[Q] Prime touch screen settings - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Hi!
Does anybody know where the config settings, calibration data etc for asus transformer prime touch screen (and touch pad as well) are saved? I know for files in /system/usr/idc/atmel_maxtouch.idc for example. If also anyone could help me with what exactly do those numbers in the atmel_maxtouch.idc mean. I can imagine what some numbers mean but not all...
Any help would be appreciated very much! Thanks in advance!

This question will self-destruct in 5....4....

Whats wrong with it? Im very new to this forum (to any forum actualy) so please no hating...

The other guy probably said that because its in the wrong section. Reposting your thread in the questions and answers section n you will have better luck there.

Indeed, wrong place to post this dude.

I see there is an editor that says it wont work for Thunderbolt.
Any suggestions???
If you read around the devs have said changing it for the time being reeks havoc on the framework.

Please don't double post. Especially in the same forum.
No, thats not a storm. Its just my Thunderbolt layin down this post.
WOW!!!!
Ask a question and get a bunch of forum police really being part of the solution!!!!!
You could've just asked the moderator to send it to the proper place.
Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
People DO make mistakes and I didn't even realize that I made one.

[REQ]Need ideas for freelance android app development[REQ]

Hi folks,
I am interested in starting freelance android application development. I have a year of experience in developing android applications and background services. It was only recently that i decided, I needed to make some money using this skill, but unfortunately I'm from India and hence i cant publish paid apps to the market. Also, you guys are the best source of ideas for apps. So start demanding your ideas here and i could get down to realizing the best ones. I don't plan to charge for the applications, but donations would be welcome. Of course, that would come into the picture only once i have the apps ready for you.
Looking forward to your demands.
Regards,
manrock

Sorry I'll keep that in mind
There's an entire huge thread full of app ideas. It's not been active lately that I know of, but I'm sure some of the ideas are still good.
If you don't get much response here, see if you can find the thread. If I can find it I'll post it here for you.
For more recognition, I'd change the title of your thread to show that you're looking for app requests. More people with an idea for an app will open this thread with a better suited title.

It's a silly idea... Why don't create a manual/guide for android phones?? I explain: an app with subcategories and sections for model of phone With XDA guides (how to root, change bootanimation, etc) periodically updated.
Just an idea

[Q] When will Transformer Infinity get it's own forum section?

I ask because it is difficult to differentiate between the models in the prime forum sometimes when simply looking at topic titles, plus it is technicaly not a Prime anyway by name...not sure what the requirements are for new sections.
Considering getting the Infinty and reading up on it where I can...xda seemed like a logical choice as well

I cannot find an Infinity forum using a browser on my desktop but strangely there is an Infinity forum that I can access with my tablet using the xda premium app. It appears to be available but I cannot find a link to it on the main browser site.

[Help] Stupid Question Thread, GNote Edition

First: Google is your best friend. Please use Google first. This thread is being created for new and old users alike. It's only purpose is a safe place to ask those questions you feel may be too stupid to ask anywhere else.
Second: No question is too stupid. Any question asked here shall be deemed a good question because you were smart enough to ask it.
Third: This is not an original idea. All thanks and credit goes to lumin30 for coming up with this idea. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1494423 and to ShadyAce80 who brought the idea here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849043
Fourth: I am not claiming to be able to answer any questions.. Might even ask some .. Just wanted to have a place for those Note
questions that users might have.
**This Community has a Super thread which could provide answers to a lot of your questions, the Super thread is open to everyone as a resource page:
[Road & Ref Map]: Galaxy Note Super Everything Thread (I717)
So here we go...open for business. Lets try and be helpful. Any flaming will be reported. All of XDA rules still apply. Flaming and the belittling of other users will not be tolerated and dealt with by the moderation team.
Ask away .. answer if you can .. above all .. have fun and play nice.
Reserved for Bubba
Reserved for stupid question.
I strongly disagree with number two. Any idiot can ask a question, only a smart person knows when it's necessary. Someone the other week had opened a thread because his clock had the wrong time. There are most certainly stupid questions.

Not.to be argumentative but.... My son has the LG thrill and his clock is randomly changing times on him resulting in him being late for work on one occasion. I haven't been able to figure it out yet (though i really haven't spent that much time trying yet) and don't want to resort to flashing a different Rom on it. so i could see asking a question like that in the near future if i don't figure it out. ( obviously in the thrill forum)
from a galaxy far far away....

If asked and answered, you gain knowledge. Not everyone on this site is at the same level. Easy for you may be hard for some other user. I have had my own"duh"moments. If you haven't then more power to you. I look forward to your input here to help out so others can benifit from your knowledge. I will agree with your last sentence that there are stupid questions .. hence the thread name. But I will ask you to refrain from name calling. Thanks. I hope you stick around.

Ultra noob here. I got my phone on kijiji and it was already rooted and flashed to work with Wind Mobile(Canada). The phone is originally from Rogers.
Here is what I get from phone info
Model number - SGH-I717R
Android Version - 2.3.6
Baseband Version - T989DTLKJ3
Kernel Version - 2.6.35.11
Build number Gingerbread.248
I am not sure what exactly has been done. I would like to upgrade to ICS and still have it working with Wind Mobile. What do I do? Where do I begin?
Thanks in advance and sorry. I know its a stupid stupid question.

Question about differences in Call Log between CM9 and CM10

Hello Everyone,
I have recently reverted to CM9 after testing CM 10 for a short while.
One of the more minor differences which i noticed between the two was what i call the "Call Origin Indicator" in the Call Log.
In CM10, calls from numbers which aren't saved in your contacts have the city of origin listed underneath.
In CM9, calls from numbers which aren't saved in your contacts have the country of origin listed underneath. The exception is for calls to the United States, which list both the state and city of the call - the same exact functionality as in CM10.
Now, my question is whether this is a documented difference in functionality, or whether something might have gone wrong with my installation of CM9.
If any further information is required, please just let me know and i will be happy to provide it.
Thank You,
HeroTwin

Hmm, trying to decipher your reply. Perhaps I posted in the wrong forum? Or maybe the answer to my question is just that obvious? Should your reply allude to the latter, I can assure you that I did my research in advance and could find nothing close to a reasonable answer to my query.
Either way, you'd do well to be more descriptive in the future so that people needn't worry about doing this kind.d of guesswork...

Mate post your question in Q&A forum and for sure you'll get answers.
OK, of course that makes sense. The only reason I posted here is because its more of a development related question and it seems to makes more sense here. Should I just go ahead and abandon this thread or is it advisable to wait for it to be moved?

Ah good, I see this has been moved. My apologies for posting improperly.
Any answer would, of course, be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
