Will this work: h**p://www.accessorycity.com.au/cb-mirco-usb-to-hdmi-af-200mm-black.html
There was talk of the Titan having HDMI out and I was hoping HTC would release a cable but there has been nothing that I know of.
Don't think so, since WP don't have API to do this :S

You are correct, I purchased one, it works fine as long as you are pushing thru the HTC DLNA software, I whish it would also allow you to push you screen image or even a power point presentation to the same device.
the current software is a bit limited.
microusb to hdmi doesn't work? have any of you tested it?

That site appears to have much information about the Titan incorrect, so I probably wouldn't trust that site...
How is provided with a hdmi connection?
As the computer?

Then again, maybe not. For some reason the phone insits on dialing the last dialed number when the usb thingie is connected. This morning it just kept dialing on its own for no reason, really weird.

So anyone has managed to see films and all that on the Tv from our phone? Without streaming
I noticed this http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-UTC-200M-Out-Cable-Connector/dp/B0031S9A8Q
But dont know If it works. Other than that, with our USB cable is possible? Maybe using some DVD player or multimedia HDD?
Thankks!
Guess the cable in the link is the only possible way.

Ok, so if anyone knows any way to get it please tell my, I'll be subscribed here
Has anyone bought the wire to check if it works ? If yes can u post a youtube video ?
Wouldn't it need some special hardware on the phone for video-out?!
This could work too
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190575370143
I dont know, btw do u think with any HDD multimedia will work? Just like If you use a pen drive
I know the droid incredible can do it, but it's definitely software based from what I've read. If I purchase this cable, would there be anyway to get it to work? I would love to tinker with it if it's possible and I can get a good start on how to figure it out.

MicroUSB to TV output cable (not really sure what the official name for it would be lol)
I'm hoping it's not ONLY HTC phones [regardless of the branding of the cable] =( Because even though it's not HD, it's still pretty cool to connect 2 sixaxis PS3 controllers and output the N64 emu to the TV for a 2 player game! Almost like having a full portable console =)
The Player definitely does not support MHL (HDMI output), but there is some stuff in /system about TV output though, not sure how tvout worked on the Captivate?

OK, you should really search the forums first.

Yeah, I don't even think a micro to HDMI exists lol But hmm that's interesting; I'm going to look around a bit and see how its done with the HTC it's showcased on, The Incredible.

Apparently composite output via the 3.5mm jack.

Hmm, I am guessing (and hoping) that you wouldn't need mhl support for that, since the chip is built into the cable?
Also; @entropy512, where in /system are you seing things related to tv-out?
Edit; I see a file in /system/lib called "lib_tvoutengine.so" is that what you are talking about?
There's also something like /system/bin/tvoutsvr or something like that - it gave me lots of headaches when I was working on CWM... (stuff in use in /system = can't unmount = all sorts of bad **** happening.)

That's what I was hoping for as well haha, if it does worth, it'll be well worth the 15-30 for the cable

I know the YP-GB70 has a HDMI out (as I own it). Never tried it as I don't have that mini hdmi-hdmi cable. But do you think it does need some sort of software? If not, I guess you could output via HDMI on a YP-G70...

First try MHL with stock ROM and see if it works.
It could work with an active MHL adaptater (11 pins)
I saw people telling it was compatible, but no confirmation of having it working...
