As title says, im running carbon rom that, in my opinion, is amazing
The only thing i do. Ot like is the stock speaker volume, that is low compared to what i was using on sammy rom
Intried alsamixer but settings restore every time to default..
Any help on getting louder volume?
Thanks

Tried it, but it make speaker quieter!
If i set +5 the volume decrease xD
I think the only way is to increase it via a file or init.d
I found a file called m0 in system/etc/sound very similar to default_gain.config.. But nothing changes
The kernel is really similar to cyanogen one, if can help

Apparently this is a bug in CM/AOKP based roms due to the lack of audio drivers. You can flash a kernel such as Dorimanx or Siyah which gives you the options to boost this volume.
cant find a sound boost option in dorimans recovery are there kernel specific apps ?

Yes, once u install Dori or Siyah kernel, The 'Stweaks' apps gets installed automatically, where u have the option to adjust the volume under 'Sound' tab
hi guys... is there any way to implement siyah kernel's sound features to Stock kernel ?

That'll be called stealing. because he made them mods on his own and you're stealing the mod and sticking it into the stock kernel which then essentially becomes siyah kernel again. Except it won't have the other goodies in it. Also you need his permission.
Another thing is you can switch of the siyah logo in stweaks. I do know how to make and write to kernels but this i cannot do. Plus i am an impatient man and don't like building kernels because it takes a lot of time and effort. So hats off to all kernel devs.
Basic answer from me is NO!
However i could be wrong..

well... thanx dude. i should ask it to gokhan moral, but i dont think he'll build such kernel for me. so... again helpless...
He wants it for his own personal use. Building takes awhile. Compiling does not.

Try Boeffla_Kernel. Very close to stock, with still some V**d**-Sound implementations inserted.

hi guys. i´m trying to put my i9305 LTE the best mp3 player that i can get. i read that are some kernels (siyha) that has audio adjustments that "boosts" the sound, but o confess im really noob with flashing kernels and im afraid something goes wrong..
currently, i run CM11 nightly, but i can also run the CM10.1.3, i don't care about the android version on the phone...and i only "know" cyanogen mods.
so, i ask, is there any rom that as built in some kernel like siyha (i read that boeffla does the "same") that i can just flash the rom and complete my golds for sound?
i searched and searched but really i do know any other rom´s by using them...maybe someone with more experience can help me..
thnks
dont really need a kernel for that just go to the market and install viper4android or go here to the official viper4android site on XDA. It will amp your sound easily without having to have a new kernel

Every good kernel has an Instalation Guide. Follow this steps and no problem
You must find compatible kernel.
Also you must find that kernel include app or you must use Aroma installer to change anything

I tried cm 10.1, omnirom, ct-rom and with these roms if i flash boeffla nothing happens, if i flash agni stays in bootloop..
The only rom that has what i need(kernel)is amsha but i hate the design :/
To flash a zip kernel is not the normal procedure in cwm?

With Agni, you'll have to flash a custom recovery thats able to run f2fs (check the thread, you'll be able to find a link there)
If you get the chance I'd check out SOKP, Milestone 2 is a bit buggy at the moment but they're rolling out MS3. Where most of the bugs are fixed.
Thats part of the reason why SOKP has such a huge following haha
Good Luck!
-- edit --
On the i9305, the boffela kernel + the control app (you can find it on LordBoeffla's website for free) will let you "amplify" the sound. Youll find this under the sound's tab in the boffela control app.
For the best audio, try to tweak it so then you get the minimum background "hiss" [set the android master volume around 80-90% then drop the boffela volume to an acceptable level for your earphone/headphone]
(From a semi audiophile's POV, you're better off getting a dedicated DAP if you're using the i9305 only as an Audio player. If you dont have that much music, you may want to try and stuff all of it on the on board storage as running it off the MicroSD may deter audio quality [from bottlenecks and what not])
thnks for all your helps after trying and trying, i managed to flash c-rom, and the agni kernel, i did not test exaustly but i think its this im looking for...a rom seemed like cyanogenmod and a sound tweak option...the only "problem" for now is i cannot update to the last version of c-rom, i will try to read all the posts on the right section to figure out whats happening...
Hi, i bought a pair of headphone but i'd like to increase the volume in output for them, is it possible?
I tried with volume+ but instead of increasing the volume, it's lowering it...
I'm running a 4.3 firmware stock based (with root ofc)^^
Thanks in advance

Thanks, i think that it might be a great solution, but i'm worried about flashing a file that might broke the system, i'd prefere to edit it manually i think

Installing a new kernel is not good for me, archidroid+archikernel is actually very good
You guys know if the acid mod is still working on newest 4.3 firmware?
When Im using any 5.x roms its always distorting.I tried boeffla kernel but still same.Anybody knows how can i fix it?
@ArdaCsknn: Explain distortion: when&where?
There's no Boeffla-ROM. There's a kernel, which can be configured by Boeffla-ConfigApp. What did you config?

Sorry my fault.I edited it.Im using kernel for fixing the sound distortion.Im just lowering the sound. When Im using the rom directly without kernel its distorting so bad.But on old versions of android there is no problem.I can max out all the boeffla sound settings.
I still need an answer.Audio is really distorting and speaker volume is really low.
