Does anyone have the stock file explorer from the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1? I really liked this basic file explorer compared to the others in the market. However I am running the latest ICS build which doesn't have a file explorer.
here you go...no promises that it will actually work on ics but push it to system/app and change permissions.

I just installed the MIUI Galnet Stable 2-9-23 and I am very disappointed with its browser, therefore i would like to know if there is any way i could install the Galaxy S 2's stock browser on it, I downloaded a Browser.apk and Browser.odex files, which i was told to put in /system/app with root explorer.. but then what?

You're better off installing opera mobile, its much better than the stock miui browser. I've seen a thread on the miui forum on how someone got the cm7 browser on miui, but it still wasn't as smooth as stock browser on a samsung rom.
i managed to take the original honeycomb launcher apk out of a original honeycomb rom.
and i was thinking if it is possible to
open root explorer and copy the launcher apk into the system and delete the older touchwiz one
just got the tab new and didnt even root it
and i dont have a reason to root the tablet except for this

What I like from original Samsung email.apk is the presence of mail preview on the right screen while in landscape mode, no other email apk in market having this feature.
I tried to replace the MIUI email.apk (I used NDT MIUI GINGER 2.3.7 v10) with Samsung email in the rom \system\app then rezip again then run CWM recovery.
The rom install perfectly but without any email app.

miui wont have any samsung framework will it? thought it needed that to use their email app
I have no idea, samsung email.apk size around 7MB, while MIUI email.apk size around 600KB. I start to think it can be all in one, stand alone install for Samsung email.apk since the size is a lot bigger.

i have a gtab 10.1 p7500 and someone deleted stock apps in my tab so i need contacts.apk, stock browser and task manager. can anyone help me? (I USE 3.2 HONEYCOMB)
Download one of the stock roms for your region and extract the apps. There is a thread in the developers section that has a big list of CWM flashable stock roms you can easily open up with winzip, 7zip, winrar, or if you are on Windows, the default app for exploring zips. ODEXed or DeODEXed.

I am on I545VRUFNC5-Stock-Root-Deodex ROM running 4.4.2 TouchWiz on galaxy s4.
The other day I made a back of Samsung Keyboard 4.0 and tried to flash a S5 ported SamsungIME zip file found in xda forum.
After the flash, the keyboard never worked and the back up also give me "android.keyboard.process" error. I extracted the keyboard apk from the stock rom and placed in system/apk with correct permission but still getting the same error.
Any help would be appreciated
