I found this very strange but I'm not sure to categorize this as a Network Problem or an Evo 3D problem. Whenever I get many messages as in someone tries to spam me, my messages take FOREVER to get to the phone as if they send 100 messages the last one arrives an hour after they sent it. I've Spammed people with my phone to theirs and their messages arrive immediately and easily 500 messages arrive in no less than 5 minutes. My network is Sprint and I've tested this with other phones, an iPhone 4 AT&T (Received all messages quickly), An iPhone 4S Sprint (Also quickly), Evo 4G (Took a long time as well but only took 10 mins for 500 messages) and a Cheap Flip phone. My phone on the other hand starts receiving them and receives maybe 10 - 20 messages then blacks out for like 10 minutes, gets another 10- 20 more and repeats. Is there a way I can modify it so it searches and receives all of them immediately or As quickly as possible?
haha, instead of that be happy that no one can spam you

My hero seems to have a problem with the time from the received texts.
For example It's 5:00pm and when I send my message, it is marked 5pm but when the person responds right away, it is ALWYAS 5 hours earlier so it is marked as 12pm instead.
Ive read some reviews and alot of people have the same problem.
How can it be fixed?
People mentioned factory reset, but did it actually work?
Hi
I'm having a few problems with my emails and wonder if anyone could help me out. I have a galaxy s2 and using the gmail app. Basically my push emails are coming to my phone like 20-30 mins late. This only happens when my phone has been sitting there doing nothing for a while. If I have the screen on whilst one is sent they come instant or if the phone is asleep and I wake it up one will come through that has been queuing for a while. It makes me think its something to do with the data side of things where my phones 3g signal is going to sleep when the screen is off.
I had my friends windows 7 phone for a few days last week and had my gmail set up on that. Emails came through almost instantly or at most 30 seconds after they arrived on my desktop no matter how long it had just been sat there. Does anyone experience anything similar on their android handsets or is it just a samsung galaxy s2 thing?
Cheers
I'm having the same issue with my 2nd EVO 4G, the first seems to get it immediately, both are on wifi, and same rom CM7 latest nightly
I'm having problems sending texts on my phone it's brand new only a day old (I switched out my other evo due to battery issues). Now this phone is much better even just feels sturdier than my previous one but last night it randomly stopped letting me send texts.. My data is pulling a consistent 2mbps and I can make calls but I cannot text. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how'd you fix it?
I have had this issue as well. I just toggle airplane mode and it catches after that.
Same thing here, did a power cycle and was good to go.
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Not sure if this belongs here, but here it goes.
About a few weeks ago, I started getting text messages from my boyfriend, but they were cutting off after around 160ish characters. The second text box was received was empty. I've included an example in the picture attached.
No one else texts me that much other than him, so I am not sure if it is just his number causing me this.
A week after this started happening, the problem got worst on my phone, when the stock messaging app, started crashing randomly. Later on, I would get the same message received, double.
T-mobile released the phone, saying they had received there were problems with a small number of S5.
I got the replacement phone yesterday. I was texting my boyfriend last night, when the message got cutoff again.
So I've had the V30 for a week now and my wifi keeps dropping in my house. I have the Orbi mesh system so I have 2 satellites and the router. Any ideas on what to help that out.
Taking pictures on phone as well seem like they are blurry almost when every one has talked it up so much. I just use auto mode but everything no matter how much light I have in a room or outside its like the focus is out of sync.
talked with Verizon and they are sending me a brand new one because its within the 15 days.
