[Q] No Flash Mode on WT19i

I am not sure how i managed to do this, does when i was trying to unlock my boot loader with the test point method using s1tool or when i press the Repair TA button on Octopus SE Suite.Since then i can not enter in flash mode on my wt19i.It just shows the Sony logo and starts charging. Before this i was able to flash it normally.I`ve tried every possible flashing tool but all of them are asking me to enter the flash mode manually. (Unplug cable, power off, press and hold Volume down key and insert the usb cable).Where could be the problem?I have read many treads but i couldn`t managed to find a solution. Please help.Thanks.
Have you installed the drivers provided in flashtool?
And install pc companion to get drivers, too!

Yes they are installed. Here is an image where i can see that the ADB drivers are installed.(Highlighted area).
I`ve tried this also.I know that i must hold only the volume down key wile inserting the cable.I`ve done this few times few weeks ago.But something is messed up and i think its when i was trying the testpoint method using the s1tool.Is there any option in s1tool for reseting the phone to its original state?
Come on guys, no one had this problem before? Is it software or hardware related?
Update...
Is it possible that somehow buy upgrading to 4.0.4, key combination for entering in flash mode is changed?

And you turn your phone off and after that you hold volume down and connect while holding volume down to pc and there's no green light? Is it orange or what happens?
EDIT:: Just found this thread, and there's same problem solved. But you will need the original WT19i_35850804005723_11-02-2012_20-51-48.TA file and I don't know where to download it. Maybe contact ramezzidane (in the thread) and ask him where he found the .ta file or if he could upload it for you, because it seams that Octopus SE Suite has overwritten some things like fastboot mode etc. Hope it'll help you

When i get the prompt from flash tool i:
Unplug the phone
Turn off
hold down the volume - key
plug the usb cable to the phone
No color light at this point
On the phone appears the Sony logo
i hear a sound like new device plugged on the pc (No driver installation window on the taskbar)
The light goes orange and battery icon appears on the screen showing that is charging
That`s all.
Is there any method other than with Octopus Suite for rewriting TA?

No.My bootloader is locked.
dude it may be driver problem
do one thing
go to device manager in windows 7
in bottom most u see "universal serial bus controllers"
expand the menu and uninstall all usb drivers(option in right click)
restart ur pc and now try to connect again
Have you tested your volume down key on Android? Maybe it doesnt work since you tried to unlock your phone...
In addition, i would try in another computer, installing drivers from the beginning.

You could try to flash the content of the ftf manually, but that's dangerous, cause if it doesn't work your device is bricked and you can't enter flashmode anymore to flash stock firmware.
And you can't repair via pc companion, cause you can't enter flashmode to flash the firmware again and you can't repair using sony update service, cause it's the same?
If you're sure it isn't a driver problem (install flashtool drivers and pc companion and restart pc) it should be only solved with flashing the ta, but that can only be done in flashmode and you can't enter it, right?
So is your device rooted, then unroot (if possible) and bring it to service center. They should repair it, but I can't promise. Tell them (cause flashing with flashtool voids warranty), that you had a problem and you wanted to repair using pc companion and you couldn't because you can't enter flashmode. That's the only method I think, except from writing the ta again. But don't know if they would repair it for free or if they can solve the problem...
Maybe we can find another solution for your problem
My phone was network locked few hours ago. I was trying the test point method again and now its locked totally. It is not accepting any sim cards.I read a post here on the forum where the guy was explaining this procedure so at the end he managed to fix the flashmode. But as he stated the phone will remain network locked. For that he mentioned the setool method for network unlocking. For me went bad.Now my phone is network locked and the key combination still doesn`t work.So now can you give me the cheapest way to unlock my phone first and then go back to my first problem. Is there any chance to get it unlocked by the IMEI number? All of the keys on the phone are working very well but i still can`t enter in flash mode.I tried flashing on another computer with fresh windows installation but it`s same. It`s not driver related i am sure.Ether is wrong key combination or is that TA thing. Thanks to all of you guys for your efforts, but i must find a way to fix these problems.
Update...
Ok Guys.I`ve take the phone to a local repair service and they`ve managed to fully unlock it.It cost me 10 eur for that. Now on the bootloader status in the service menu says "Yes" instead earlier when it was "No".But i still have the Flashmode problem.I hold the Vol - key while plugin in the cable and the phone just starts charging with a orange light indicator.Where could be the problem i really don`t understand?Any idea?
I think the problem is the ta. Octopus may have overwritten some functions like flashmode. But I don't know exactly if it works to rewrite ta...
And what should i do next now?The newest i've noticed is that my GPS is not working anymore.I think that it's the ICS version but i am not able to reflash it.Comon is there no one that had this problem?
Sent from my WT19i using xda app-developers app
The guy from the mobile repair store told me that when i was doing the test point method i`ve broken something in the JBS or JVS.I didn`t understand him very well. And he told me that he somehow managed to unlock my phone but about the flashing problem he said that i will never may flash the phone again. Is this ok or?

On stage 13 when connecting the device while clicking the vol+ button I hear a double beep and I can see the S1Fastboot device in devices and printers in Win7 without drivers installed, and it disconnects after 3 seconds.
While trying to install the drivers I got from this tutorial it fails.
What can I do?

You can get into fastboot without flashtool if drivers are correctly installed.
Stupid question: Have you already unlocked your bootloader? If you haven't done any modding before (e.g. flashing custom ROM) you might haven't done it so. That can explain why your phone goes charging when you plug USB cable instead of fastboot mode. Try also some Linux live distributions. Some of them have adb and fastboot included.
I have done flashing and modding.
But right now I am not able to put the phone in fastboot mode
I am expecting some helpful comments instead of asking me to search for answers.
Because I have already searched for those, came here finally.
Please provide helpful comments to put the phone in fastboot.
I am not able to find the answer
How did you unlock your bootloader?? I mean by which method did you do it?

First, you didn't provide importrant information. Which ROM you currently have, which one you are trying to flash, have you tried to update firmware via OTA, because there are some situations where you can accidentaly relock your bootloader. I assume you didn't brick your phone earlier with FOTA, like in my case.
Next, when you try to connect into fastboot mode, try it without FlashTool and open device manager and watch if it responds when you try to connect phone with usb while holding menu key. Fastboot is a command line application which can work without FlashTool (which is a GUI frontend to fastboot).
Second, you didn't read my post thoroughly. I suggested you to try a Linux live distribution, e.g. ubuntu. Just boot it from CD or USB and when it is ready you can connect phone in fastboot mode, just hold a menu key and plug the usb cable and see if blue light goes on. It will probably not solve your problem on Windows, but will give us some answers.
I too am facing the same problem!
Im currently using CyanogenMod 10 with the same Kernel which was pre-installed on the Neo V when I bought it.
I wish to change the Kernel to Lupus as it is compatible with most of the ROMs. I tried flashing the kernel with Flashtools and Kernel Flasher but to no avail.
Kindly help!

I have the same problem. I want to get into fastboot mode but nothing happens. The computer only gives a sound of connection the device and that's it. No blue led when pressing home and connecting to the computer.
How can I flash the kernel?
I have adb drivers installed
When I normally have neo running then there's no problem in turning int Fastboot pressing a lighting in flashtool

To go to flashmode on flashtool you need to put the firmware on the correct folder. Where have you placed the ftf file?
Do you have unlocked bootloader?
If not, then fastboot is not for you and have option to use Pc Companion to repair your software if the problem is in there.
Did you install flashmod drivers for your phone?
What happen if you connect your phone switched off with hold down the button volume - and connect in the same time usb cabel to the phone?
Did you see green light?

no bootloader is locked.
it had the original stock firmware without any modification(not even rooted) before it went dead.
the same thing happens with pc companion it doesnt detect the phn.
and yes the green light turns on.
Like i say before. Don't wait Pc companion to recognise your phone.
Just turn off the phone, charge it good, after that connect with Companion WITHOUT turn on the phone or what you want and continue with the steps.
Doesnt flash mode work even with a locked bootloader?
Maybe you haven't installed USB drivers. Go to local disk C then flash tool and then open drivers and install the drivers for your device.
And then check flash boot again.

Flashmod is for device with locked bootloader and flash on stock files.
Fastboot is for device with unlocked bootloader and for flash on custom / different from stock files.
Fastboot will not do the work after the author has locked buuloader.
Better use Flashtool with flashmode or Sony Pc Companion or Xperia Comapnion, again with flashmod / green light.

did u find any solution, i have the same problem.

Is there any way to fix this? No Usb-Debugging, Bootloop, etc...

Hello guys,
im starting to lose hope that my phone will ever get to work again. I tried flashing a rom via TWRP, which led into a bootloop. After that I tried flashing another version of TWRP, which let to the fact, that everytime I now press Power + Volume down it also gets into a bootloop and does not show up TWRP. After that I tried connecting it to my PC in Fastboot mode, but since no USB-Debugging is enabled and cant be enabled, it is also not working, even with Universal Adb drivers installed, windows does not recognize any device is connected... so my question is, if there is any hope left or my phone is just dead...
I really hope you can help me.

Thank you
Finally it worked! The problem was the usb cable I was using!
