[Q] Boost headphones volume - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, i bought a pair of headphone but i'd like to increase the volume in output for them, is it possible?
I tried with volume+ but instead of increasing the volume, it's lowering it...
I'm running a 4.3 firmware stock based (with root ofc)^^
Thanks in advance

Thanks, i think that it might be a great solution, but i'm worried about flashing a file that might broke the system, i'd prefere to edit it manually i think

Installing a new kernel is not good for me, archidroid+archikernel is actually very good

[AUDIO MOD from GNex] Megabassbeats v2

Hi.
This is not my mod.
And nor is this mod designed on Note 2. But this mod is very very famous on SGS III as it works perfectly there and (THANK GOD!) it works here too
Its just a simple MOD (flashable zip) to increase volume INSANELY. Along with much "crispier" bass and better sound quality.
dsp manager is also included
You can see the original thread HERE
Credits to Reb0rn for reminding me to share this here even thoigh he doesnt know he reminded me ive been wanting to post it here since day 1 :good:
Works. Tested.
This MOD is awesome! However. I just can't decide if I like it or not
Ive jumped from backup to this to find out the difference and its there. Its a huge difference. Dubstep and trance/techno and rap/hiphop gets bassier. Really bassier.
But if I listen to say Chopin or Vivaldi... this mod is not to recommend
It all depends on the music you listen too the most.
Note: If your music player already has a EQ. Disable it and only use the DSPManager!

It just happens that this is dsp manager v2 and that one is v3.
Installing this mod doesnt delete a current dsp manager. So you will have to:
Flash this mod.
Then flash that mod again.
They both can work simultaneously but flash the v3 after v2 so that there is no conflict :good: hope it helps

Apparently this is a bug in CM/AOKP based roms due to the lack of audio drivers. You can flash a kernel such as Dorimanx or Siyah which gives you the options to boost this volume.
cant find a sound boost option in dorimans recovery are there kernel specific apps ?

Yes, once u install Dori or Siyah kernel, The 'Stweaks' apps gets installed automatically, where u have the option to adjust the volume under 'Sound' tab

Tried it, but it make speaker quieter!
If i set +5 the volume decrease xD
I think the only way is to increase it via a file or init.d
I found a file called m0 in system/etc/sound very similar to default_gain.config.. But nothing changes
The kernel is really similar to cyanogen one, if can help

[Q] Volume boost on FUSION 8.0 ROM

Hi guys,
I did try to search thread related to my issue. I found this one close, but with no solution.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159358
My issue is: I have flashed CM10.1][4.2.2] Fusion V8.0 on my SIII. Everything is awesome except, the volume of the speaker has gone really low.
With headphone it seems fine but with its inbuilt speakers, I am almost not able to listen much.
Any solutions, Please help.

Sound distortion on Lollipop roms.

When Im using any 5.x roms its always distorting.I tried boeffla kernel but still same.Anybody knows how can i fix it?
@ArdaCsknn: Explain distortion: when&where?
There's no Boeffla-ROM. There's a kernel, which can be configured by Boeffla-ConfigApp. What did you config?

Sorry my fault.I edited it.Im using kernel for fixing the sound distortion.Im just lowering the sound. When Im using the rom directly without kernel its distorting so bad.But on old versions of android there is no problem.I can max out all the boeffla sound settings.
I still need an answer.Audio is really distorting and speaker volume is really low.
