3600 mAH!!!! I don't think that's possible without making the battery bigger, if it is, it might be worth it actually!!! It's more than double the capacity of our battery.
It comes with a battery door so I'm guessing it's bigger.
Look at the Mytouch 4g slide extended 3600mAh battery on there site, it has a video. It comes with a different back plate. So yes it is bigger!

Yes, for 3600 there is a battery door. For 1950 - no need, it fits the original OEM socket.
Question on this.
I love my phone but the battery life is woeful (I already broke-it in and I did get about 3 more hours than the first few days, but I still have to charge the phone at nights and sometime during the afternoon, and at this point I know that all the charging will eventually kill my battery).
I've been reading about Mugen batteries and it seem's it's the best stuff around. I don't mind paying 100 for a battery, but it has to work right, and I was reading that the guys at Sensation forums were having connectivity problems with the larger battery door.
I noticed the Amaze also has battery door antennas (what are they for, nfc?), so I'm weary about whether the new battery door would cause the same problem on our phone.
Anybody has any experience with the 3600?
Picked up the 3600 mah battery and cover. Cover is cheezy plastic, looks okish, but it already has a few slight worn spots. Still fits in my pocket, holds well, doesnt look like a brick. Battery life is fantastic. I had a 3K for my HTC Dream, that one lasted a month on wifi. Its a little miui desktop toy now.
With the Amaze, I ran it all day, music, updates, flashing roms, playing videos. It was at 60% next morning. I had to keep playing youtube videos for an hour at 5% to kill it off so I could totally drain it before bed. On this lazy Sunday, unplugged at 9am, couple calls and texts, almost 9pm, its at 89%.
So happy. I had to plug it in at night or it would be dead, but it sits Plugged at work most of the day. Now that's the only charging I need to do.
Only downside, speaker cant be muted with your finger over it. Small enough gap, when ringer goes off, cant mute it in meetings. Small trade off.
I finally have one of these, the 3600 batteries, love it highly recommend. it lasts more then 12 hrs of heavy use perfect for the long shifts I pull.
I am using the 1950 mAh. So far it seems to be about the same as my OEM battery, but better than the replacement brands I've tried.
help
I am on the security nd charge of the 3600mah map battery . I still feel the battery is very very weak. The battery is at 63% after 8 hours without heavily usage. The screen time on is only at 1 hours.s my battery bad or I have to wait for more time. Screen brightness is at 50%, sync is off. Only wifi on. When I turn on 4git drops 1% every minute.
Can someone who bought the Mugen 3600 battery post pics so we can see how much bigger the phone is with the back case?? Thanks.

For everyone with Batterylife complaints here are 3 options for you. NEW Updated Post.
Battery Adaptor Pro:
http://www.boxwave.com/products/batteryadapter/index.htm
This is by far the best option in my opinion for battery life problems. This little device about the size of the hermes, a little wider and very sleek / feels good in your hands. Its only $22.50 and worth every penny! What the device does is take AA batteries (4) and recharge your device via the USB cable. You can use the phone while its recharging too! What makes this device even more great is that is uses batteries, not its own rechargable battery, so on a long flights or long road trips or whatever the case may be, all you have to do is stock up on AA's and your good to go! It also comes with a flash light, VERY BRIGHT LED's for dark situations, although random, it comes in handy alot in dark situations trying to find your way to something or trying to hook the USB cable in. It recharges the Hermes about 6 times in my personal expirience with Duracell batteries. But get this! The best thing that makes this device worth every penny is that its compatible with ANYTHING that supports USB charging. This includes all other phones, Ipods, Personal video players, MP3 Players, Cameras you name it! Its great for keeping all your devices with battery power on any trip you go on especially if you travel alot. I no longer have to worry about battery life anymore with this thing. Its very small and easily can go in a pocket or a pouch in your backpack. No longer do you have to suffer with BIG bulky batteries to keep you going through the day/days. I highly recommend this unit and give it a 10/10!
You can Get an Extended battery 3000MAH from:
http://www.lionbattery.com/description.php?noproduit=477
Although very bulky the battery life boost is amazing. My friend has this phone (I don't have one yet, i just sold my 8125) and I have indeed tested it for myself. The battery will last you 10 hours before it hits 80% battery life. With these ten hours I was able to web browse, text message, use agile messanger, playing Doom 3D, Warcraft II, Sim City, Play music at 45% volume. at 60% batterylife I it had been over 25 hours already. With you constantly using 3G, push email and such Id probably say you can get a minimum of 35 hours of battery life with this battery. If you are not so hardcore You probably will get over 50 hours of battery life with this battery. The only cons I have to this battery are the size. its a great investment if you are one of those people always going on bussiness trips and such. You can charge both your stock battery and This battery and use the stock until it runs out then pull out the heavy duty. I highly recommend this battery. This battery comes with a cover for the 8525 too. 9/10
For all those who can't stand the size of this battery there is hope for you.
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=333
The stock battery for the 8525 is 1350 mAh, and this one is 1500 mAh, this battery won't improve your battery situations much at all but it is cheaper than the option of buying one from HTC or cingular. You can get both the stock battery and this one and have them both charged to last you however long you need. Although a tight fit it still fits in the battery comparment and works with the 8525. 8/10
I hope this helps some of your frustrations with battery life with this phone.
-SonicCrackers
Pity about the thickness, but the sheer capacity makes one think twice... More than double the normal mah...
I just ordered the 3000mAh battery from lion's website - I'm getting low battery warnings towards the end of the day. I'll let you know how it works out!
lemme know how it is
Well, it's supposed to arrive today - I can't wait! My phone died before I made it home yesterday - very irritating!
Has anyone tried one of those 1500mh batteries? I don;'t want the extended one because my brodit mount will become useless and and just suxs. Anyone have an opinion?
http://www.ipods99.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=HTCHERMSL&click=35
Yey!
Well, I got my Lion 300mAh battery and I have to say I'm pleased overall! I'm still breaking it in but so far it has lasted a complete day with Wi-Fi on and a hour worth of movie watching. It came very nicely packaged from the company - it also has a 6 month warranty according to the paperwork. The battery is approx. twice as big as the OEM battery. My biggest complaint is the battery door doesn't fit quite as snug as the original... near the camera it has a chamfered edge instead of the rounded edge on the OEM door. Also, there is slightly more clearance to the left and right than the other door. After a week when the battery is broke in, I'll give a proper update on battery life (Lion recommends 5 complete charge/discharge cycles for maximum capacity). I have several pictures of it, but I can't figure out how to post them here ><
Im very glad the battery worked out for you lacroixdp . Yeah the non HTC made battery covers wont fit on the battery as much as it should but enough to get the job done. I'm glad the battery last as long as it does expecially with all that Wifi usage.
4 u slimsaturn the 1500 battery, there is no difference to be seen, its just a cheaper alternative to having 2 batteries to switch between on those long bussiness trips, for improving battery life however, u will not see a difference.
There was some talk of a 2000mAh battery for the hermes that wsa the size of the original one. I think it was supposed to be from lion battery as well. Anyone have any news on this?
Well after a few days following their recommendation on the complete charge/discharge cycle, I can safely say it is an excellent battery! At the end of work, I'm at 80% charge still. With the same usage before, it was always between 30 and 20 giving me low battery warnings. I DEFINITELY recommend the 3000!
I got one off ebay 3400MAH I hope its better or good.
I thought about that one but decided to stick with lionbattery.com and Mugen since they have a solid reputation for batteries. Plus I have a 6 month warranty to use if I ever need to.

I've had the 1500 battery for about a week. I cannot tell any difference between this one and the stock batter but for the fact that I have to use scotch tape to keep the back on. I used the Lion battery on my i730, but hated the size. I am ready to deal with the size due to the fact that I cannot deal with the shortness of battery life.

I Second the good rating of the 3000mAh Mugen Power Battery.
I bought it for my HTC TyTN from the Netherlands and alhough it bulges to double the size of the standard battery from the back plate - I like it though; gives me better grip on the slippery phone! - it gives me looong life compared to the standard issue (1350 mAh).
As noted earlier, along the sides the extended back plate does not fit 100% snugly, with a (very) minute gap on both sides. But not enough for the back plate to come loose though. Plus the edges (the rubber stopper at back - the antennae socket) is not smoothly cambered. Nothing a nail file couldn't fix though.
Great battery Mugen Power!
Haha that's even better I emailed in about the door and 15 minutes later I got a reply and a tracking number for a new door - excellent service! You've definitely earned a repeat customer! Are you coming out with an extended battery for the Treo 750 soon?

Hi,
I have about 3 months with my TyTN and I can see that battery life has been reduced. Battery duration is decreased and charge time I guess that is reduced too. Is there a known battery calibration problem or this is a normal behaviour for a 3 months old battery???
Regards,
Taguapire.
Because I am on holiday I had a chance to do a controlled test of the battery. I charged the standard battery, turned on the phone and made one call a day to just make sure its still working. I also forced the band into gsm only. My battery lasted 7 days from full to flat. I then did the same thing being only in umts and I got 3 days only. The test is controlled because I did not physically move the device at all in that time, so signal strength and tower searching would be kept constant.
I think that is pretty clear the 3g is the killer. The dopod 838 pro lasted longer than my magician would have under the same sircumstances.
Has anyone tried this for the atrix? It seems like to good of a deal to pass up for the price. However I want to be able to see how much power I actually have left and have seen mixed reviews on other sites.
All I have to say is.. that thing is HUGE!!!

I've had one about 2 days now. Read reports saying to go full discharge/ full charge about 4-5 cycles to realize full potential. I've ran it down once fully and down to about 30% a few times but with my work schedule/activities I dont like to let it get too low for fear of having to be leashed to a wall plug or charger for awhile. BUT i can say that the life seems to be getting better and as for the actual size of it.. seems big at first and in pix but i'm fully used to it now and I'm comfortable with it. Havent checked the actual stats on how long since unplugged in comparison to the stock, but I'd say for the price it was worth it..
At $30 I'm thinking about it. How much thicker did this make your phone rickriego?
I am guessing that this doesn't work well if you use the fingerprint reader?
Might be able to get used to the added dimensions, but how about weight? Was that pretty noticeable?

it fake real mA 2200 - 2400
discharge 1-1.5 days

I have had a 3200 mAh battery from Seidio for about 3 months. I have all my radios blazing throughout the day. I listen to music over the cell network while in my car for a 1 hour commute. I leave my GPS on all the time. I use Bluetooth in my car. In short I have all the features of my Atrix that I paid for. I get 16 hours on a charge on a hard day. I plug it into the charger at bed-time.
The battery shown above may well be phoney. My Seidio is the real deal. I have no financial interest in Seido.
I am on stock OTA GB from AT&T. My only complaint is that by early afternoon my Atrix begins to complain (falsely) that my battery is depleted. I've haven't researched the problem fully yet, but there is a battery daemon (battd) that I think I can kill and end that silliness.
I have tried all manner of battery calibration juju to no good end, I have posted about it in other threads with lots of advice and no resolution. Let's not hijack the OP's thread.

Seems same brand as this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-HIGH...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item519a60619e ( I have an optimus) which is $2.95 .., someone is making a lot of money if it's selling for $30
BTW I have the above battery and it works fine, if I had to guess I'd say 1200mAH, seems worse than stock 1500 slightly. after 20 charge cycles I think it's starting to go bad, not sure yet, it died at 40% the other day.
I just recieved this one and WOW
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/3-7v-3...-pack-with-back-cover-for-moto-ma860-4g-65800
Streamed a 2h 20m movie over wifi without taxing it at all. Plus when it fell to 1 percent it stayed on for about an hour. I'm on cyanogenmod right now so I know the larger size battery needs to be recalibrated. I am also assuming that when you switch from the lower MAH to the higher one the battery information stored on your phone would then be incorrect. Basically everytime you switch batteries you should clear your battery memory in your recovery or download a proper recalibrating app to do so. Hope this helps everybody!

I have no clue bro, I just take my charger to work and plug that **** in.
Im guessing its because none of us have gotten our hands on the phone yet. I can tell you that I bought some aftermarket batteries for my 4G and they sucked pretty good and didnt last long at all. I ended up just buying an extra oem battery to carry around with me.
Hard to say. I have like 4 of these type of batteries (Made in China) for my Evo 4G, and if these are anything like those, you can expect the same battery life as the OEM battery.
I'll probably pick up a couple.
i hope the battery lasts a little bit longer than the EVO... i dont know y they cant make the batteries last atleast 6 or 7 hours lol

Non OEM batteries are notorious for being over rated in mAh and usually are lower capacity then the OEM. Batteryboss.org

Seidio Case/Battery coming...
For my 4G, I have the 3500maH battery and the ultra rugged case from Seidio.
Here's the page for similar products for the 3D.. Hope they are available soon
My experience with their battery has not been disappointing at all. Not quite the 30 or so hours people boast about in the forums, but still at least double that of the OEM battery. I suspect that's because now that I have the big ol' battery, I am using the power hungry features of the phone more frequently than before.
The phone is a little thicker with the new battery door, but it actually feels better in my hands with that extra depth. Feels less likely to slip out and drop.
A significant caveat is the battery gauge. Unless you leave it on the charger for a couple hours after it shows 100%, it won't get to its full capacity. At least that's what seems to be happening with my phone.

I got 75-80 (don't remember exacts) on my extended battery from Sprint. That was being mildly conservative, using GPS and music while working out, a lot of texting, couple phone calls, some internet usage.... I was happy.
Just gotta see what the extended battery is going to look like for this beast. At least for the OG EVO it looked halfway decent because of its location and what not.
With the dual camera lenses it'll look a little weird in my opinion... And I like the slim/ naked look more so now than ever lol
I have three of the similar batteries and charger for my EVO 4G, just not extended. They have been a great value. Never plug in except to ADB. Never have to hover around a corded charging phone afraid to miss a call.
I ordered the similar for the EVO 3D. They haven't arrived yet, as well as the phone. Your post may be a little premature
Nothing really new to add, but I too use the cheap generic replacements in my Evo 4G. Last week, I got lucky on eBay and scored 3 Evo 3D batts plus a wall charger for $13.50 shipped. They probably won't be as good as the stock battery, but will be fine for me as I'm not a power user by any stretch. I routinely get 24 hours out of the stock battery, so even if they are only half as good, they will get me through the day with no problem.
Somebody linked these in IRC and thought I would share, thinking of getting these. http://cgi.ebay.com/3x-1800MAH-HIGH...ccessories&hash=item3cb94bf1db#ht_1744wt_1140
Yeah I have 3x batteries and the wall charger on the way since last week!
I'll let you know how it goes
Hmm...
I forgot about those.
I ordered 5 cases, screen protectors, and got them from china.
Inside were 2 batteries and an external charger.
They kind of got tossed somewhere....
1800mAh.
Popping one in now...

It's noticeably lighter than the oem, but the phone booted.... So... we'll see.
I don't really have enough use/drain time specs yet to tell you much, but I'll slap Juice plotter on the thing and see what happens...
Got my 3500 mAh battery a couple days ago. So far impressed, and is what I've needed. I couldn't go a 1/2 day with the 1750 mAh battery. Now I'm going 1.5 - 2 days before charges.
I am using the battery monitor app, but I'm not too keen on it's features. If there is something that you guys would like for me to look at, let me know. If I'm reading it right, I'm getting 13 hrs on this batter between charges.
BTW got the battery off of eBay ~8 w/ free shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251060188877?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

Yea it is the black and white one.
I'd recommend this one for considerably less. About 10ish from Amazon, 13 on eBay:

Has an odd looking case but the non standard design allows it to continue to be used in docks and car docks.

Seidio Innocell 1900mAh
I am going to get the Seidio Innocell 1900mAh this week
I vouche for that laza battery. It is awesome works great
Honestly I couldn't go with a 1900. The extra 170mAh in my book is like throwing money away. In my case it would only give me another 1/2 of usage, and I would still be tied to a power outlet. Now I can go 3 days on one charge. When I get the time I'm going to cut out my Otter backing to allow me to use my Defender and cradle.
If the 4000mAh Seido battery weren't $50; compared to just $8 for a 3500 with backing, I would have gotten one. The longer I can go without charges the more I would inclined to go with a larger battery.
How long do the Laza batteries go for?
I'm using the Battery Monitor widget, but if someone could tell me where to look to see the estimation on battery life, I would post it up.

whats the best batterie for evo 3d ?
Most mAh (capacity) Seido 4000mAh
Best bang for the buck, eBay 3500mAh batteries. Just make sure that they are the black version, and come with an extended battery back.

Best as in what? Most power? Cheapest? Longest lasting? Best reliability?
Well guys, I may have spoken too soon. Seems that the 3500 that I bought just went dead...for good. Won't take a charge. Charging light just blinks red, and phone will not power on. Works fine with my old 1700mAh batter. And this is less than 14 days of use.

if its blinking i believe that means its super discharged and requires to be hooked up to the charger until it stops blinking. try leaving it on the charger for a few hours, see if it comes back.
i was about to buy one of theses...

Gonna need more info to this, as I have never heard of a battery being super discharged. Already contacted the seller. $2 for s/h and I get another batt, and don't have to send back the old one.
I'd recommend this one, Yoobao 3500mah Extended Battery, the quality of Mugen and Sedio at half the price. Dont be fooled by the CHEAP batteries that you need 2 of that may ruin your EVO 3d there is a reason why they are $9 and no warranty. http://dx-box.com/yoobao-sprint-htc-evo-3d-3500mah-extended-battery-plus-back-battery-cover-door.html

my bros EVO 4G stopped working (stock battery) and all it did was blink red while plugged in. we left it plugged in for a while and it wasnt coming back on....
so after looking it up we figured out that sometimes the battery dies and go way below startup charge levels. to indicated this HTC phones will blink red. so we crossed our fingers and left it plugged in for 4 hours. maybe a little less.. and it came back like nothing had happened. hasn't been a problem since..
my bro admitted he ran it down, but i suspect the phone thought he had 50 percent still when in fact it had less than 0%
make sure your using a USB AC Adapter, a computer will likely take twice as long if at all
Here is what I believe happened with your battery. Its voltage dropped below a preset value. As you left it in the phone and on the charge, as the charger blinked red, the battery stabilized. Think of it this way, you leave your lights on your car and you get a dead battery. If you let it sit for a bit, you may regain enough amps to start the car. Essentially same principle here.
ETA: I swapped back to my 3500mAh battery, after it sat out in the open for a couple days. It now takes a charge. Will report back on its capacity. I expect it to take 6 hours to fully recharge.

Well my stock battery gave me trouble... Just needed a kick start.... It wasn't even discharged. Just wanted to pretend it was.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29154356
So you guys just walk around without w case after you get the extended battery?
I can't decide if to get an extended battery ... (it will cause problems with my car phone stand and my dock, my kick stand case will be useless...) or buy another battery? Since I rooted I can't seem to get any decent battery performance

Here's what you do. Get an extended battery. Buy an Otter Box Defender. Take the back plate of the Defender and cut out the battery section. Wrap it with the silicone case. Now you can still use the Defender's cradel. The Otter Box Defender has a built in kickstand, not many people know of. All you do is use the belt clip and open it as wide as it will go. At that point the clip will lock open, and there you'll have a kick stand.
Just don't know if it will work with your car phone stand, but now you have a case, a kick stand, and extended battery.
Sounds promising. I'll be sure to check it out.
I didn't know about the belt clip either.

Can this be done with the Ballistic HC too?
I have a Rezound I got in June of 2012, I am unlocked and running CM10.1 and the phone has never run smoother, but the battery is killing me. Back in December my battery just outright died and Verizon gave me a new one. The problem is that even though this battery is only five months old I only get half a day off a full charge. This morning I played a game for ten minutes or so and surfed Reddit for a few, in total less than thirty minutes of use and I was already down to 85% on my battery. Does anyone else have problems like this, is there an actual fix, am I doing something wrong? Someone help please.
i use the pc to charge the battery its charge it at 500mah max
the battery life is better then normal charging
i use for browser uc with lower brightness and low image

Try another battery, undervolt your phone, reduce your brightness, etc.. Can you take a screen shot of Settings, Power, Battery Use to see what's using most of your power? I'd suspect the screen is since it's a power hog.
Screen is a *****!

I will start manually controlling my screen brightness, and what do you mean by "undervolt your phone"? Attached is a SS of m battery usage.
Make a screen shot after clicking on Screen item on you your screen shot. That way we can see how much usage of screen time you get. Usually I don't get more then 2 hours of screen time.

If you got about thirty minutes of screen on time with only 15 percent drop in battery, then that is pretty good for this phone. Sorry to inform you, but it isn't going to get any better with this phone. Battery life is, and always will be, the worst aspect of the Rezound.

Yeah that is a bit of an odd one to me as most reviews said battery life is about the same as the Galaxy Nexus, and most people I know with that phone are content with the battery life.

I assume you're talking about the stock battery and not the extended. With the extended I usually get about 5 1/2 hours screen on, but that with maybe 5% left.

Screenshot or it didn't happen. Seriously though get an extended.
where would you all recommend coming across an extended battery? ebay etc? Also, I got an extended battery a little while ago, granted it wasn't HTC oem or anything, but the back cover that came with it did not appear to really give me any signal anymore, as if the contacts for the antenna were not touching in order to allow for the signal to be amplified.
I have this: 2750mAh Battery For HTC Rezound, ThunderBolt 2 Extended with Black back cover from UK-Expert (can't post links yet)
I know I know...probably not the greatest thing to trust...didn't think much about it at the time =P Should I just go for buying htc oem off ebay? or what do you all suggest to get the extended battery & the cover so that it actually works this time =P

As you know our antenna is part of the battery cover. I have read quite a few posts where people buy an offbrand extended battery and their signal ends up bad because of the new battery cover. So because of that personally I would buy your first extended from Verizon. You have to be careful buying "oem" batteries off of Amazon and EBay because they make claims that they are oem when they are just lookalikes. I can suggest a case too that won't add any thickness to the back. I got that case and extended and love it.

Looks like they are out of stock on the case but you may find it somewhere else. GL

ok will do. that case is out of stock but i'll check around I'll be careful looking for them since Verizon doesn't want anything to do with the Rezound accessories much anymore...or at least I had no luck finding anything. I'll see what I can gather up on ebay/amazon hopefully I get lucky thanks.
