Some quick tips about the camera sound , but it maybe different from each roms.
1. check /system/media/audio/ui/Shutter01.ogg exists, if not , put the file here.
2. check /system/build.prop file, find ro.camera.sound.forced=0, set it to be 1
before you change, backup and make sure you can go back if failed.
good luck.

[Q] Some Questions About MIUI...

I'm having FCs in some parts of the "Settings" like, changing volume, Display brightness..
Can I use any other kernel to under volt CPU ?. XXLPH kernel doesn't let me.. Keep in mind that, this is an ICS base & some people say that Siyah & Redpill kernel doesn't work on MIUI ICS ROM..
I'm not getting any updates through OTA "Updater". It checks for updates & nothing happens. There's a new version of MIUI 2.3.23, but can't update. Shows 2.3.16..
Any solutions for these ???
Thanks..

MIU FAQS and WIKI
Factory reset phone or reflash firmware or /and wipe Dalvik Cache to cure FC.

That's not going to do anything as it's a problem with the ROM.
Update to the latest Galnet version, I heard its fixed quite a few FC's.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA

I think it's the ROM's fault. Still, I'll try the procedure... Thanks...
What about a supported kernel for Undervolting & the OTA updater issue ???
1) Supported kernel for undervolting - ask Miui. Kernel makers aren't going to change their kernels purely to support Miui. Miui has to change the baseband they're currently using to work with the kernels.
2) OTA updater issue - Rom issue, refer to 1 (ask Miui).

DSP manager doesn't work on ICS rom?

I have flashed the SensatioN ROM 3.0 ICS (Based on XXLP2) and used it for two days.
Generally everything goes well but the DSP manager does not work at all.
I have tried to flash this CWM patch:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569609
It says it can work on any ICS roms.
Well but the problem is still.
Does anyone have a usable DSP manager for ICS on GS2? Or there's not a solution temporarily?
Contact DSP Manager developer .

Tried it, but it make speaker quieter!
If i set +5 the volume decrease xD
I think the only way is to increase it via a file or init.d
I found a file called m0 in system/etc/sound very similar to default_gain.config.. But nothing changes
The kernel is really similar to cyanogen one, if can help

[Q] Volume boost on FUSION 8.0 ROM

Hi guys,
I did try to search thread related to my issue. I found this one close, but with no solution.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159358
My issue is: I have flashed CM10.1][4.2.2] Fusion V8.0 on my SIII. Everything is awesome except, the volume of the speaker has gone really low.
With headphone it seems fine but with its inbuilt speakers, I am almost not able to listen much.
Any solutions, Please help.
