I follow the disable data setting
System settings -> Data usage -> Menu -> Restrict background data.
However, i can still access to market without a warning message
"You have to turn on background data"
So, is this rom can not disable background data(wifi)?
Uhh.. background data is data downloading in the... background.
Opening something like market is.. foreground.

I noticed that ICS doesn't have an option to turn off Background Data in the settings like it used to have so I was wondering if turning off Auto-Sync is the same as turning off Background Data?
Hello, I have a koobee pepsi P1s, and have the problem that the phone does not keep applications running in the background, for example in the application whatsap only receive messages when you open the application, the mobile kills all background jobs, anyone knows any how to fix this problem?? say I have no savings activated battery.
1. go to settlings -> security -> pureBackground: disable it for all apps
2. settings -> sound & notification -> notification -> app notifications: enable for all apps (or just the ones you want)
3. settings -> battery -> battery saver: turn off, "turn on automatically" set to off
4. reboot the phone
please tell me how it went.

Try removing Trojan apps like (File manager, Uni Launcher) Those apps really sucking RAM's up but you need to Unlock the phone and root which I won't do until my warranty is over.

Hello,
I am starting to experience notification delay, no scratch that, messages refuse to load unless Whatsapp is directly running in the background. I receive a message from my friend and it doesnt load until i open the app, if it is not running in the background. If it is running in the background, i receive notifications instantly. This wasnt the case before. I dont have any battery saver app running nor any task killer. My phone is rooted with SuperSu, and it is running MIUI 8 global beta 6.8.18. Apps on my phone that use root are "OS Monitor, Titanium Back up, Change My Mac".
Help.
In MIUI setting, check the memory optimization. Low should be fine
Go to
Settings > Battery & Performance > Mange apps battery usage > Choose Apps > Whatsapp > No Restrictions
Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options > Memory Optimization > Off
Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options > Turn On MIUI Optimization > Off

Try switching off battery optimisation for your app
Settings - > Apps & Notififcations -> Apps -> (cogwheel) Settings -> Special Access -> Ignore battery optimisation -> switch off for your apps
Settings -> Battery -> Launch - set to "Manage manually" whatever you need
Did a factory reset and notification seems to work perfectly, i did not change any settings i just left them handled by the phone. Battery seems greater also

When mobile data is turned on from Quick settings We get pop up notification "Data charges may apply -> Turn on" , at turn off "Turn off Mobie data? -> Turn off".
Is there any way to disable these notification and simply on and off mobile data from quick settings.
This notification wont come if data is on and off via main Settings.
