4.5 inch screen or larger and sms text to speech with no human interaction. I know the last one I can't get on Android so have written it off but the Evo 4g LTE, Samsung Galaxy S3 and the LG Optimus G have the last 3.
Now the issue is I want Pure Google Android and only the Nexus has it on Sprint so I am looking at the Google Nexus but I need to know how the cpu and camera are compared to the others. I have heard that the Galaxy Nexus is actually on the slow side, that even the Samsung Galaxy Epic 4g Touch is faster and has a better camera, and I want some opinion. I have read so much and I am just more confused.
I love the specs of the LG Optimus G because I am at least good for a year when it comes to spec but it only has Google Ice Cream Sandwich and because of it is an LG I feel that development will be slow. I owned the Samsung Galaxy s3 for 4 days and really didn't like it. If I could I would buy the Nexus 4 but alas it doesn't work on Sprint.
I really appreciate any opinion and that is all I am asking for here. This is going on my second line so I can purchase a Windows Phone 8 device when Sprint launches them this summer.

[Q] FreedomPop?

Is it worth buying a used Galaxy S2 for $75 to use for FreedomPop?
I've heard mixed reviews on their service. This is one of the 3 phones that they are currently accepting. (The others are the HTC EVO 4G and the HTC EVO Design 4G).
From a customization point of view, I'd choose the S2 over the HTCs......
Purely because the HTCs have locked boot loaders that make even just rooting them a pain in the a**........
This might be my S2, or it might be my W...but it's definitely CM
