What is your favorite ICS ROM? Wondering which one is the best/has the fewest bugs and issues. Thanks everyone in advance

jokers build
its stable
every ICS rom got the same bugs due to the lack of proper drivers
That's interesting, so any differences will be in features?

Another vote for Jokersax's.
You would be able to try out several of them fairly easily with Kitchen Sink:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/choose-your-poison-with-kitchen-sink-for-atrix-4g/
Why do we get similar threads like this every week about which ICS Rom is best? Haven't there been enough already?
My vote goes for MIUI. Pretty dam fast and stable, plus the look is awesome.

I agree. I'm using MIUI V 2.4.27 which is based on Jokersax 0.5 CM9 build.
It is amazing. It turned my unbelievably unbearable Telstra Atrix on 2.3.4 to a device that is smoother than any other android I've used...
I'm running mine with the Atrix-CM9-Kernel-025b-ext4-1.45GHz and its stable at 1.45GHz all day every day with excellent battery life.
It's funny I get 2x the battery life on the MIUI Rooted ROM with custom kernel than I did on the Telstra 2.3.4 stock ROM.

If you want stable stay with stock or at least a blur ROM.

I tend to disagree with that. From my experience, the ROM's we have here are damn near, if not more so in some cases, as stable as stock. But, as usually, YMMV.

What do you mean none are stable? Have you even tried CM7? Don't make ridiculous statements.
Definitely CM7 by the photon dev team.. really great rom
I run electrify 2.3.5 rom with lots of disabled stock services - because it has best battery life comparing with other roms.. Deleted all blur, run go dialer, contacts, go launcher ex. It works really stable. I love cm9 and cm7, but while i have only one stock battery, best rom is large battery rom!

CM7 has alot more features well cyanogenmod features they are really cool
CM7 for now. Once CM9 has camera I'm there baby!!!
ROCKO has the best battery life and is very stable and snappy
CM7.2 Is very stable and fast (if you use Joker's 1.4 OC kernel) with lots of customization options, battery life is better than stock but not as good a Rocko
CM9 ICS is fast and mostly stable but battery life suffers (some things are broken too... camera, mms)
Magnifier is basically just a themed stock, but is snappy with decent battery life

+1 CM7 Stable enough for a daily driver, and fast.
skinny is pretty stable. rocko should be as well
I've gone from the G2, Sensation, iPhone and got a Thunderbolt cheap.. What's a good AOSP rom other than CM7?

Yeah, I've tried that.. Looking for more of a stock gingerbread look.
Thanks!
Well my personal favorite is MIUI. Although it's not officially supported there are a few floating around. I couldn't say which is the most stable though. I'd like to know as well haha. I just came to Thunderbolt a few days ago so still newish to Thunderbolt

I know you said other than CM7, but CM7 builds by protek and liquid smooth roms v3.1 will get you a nice clean stock gingerbread rom. Also, liquid smooth roms v3.0 is good as well! Bad thing about miui is, mms does not work last I heard.
Try liguid 3.2 its small fast and highly customizeable. I get quad scores between 29 and 3200 at 1.5 ghz

The last stable cyanogen build from October (by slayher) is what I ran until I switched phones last week. Worked fine with no issues for me. Every other AOSP ROM is built off of it anyways and has the same RIL.
What do you guys think the best ROM for the Atrix 4G is? I was using Neutrino 2.1p and then jumped on the ICS bandwagon with the ICS port (Its still in Alpha - heavily under development).
Neutrino has to be one of the best ROM's I've ever experienced. It's well maintained and has a host of performance improvements.
The ICS alpha is going well but its a long way away from matching the maturity of Neutrino.
Neutrino v2.2 with faux123 latest kernel at 1.45ghz ROCK solid performance.

Do you have it OC'd at 1.45? How's the stability? I used Neutrino GT OC'd at 1.3 and it was super stable.
i was almost on every rom and i still think that stock rom is the best...
maybe MIUI...when it'll come out on a full version and not alpha/beta.
If you can do without a camera the alpha 7 build (non 2d version) has been pretty solid
I have Arabic rom with Faux kernel 1.3 OC with full Ubuntu for Webtop and I am happy

CM7 (weekly builds have fingerprint unlock) is the best.

In my personal tests, Alien works the best for me. I tried CM7, did not like it whatsoever. Neutrino, surprisingly, wasn't giving me very good performance. All in all I think Alien in the best...if only it had stable HDMI mirroring...

Been by far the smoothest ROM I have used. Faux 024_r2 kernel from here:
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/1666-kernelatrix-frgbcm7263256unified-v024oc145ghzuvslqbbfqfeb-04/
Blur Roms
If you like all the functions of your Atrix working.
Wet Dream or The Dark Side are the best in my opinion.
Both are by the same dev and are fast and stable for me.
Right now I'm playing with cm9 kang until I need camera
Currently running Jokersax cm9 kang alpha 0.23.2

I'm currently using faux123's 023 kernel and I was wondering if there's a big difference between that and 024r? Thanks.
I'm a fan of MIUI, has a nice clean, finished look to it. However a little bit too iphoneish so I replace the launcher.
ICS rom is coming along very nicely, in fact I obtain the best battery life of any Atrix rom, including stock, while running ICS. This is fantastic since it's still just in the alpha stages and will only improve from here.

Could I suggest we make one of these threads/polls a sticky? The Atrix Dev forum seems to move very fast and would be good to have one thread for people to give their recommendations?
Neutrino 2.2 ftw btw
Hello. Can I get some suggestions for the fastest ROM and kernel combination for the fascinate? I have looked all over Google but honestly couldn't find anything relatively new. I want something that can handle a decent overclock, is stable, and is very fast so I can play games with no lag. Any suggestions? I honestly would rather GB over ICS but if getting ICS is what it takes to get maximum speed, then I will go for it. But I would appreciate GB Rom and kernel combinations and ICS ROM and kernel combinations along with some pros and cons of each. That would be great. Thank you!
Bump

CM7 and 9 are pretty fast. I'd stay away from JB for now, as it is surprisingly slow. MIUI has good looks and speed but gets literally HALF the battery life CM9 does. The only kernel in town for CM7 is Glitch, witch is a good one. For ICS you have a choice between Devil Kernel and IcyGlitch. Devil has more features and is my preferred kernel, especially since IcyGlitch as the buggy TWRP recovery.
I like aokp m6 with the devil kernel. very fast and stable

Honestly, Helly Bean ROM version 20120807 isn't slow at all. It supports a 1.4GHz overclock and runs 4.1.1. Unlike other ROMs, HB uses /datadata partition to make things quick and smooth. However, no kernel uses /datadata, so the stock kernel has to be used. But i love it.

I just rooted my wife's atrix. She has had it for over a year and finally let me tinker with it because it has gotten slow and sluggish over the past few weeks. I havent unlocked the bootloader yet as I will need time to backup everything on her device. I'm looking for some good advice to some of the best custom roms for this device. I searched the development forum and noticed some previous work from a few devs that are on the SGS II Skyrocket now (seanz and romracer). I assume that these roms are no longer supported. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
There is no dought CM7 is the best for Atrix. Stable and fast.
ICS rom is good, but not stable. Wait oficial release.
Sory for my bad english.

I am using Nottachtrix 1.3.1. It is blur based with quite a few options on install. Very smooth and stable. I would say it is excellent for daily use, unless your wife likes to piddle with settings etc... all of the time. If she doesn't want a blur based rom, I would suggest neutrino. Stable with excellent battery life.
Just my opinions. Good luck.
Either Cm7 or neutrino would be the best ones I think. Both very stable and super fast performance
