I noticed that ICS doesn't have an option to turn off Background Data in the settings like it used to have so I was wondering if turning off Auto-Sync is the same as turning off Background Data?

I follow the disable data setting
System settings -> Data usage -> Menu -> Restrict background data.
However, i can still access to market without a warning message
"You have to turn on background data"
So, is this rom can not disable background data(wifi)?
Uhh.. background data is data downloading in the... background.

Within the last week the Sense clock on my Aria has stopped automatically updating, I go to settings and set Auto Update on, I leave settings, go back in and it is turned off. It simply will not retain the Auto Update setting in an on state.
Has anyone got any thoughts on what has gone wrong?
Further playing has found me the answer.
Under Settings> Account Sync the Auto Sync had somehow been turned off. This overrides the individual application settings.
By fixing this I was able to Sync the Weather
I am looking for an Android setting or a 3rd party app to delay notifications from appearing for only certain apps. For example, I don't want to see any notifications from Facebook or Whatsapp while I am at work. I do want other notifications to come through like normal; I just want Facebook or whatsapp notifications to be held and only appear later when I am no longer at work.
Ideally this would be done automatically based on time, GPS location, or both. Alternatively, "notification delay mode" could be toggled manually, for example, by pressing a widget.
Is this possible?
I tried using the sleep mode widget in Light Flow, checking "exclude from sleep mode" for apps whose notifications I want to see, and leaving the box unchecked for Facebook and WhatsApp. Notifications for all apps continued to come through even with sleep mode enabled, so that didn't work.

When mobile data is turned on from Quick settings We get pop up notification "Data charges may apply -> Turn on" , at turn off "Turn off Mobie data? -> Turn off".
Is there any way to disable these notification and simply on and off mobile data from quick settings.
This notification wont come if data is on and off via main Settings.
Please help.
