Im just wondering if any one has seen this problem before.. I rooted and flashed my rezound to the de-sensed ICS rom, and since then I cant get it to vibrate when i get texts. It vibrates for calls but not texts. I went through the thread related for that rom and there is no info on this.
Just wondering if this happened to anyone even if your on another rom or if you know anyways to fix it. I would post this in the thread for that rom but I dont have 10 posts yet, even though I've been on here for awhile i lost my password and dont remember the email it was under so I have to start over lol.
Any help would be great..thanks
Go to notification settings and turn vibrate on.
I checked this and i have everything set to vibrate. This is really weird. I might just try to re-flash it and see if it works.

You need to go to the SMS app and turn vibrate on in settings. Its turned off for some reason. Its set to never vibrate.

Hey everyone, I googled this and searched xda and I can't find anything so I thought I would just ask.
I am running a pre-rooted stock rom with the update. Completely stock except for root. When the screen has been off for a few minutes it will autorotate to landscape a second after I unlock it. This happens even when the phone is completely still, and vertical. I am lost as to why this is, as it does it about 90% of the time. Locking the phone and then immediately unlocking it doesn't recreate the problem, the screen has to be off for about 3-5 minutes. It is irritating. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I think this is a bug in sense 3.0 and sense 3.5 because i noticed the issue in all custom sense roms including virtuous affinity and bliss ports on my glacier.

go to settings, display, and uncheck autorotate on...hold the power button and press restart, do not turn off and on, just press restart...the go back and check autorotate on again...see if that helps.
That seems to have helped. Tried to recreate the issue a few times since trying the fix above, and it isn't doing it. Still early though. I'll post again if it persists. Thanks for the help

Okay, so the problem it's still there. I had to go to work shortly after my last post and just got home and around to posting about it. I don't seem to recall having this issue with the stock rom without the ota update. Guess I'll just have to wait for a good rom to flash, and how that the problem is gone. Thanks for the tip though.

there are always going to be some bugs with roms, even with the cyanogen mod rom, which is the biggest of them all there are bugs...even with oem stock roms there are bugs...all you can do is try another one, or contact the developer
apparently you need ten posts. and i am not cool enough. i just wanted to ask how to stop cm7 from what i have nothing else to call than bootlooping when i connect it to my computer. it loops the droid arrow after connecting to my computer. then i battery pull and my theme is changed on the screen , but not changed in theme changer . just wondering how to stop this.
Idk what would be wrong, but if you reply to this you'll be one post closer to asking in the cm7 thread which youll have better luck of getting a solution there

I think what he/she was asking is are you plugging it into the computer and then turning the phone on when this happens?
not at all. that would make no sense lol
Okay so today, for some strange reason my phone has decided to give me a fairly thick, red outline/boarder around my screen every time I touch it. It also flashes up randomly without touching the screen. It's starting to get on my nerves now.
Any ideas on how to fix please?

What rom are you running? Any of the ICS leaks or official samsung roms?
Could be one of the developer options, There was an option I found which flashes the screen and shows touch and screen update data. Check under there. Settings--> developer options.
Other than that it could be a faulty connection to the screen.

XXLPH rooted.
& Okay thanks, I'll take a look at that. In development what would it come under?
& I doubt its a faulty connection, but I guess it's worth looking in to.
Thanks!

Yeah ics roms have that. It is in the developer options but I can't remember which option it was. Maybe Google will help. Just remember to reboot for it to take effect I think.

What it sounds like it the dev option mentioned in the title got turned on, possibly while you were checking things out. Dont know what it means but I actually turned mine on just to check it. It is definitely in the developer options. Hope this helps

sounds like your snooze got infected...haha. which infected rom? sence 3.0 or 3.5. are you using the the most recent STABLE version? or the nightlies? when all else fails: sync-redownload-fresh full wipe-and reflash
Hi, I just rooted and unlocked my note 2 yesterday using Jedi's XV11 rom. I also modded the sounds when the s-pen is attached/detached. I love it but I need to know is there anyway possible to have the sounds still active even while the rest of the phone is on vibrate. Like, can I go into root explorer and tweak something so this sound is permanently on? I work during most of my day and cannot have my ringer on but would love to be able to still have the s-pen sound functionality on vibrate. any help is greatly appreciate and I hope I posted this in the correct forum.
anybody????
You have to give it longer then an hour. As to your question I don't think it can be done
