Other-
Tested the battery with Battery Monitor Widget by 3C, Thanks to CyberManiak for the suggestion...
This is what I got:
Health good: 34c/4140mv
Techno Li-ion 2300/2300mAh
....[Warning: I do not trust BMW!]
additional info:
The battery needs to be charged for 10 hours the first 3 times.... I confirmed this because if I charge it for a couple of hours when I disconnect it, it automatically changes in an instant from 100 to 98%.. but after 10 hours it stays at 100% when disconnected. And also discharge it as most as posible to get a better charge...

I'm pretty sure you can't use i9100 batteries with i777 due to bootloop issues. Unless that's been resolved. Let us know if it works.

Wow they sended the wrong replacement battery ouch! that is bad luck.

Yeah I talked to them they said they would send me the correct one if I sent the HTC one back and paid s&h but for 9 bucks I'll take the loss what can you expect I guess.
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk

they asked me the number of the original battery. it seems they get confused or something.
Edit- Guys the battery is EBF1A2GBU.
:/ Only thing left is to try it out and see if I got luck.

I hope this comes in and works well, I am considering buying one just as an extra battery but am skeptical as to how much it will actually hold being a battery that will fit in without an extended battery door...

Yeah I hope it works. because 2300mah without a different battery cover would be awesome.

Please let us know how this battery works for you. Specifically:
1) Does it require an extended cover or can it be used with the stock cover
2) Can it be charged while in the phone (no boot loops)
3) Does it actually appear to be 2300mAh or is it a lie?
I found this battery too and am really interested, but not exactly trusting of stuff like this on EBay. I'd like to know if it is legit and works well.

Did you already send them feedback? Tell then they will get negative feedback if they do not either refund your money fully or cover the replacement including shipping.

It is supposed to work with original cover it says to be slim, it may say it is 2300mAH and the only way to know if it really is, is trying it out. So I risked my self on buying it since it was cheap. I will let you guys know how it works out.

No I have not sended them feedback, but since it says it is for the AT&T model on the page, then it is their fault if it does not work out. And they will get negative feedback for sure.

Definitely give them the chance to make it right, but if that involves you having to pay a penny to fix their problem, they should get negative feedback.

QCell AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 / SII SGH-i777 3600mAh Extended Battery

Hello guys,
I purchased one of these and so far so good. I'm running an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II- with "ICScrewD Red Edition UCKH7" Rom
The battery is able to charge while the device is operational without boot loops.
After the first charge I ran cpu/memory/gpu stress tests serveral times during the day, kept BT, WI-FI and GPS on while on the road, streamed music, watch videos, set display to max and time out to 2 minutes to expedite discharge basically above normal use.. The baterry lasted 20 hours under those conditions.
After a second full charge the cellphone have been running on battery for 28 hours with almost 4 hours of display time and is showing 56% battery charge left.
The back cover fits perfectly. The only thing I would like to find is a travel charger for it. I bought a GTMAX charger but the battery does not fit in it. I can only charge regular size batteries on the travel charger.
Hope this helps others looking for an extended battery.

3600mah?! that's intense. Would you mind posting up a few picks to compare the thickness of the phone with that on vs Stock? Thanks
No problem. Will do once at home a little later.
Don't know if I want to trust another battery from Qcell as far as what capacity they rate it.
Bought a supposed 1950 mah battery through them and it turns out that it's really only 1650 mah. While the battery performance is on par with stock which is fine, if you buy it under the pretense that it'll get you better battery life, stay away.

Are you going to get some sort of bumper or case to go along with that? I'm interested to see if the battery door/cover from other 3000+mAh batteries would work with this one - like the one from the GT Max.
I'm going to use the SGP Neo Ex with the battery. I tried the tpu case for extended battery packs but it didn't fit. The back cover of the gtmax didn't fit my phone correctly.

nice bat. What about the first uses? should you discharged full and then charged till 100%? or you should use it normally till like 40% and then recharged full? (40% to don't degrade the battery life)

Hi, may I know if any neo v users bought any extra
battery for this phone?
Are there any 3rd party battery with higher capacity
available in the market?
or how much does an original one cost?
Thanks
I bought myself a solar paneled on the go phone charger. It's alot better than an extra batteries - unlimited supply of Power and at a fraction of the cost.

After that, unplug, turn phone off, and charge again until you hear your charger zooming (means it is full), turn on the phone and charge again for a couple of minutes, and you're ready.

Mugen is a trusted brand. My friends use it. And I'm planning to buy one for occasional use. Just in those cases I know I'm gonna be out for sometime and might need some extra juice. I already get around 24 hours, adding it might make it last around 2 days. That'd be something.

Motorola battery back up on sale

I hope some of you get a chance to go to Vzw today because it's the last day of the back up battery charger sale... I paid under 30 bucks for this little one... There is a huge one for 80 bucks bit not worth it... The cord plugs into its own space on the device for storage and less mess, and it has a usb for other non micro devices
Size is 1860mah which is about 1 extra battery for us... For the price I got it and will have it for emergency

Reporting back. EXCELLENT product. Charges great. On a recent day trip to disney, it completed recharged my phone, my wife's, and son's (DNA/ONE S/NExus 4). Charges 2 devices at once. Seems to be a rapid charger as it charges our devices much faster than the home plugs.

Does Samsung sell batteries direct? Where to get them?

Yep, bought a battery from eBay for my S2 and I cannot use it, cannot charge it, nothing. It came with 50% charge, tried to charge it overnight, but since the phone "thinks" there isn't a battery conected it will only drain it but not charge it, not via USB, not with orignal wall charger, not with Sony external CyberEnergy battery.
So the pressing question is, since I don't live in the US and my original battery is way beyond unusable (it's become fat, any CPU intense activity will shut off the phone), can you purchase original, useable, new Samsung batteries online?
Thanks.

I haven't heard of Samsung selling direct or a good place to purchase original batteries. However, I know of some really good batteries that are not cheaply made and will hold a full charge. Therefore, you wouldn't have any issues like the battery you purchased from eBay. They are Mugen batteries and I would be happy to send you the link.
Yeah of course. A Google search (I just did one & found several; you might need to order from a different country & pay whatever shipping costs though) should reveal plenty of places online that still sell genuine Samsung I9100 batteries (not Samsung though, they don't sell them direct).

I found those too! Are they only higher capacity? Believe it or not, I'd rather keep the slim profile of my phone for now. I'll perform a much thorough Google search at home tonight.
If you have that link, I'd be most thankful. Some sites are restricted at work, and strangely enough, Mugen batteries is one of those.
Thank you!

Don't want to sound *****y, but that is exactly what I don't want to do AGAIN. Just because someone writes "Original" or "Genuine" on the item's description isn't, sadly, enough for me anymore. I've got a very succesful eBay purchasing history because I do my homework.
In this particular case, I knew I was taking a risk buying from eBay, I had read that several buyers have (possibly unaware of that, since they buy bulk) copycat batteries. Since my phone isn't new and it's rooted, I figured I'd run said risk, maybe a rooted phone does not perform such a thorough battery ID. I was wrong. Live and learn.
Having learned my lesson, I don't mind paying a higher shipping cost, but making sure I will receive a battery my phone will accept and a battery that won'd damage it in the long run.

Found this one. What do you think?
Search in the surrounding shop with batteries / electronics

I found those too! Are they only higher capacity? Believe it or not, I'd rather keep the slim profile of my phone for now. I'll perform a much thorough Google search at home tonight.
If you have that link, I'd be most thankful. Some sites are restricted at work, and strangely enough, Mugen batteries is one of those.
Thank you!

Here is the link that I would use to purchase the Mugen batteries: http://mugen.co/samsung/at-t-samsung-galaxy-s-ii-usa.html
The eBay link looked ok but this one I would trust a lot more.

I got one in retail packaging for £11.99 about 2.5 years ago. EAN barcode is 8806071517919.
i just got a cellshell battery, so far so good, although ive only charged it once (dont batteries need a few charges to optimise performance?)

Replacement battery?

I've seen reference to a couple different batteries that should fit/work, for those looking to replace the battery for one reason or another and figured I'd consolidate things here...
http://planetfon.ru/akkumuljator-li-pol---3-7v--5000mah_l238
http://www.allbatteries.co.uk/tablet-battery-3-8v-5100mah-tml90080.html
The challenge being for some that neither of those will ship to the US (no one will internationally probably, because of our lipo shipping restrictions).
Anyone found a supplier in the states with something similar?
My main worry would be: how do we know that the replacement battery we buy from some obscure online store is any safer than the original faulty battery?

You don't. But since my old tablet's battery got bloated, I'd rather take my chances with a dubious china battery...
BTW: Anyone knows a compatible battery obtainable in Germany?
@ slideyneez: Where did you get the link to the battery from allbatteries.co.uk from?
I found a battery that someone posted that should work and is found through AliExpress so they ship worldwide

Over in this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62442239&postcount=336
Allbatteries looked to have the same thing (and even the same website design, maybe they are related), and was in a more convenient language so I cited that one.

Ain't that battery got a bit too low voltage? The original battery is a 3.9v, but the one he shows is a 3.7v

0.2V isn't a significant difference for a whole battery pack - tolerances can easily lead to the same difference (+ or -).
FYI, the official replacement B01 battery is rated at 3.8V.

That is not how these batteries work all lipo are 3.7v unless they have multiple cells in series then the voltage goes up in increments of 3.7
Also it should be known that a fully charged lipo will read 4.2v and a discharged will read 3-3.3v
The fire hazard with these is likely 2-fold 1 the charge and protection circuit has a flaw that allows the battery beyond a threshold either voltage or temp paired with a bad cell this had a bad habit of catastrophic failures. This is likely why nvidia opted to brick tablets rather than open them and swap the batteries and resell them as refurbished.
Btw that is what I would have done everyone got a k1 style tablet where the package had nothing but the new tablet inside was a return label and the procedure would have been factory reset tablet then package just the tablet no stylus no accessories. As the tablet you would get would be in a similar state... except the stylus slot might have a rubber plug...
Alright.
But has anyone tried a third party battery by now without any issues? For example the aliexpress one? Cause my old shield tablet is still off and awaiting a new battery and a kernel change because the tablet initially awaits the kernel killer to kill off the old one.

Well that depends what you call issues there are several in this thread that reported that the battery did not last as long that is not really what I would call an issue as the original battery was 5200mAh they put a 4250 in or even a 4000 that should last less it is an expected result...
But that said my previous post was a warning against this as the faulty bits might be part of the charging and protection circuit on the battery. Particularly the control chip that runs the sensors and the charging regulator.
Anyone do this yet I bought a LTE model and the battery is seriously eroded.

My post right above yours I did the reading for you the people using the Nexus 7 4250 mAh cell reported that it worked but with an expectedly shorter run time. As loosing about 1000 mAh is a noticeable drop.

Interesting well I found a few batteries that have 5000mah. Not sure if they would work.

In theory you could replace the pack with a bank of 14500 cells. As long as it was a 1s?p arrangement it means 1 series any number in parallel series is voltage and parallel would be capacity and amperage.
The procedure given to replace the battery packs in these tablets involves removing the charging/protection from the original pack and soldering the new pack to the old batteries solder points. So any bare lithium ion pack that is 1s?p configuration should work if it fits. 3.5mm 64 mm 150 mm is the 3 measurements for the OEM pack
