If you want stable stay with stock or at least a blur ROM.

Cm7 is stable enough for a daily drive

I tend to disagree with that. From my experience, the ROM's we have here are damn near, if not more so in some cases, as stable as stock. But, as usually, YMMV.

What do you mean none are stable? Have you even tried CM7? Don't make ridiculous statements.

Definitely CM7 by the photon dev team.. really great rom

I run electrify 2.3.5 rom with lots of disabled stock services - because it has best battery life comparing with other roms.. Deleted all blur, run go dialer, contacts, go launcher ex. It works really stable. I love cm9 and cm7, but while i have only one stock battery, best rom is large battery rom!

CM7 has alot more features well cyanogenmod features they are really cool

CM7 for now. Once CM9 has camera I'm there baby!!!

ROCKO has the best battery life and is very stable and snappy
CM7.2 Is very stable and fast (if you use Joker's 1.4 OC kernel) with lots of customization options, battery life is better than stock but not as good a Rocko
CM9 ICS is fast and mostly stable but battery life suffers (some things are broken too... camera, mms)
Magnifier is basically just a themed stock, but is snappy with decent battery life

What is a stable rom

What is a stable gingerbread rom that supports camera?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Most consider stable, fully operational. There is NOT a GB rom that is this.
CM7 and MIUI have no FC issues or anything like that.
With cm7, expect poorer (not terrible) battery life, NO gps and they are nightlies/experimental so issues will pop up. There is NOT a stable build.
You could also try Asgard
+1 s15274n to wht he says! i love cm 7
I like Axura, looks good runs great and the battery life is excellent. Also its the only ROM I can get gps to work.
Hey guys thanks I think ill just wait till the bionix gb rom comes out

Im using M.I.U.I, and i think that its pretty good. My battery life its waay better than with CM7. Its a little (barely noticeable) laggy. I love the themes and apps. I do miss the drawer sometimes, but meh, its just about getting used to not having drawer.
Thanks cm7rocks
Vibrant owns cm7
try Revolution 1.5 rom by ali.
I am using it right now and it is very fast and quite stable too.
I also like Axura a lot, decent battery life and HUGE customization options.

Did someone say MIUI lags? You must be "doing it wrong" because it's a far cry from Froyo when it comes to lag. MIUI is by far the smoothest ROM I've used, and the few issues that exist are pretty minor, at least with build 1.9.23. GPS works great too, if not better than Froyo.

(POLL) Best Optimus One Rom?

What is your favorite p500 rom and why?

PerfectPeso2.2 cuz its frikin fast! Got GTA 3 running with almost no lag at all!

It's a little lower than the most ROMs but it can hold 2-3 days, depends how you use it. And i can't relly tell you cuz i am using my phone A LOT (games, testing apps, wi-fi) so its always on performance 787Mhz and for me at the end of the day its like on 20-30%
best
CYANOGEN MOD 9 it actually makes my friends jealous
Perfectpeso 2.2 because its rly very fast and smoth.
LEWA, cuz I don't really care about performance. Only looks is what matters to me. I tried to go to other rom after using it but all other ROMs looks kinda not so good. Tried using cm9 but waiting for stable version. And waiting a battery fix for MIUI also.

Oxygen 2.6 and #void forever. Yes, #void it might be old, but is great.
Both ROMS are fast and almost bugfree.
Also, I like OpenOptimus, not so fast, but very stable and without bugs at all.

LeWa is just awesome...but hey, it isn't that bad in performance...its one of the smoothest either... loves the battery
As my signature tells, I use N2 because camera is very important for me and N2 has no bugs
I came to vote...but there is no poll......

Favorite ICS ROM

What is your favorite ICS ROM? Wondering which one is the best/has the fewest bugs and issues. Thanks everyone in advance
Sent from the Land of Multiple Cores.
jokers build
its stable
every ICS rom got the same bugs due to the lack of proper drivers
That's interesting, so any differences will be in features?

Another vote for Jokersax's.
You would be able to try out several of them fairly easily with Kitchen Sink:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/choose-your-poison-with-kitchen-sink-for-atrix-4g/
Why do we get similar threads like this every week about which ICS Rom is best? Haven't there been enough already?
My vote goes for MIUI. Pretty dam fast and stable, plus the look is awesome.

I agree. I'm using MIUI V 2.4.27 which is based on Jokersax 0.5 CM9 build.
It is amazing. It turned my unbelievably unbearable Telstra Atrix on 2.3.4 to a device that is smoother than any other android I've used...
I'm running mine with the Atrix-CM9-Kernel-025b-ext4-1.45GHz and its stable at 1.45GHz all day every day with excellent battery life.
It's funny I get 2x the battery life on the MIUI Rooted ROM with custom kernel than I did on the Telstra 2.3.4 stock ROM.

Miui4dx2 or eclipse or cm7 current

It's hard to deal with the memory issue with all the CM9 bases, love the roms hate the resets and lags.
I haven't ran miui4dx2 gb since it's first alpha is it stable enough to enjoy it. I love my miui or should I just stick with cm7 or eclipse?

Give my MIUI a go! It's fairly stable with little to no reboots. If you don't like it, you can always nandroid back.

If you wanna stay on 2.3.4 then i would give Twitish's Rom a go, from what i hear its pretty nice. I'm on eclipse because it is damn sturdy. Once MIUI or even AOKP get a bit more stable or DZK comes through with kexec i will definitely be SBF'ing back down to 2.3.4. Seems to be where all the action is!
Stick with CM7. I've tried all of them and CM7 is the smoothest and fastest.
I've tried eclipse liberty and cm7. Cm7 is pretty good but it seems like eclipse has less problems. I'm on cm7 now though cause most of the issues I can live with.

Try all of them. Thats what I do. You cant take anyone else's word when it comes to this question. You just have to try them out yourself and decide.

eclipse 2.3 for me.
i was getting terrible battery drain, but i remembered last night that i had 2.2 on there and just flashed over it- without fixing permissions in recovery mode.
so i said screw it, i wiped all data and reflashed. its much better now, probably working as it should be, although i still think there is room for improvement for the battery life.
I've ran everything and I can't beat stock battery life
The only other Rom that ruled in battery life was the gingerbread based miui has twice the life ;/

I've had great luck with AOKP. Basically, any of the major mods (Cyanogenmod, AOKP, MIUI and CNA) will give you a great experience which is WAY better than AT&T's stock GB with all its bloatware.
Try nottachtrix,smooth enough for me

I was on neutrino and it was smooth enough with no compatibility problems. Now I am on mrom. Most stable rom I've tried. Better battery life and very nice customisation. Give it a try.
