Well actually I have Both the Sensation 4G and the Gtab 32 gig Wifi, and they are both awsome devices.. I don't regret my buy on any of them.. If I would trade one for the other will depend on how much I use them, I use a lot my phone so I like to have a top of the line phone so it is a matter of taste and what you want to do with each device. both of them are amazing once rooted and with custom roms.
In Paris for the Tab and S35ay for the Sensation
I have both as well. I'd say it depends on what phone you already have being the determining factor on whether it's worth it or not.

[Q][Pool]Which phone to buy?

Samsung Galaxy S2
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Samsung Galaxy Note
or
Tell me if you know better phones?
And why?
Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note are very similar in performance - of course the latter has a bigger screen - whereas the Galaxy Nexus improves on both phones hardware and sports Android Ice Cream Sandwich. So my question is, why would you not buy the Galaxy Nexus? If you have no budget restrictions, go with that phone; if you're on a budget, the Galaxy S2 is still great.

Nah, it has Gingerbread. Since you're looking ICS though, get the Galaxy Nexus. The Galaxy Note is a great phone but it's 5.3 inch screen is just impractical and a prefect way to be targeted for a robbery.
Also I failed, I hit Galaxy Note in the poll instead of Galaxy Nexus.
ICS?
"HTC has committed to upgrading a number of its smartphones in "early 2012." HTC hasn't said how early, and will provide more information as it becomes available. The update list includes the Amaze 4G, EVO 3D, EVO Design 4G, Rezound, Sensation, Sensation XE, Sensation XL, and Vivid. Most of these devices are sold in the U.S. by the major carriers, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless."
Informationweek
"The HTC Sensation, Sensation XL and Sensation XE were named as the first HTC smartphones lined up for the Ice Cream Sandwich update early next year, as well as the HTC Rezound, EVO 3D, EVO Design 4G, and Amaze 4G, which will receive the update over the air “through close integration with our carrier partners,” HTC says. The new HTC Vivid, going on sale this week, is also on the upgrade list."
Pcworld
Okey, then which of these 3 are the most modable?
P.S. insert EVO 3D and HTC sensationi XE
+1 note

Need advice on samsung gs2 / htc sensation xe /

Hi there
currently i have htc mytouch4g but since now there is not much development in the glacier forums i have sold this and now planning to buy a phone which has lot of roms and devs
i have shortlisted 2 phones
1. Samsung galaxy s2
2. Htc sensation xe
which one will u recommend ... Kindly advice
I would go with GS II just because GS2 got better hardware.
Ya probably know it has more RAM, more internal memory, more battery juice, Super Amoled Plus, larger screen, HSPA+ and official ICS update etc
Both have plenty of devs compared mytouch 4g but if you wanted much development, I would go with Galaxy Nexus.
If I had to choose between the Sens XE and GS2 and if I am not concerned about my carrier' s data service then I would go with GS2.

[Q] one x, s3, EVO 4g LTE.....no longer wanted

how many of us EVO 3d owners were gonna switch to the phones in the title, im gsm and lte wont be hitting the uk (like the evo 3d wasnt)
UNTIL ICS WAS LEAKED
and then changed there mind, deciding, the EVO still has life left in the old baby yet
I'll still be upgrading
Sent from my PG86100
I'll be pre ordering the LTE for sure. I upgrade once a year no matter what.
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2
honestly the best way to use an upgrade is on a iPhone (if you like them), because sprint devices drop value after 2-3 months you could pick one up used for contract price from craigslist

That's not a bad idea. Get the iPhone for contract price. Sell it for way more. Buy a used Evo LTE. Then keep the profit.

I'm still going to preorder the LTE but if Newt gets his Rom running 100percent I may keep my 3d
Method1911 3D
HTC has announced that the One X won't be unlockable on AT&T. If they don't allow unlocking on Sprint, how will that affect your decision? I'm sure a dev or three will eventually find a hole and give us a root method, but I'm sure it won't be easy and may be a good bit of a wait.
Yes that's a good point. If it cannot be unlocked, I'll keep my 3d.
Method1911 3D
I'll be ordering mine in 20 hours 18 mins and 15 seconds
HTC really shot themselves in the foot, not that im complaining
Still getting the EVO LTE the EVO 3d is good and has life but its missing something what idk
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
the evo 3d is still good, not the best phone possible obviously but more than "good enough" with this update, I dont think that I will upgrade at least for six months more, probably next year.
my money now will go toward a new tablet instead of a new phone.
ICS is nice but the New Camera, Kickstand, S4 Krait, 16GB, HD Voice, LTE, NFC and Sense 4.0 with the new EVO is really tempting.
If anything, ICS/Sense 3.6 made my 3D go up in value.
I'm going to need a Sprint leak or final before I actually sell though. Can't roam with the current VM leak.

I think Agrabren mentioned something about finding an exploit in the S4 chip and stated that REVOLUTIONARY will only support qualcom chips. We should be in good shape with or without HTC's unlock, though I doubt Sprint will restrict unlocking.
Think I'm going to wait for the s3 i love sense but I'm tired of HTC the so called flagship phones come out with a bang then in 3 months or less they are forgotten look at the 3d and rezound
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
The OneX is unlockable even on AT&T. HTC announced they understood that customers were very upset that they could not unlock their devices and decided to make all new phones since the 3d, unlockable. As far as sense3.6, I'm not that excited about it. Sense 4.0 is still way much better. I'm going to get the OneX when it comes to sprint in June. But the name is going to be changed, adding it to the evo family. I hear its suppose to be the best evo yet, even topping the Evo4g LTE. I'm excited.

When the OneX joins Sprints Evo family, its said to have removeable SD unlike AT&T version. As for the removeable battery, I'm sure there is a way, there is ALWAYS a way.

Q) trading my EVO Lte for a Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I have the White Evo LTE excellent condition and I was looking for something different as I'm not ready for a upgrade till March and this guy offering me his Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4g/LTE 32gig stock even trade.
Is this a even trade or is it worth less than my EVO Lte? Need advice from those that more familiar with the Nexus
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
I'd stay with the lte.I had both phones at the same time. Lte has better battery life by far. And cm works just as well.
There are some more rom options for the gnex but I'm not really a super flasher. If you want to flash non stop the gnex. otherwise I'd stay with the lte.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I would stay with the LTE as well. Not exactly what I would call an even tradeoff. Aside from the non-expandible memory on the Nexus (my biggest reason), the LTE has the best of both worlds with Sense & CM. The Nexus has a few unique ports for it, but I prefer the quality of the LTE.

HTC Evo 4G LTE
~Asking for the 'best rom' is just like asking who's the best Pokémon. When you get it, sometimes you realize that its not all that great in your opinion. Try to flash 'em all! ~
Ok thanks guys for yr opinions.
It's hard to make a wise decision when you're not familiar with the other phone.
I'm gonna keep looking for more of a equal trade off or put money in the boot.
Really trying to get the One but things are not working out for me yet. I'm offering my White Evo LTE & a Hp Pavilion 17.3 Wide Screen Laptop fo trade on Craigslist for a HTC One but no luck yet
