Hi there,
I have a problem on my HTC flyer. I tried to search for a printer and he did find it. But now I want to remove the printer of my flyer, but I can not figure a way out how to do it. I hope somebody knows how to remove a printer.
Thanks in advance.
Greetings from Yourockiroll.

when you first installed the printer did you scan for a wifi or bluetooth printer?

Ok … in settings > wireless & networks > wi-fi settings then in wi-fi networks there will be a list of your networks … one of them will be that printer just click on it and then click forget
That is not a solution too. It is not listed in my networks. I hope you still have ideas how to remove the printer.

If that printer is located on your network then shut it down, maybe even unplug it.
Then have flyer flyer rescan for printers.
you can then restart that printer
You may try clearing the data from the printer service under applications.
I will try that option top. Thanks for helping.

Yes! I managed to delete the printer. Just like you said. I cleared the data within the applications. After that I searched for my printer. He found it and I was able to print again. Thanks! I am happy.

My Flyer Wifi usually connects to my office wifi network. Like my home network I have the passwords saved so it connects automatically. Recently it stopped discovering the office wifi network. My phone still connects on the network but on the Flyer the network does not show up any more so I cannot connect.
Tried.
- Restarting Flyer
- Installing WiFi Buddy
Thus far no luck. Any suggestions?
Get the admin to reboot the office router. I bet that would solve it.

[Q] Sync and internet connection issues
Hi all,
I'm an uber-noob - 1st time with android and 1st time using any kind of sync software... so will try to be as concise as possible:
I have sorted out HTC Sync on the PC to sync stuff - good good...
I added Zimbus on Thunderbird - seemed to be okay-ish...
[Q1] Does BirdieSync over ride the HTC Sync?
Using a:
HTC Flyer P512 (WiFi only)
Android 2.3.4 (updated)
Dumm de dummm de dummm... ...
[update!!!]
okay, uninstalled BirdieSync (simple!) and PC syncs with Flyer now.
But Exchange ActiveSync still can't connect to server though, ...
Help?!?!?!!
Ian
Seemed to sort 'itself' out after a day, all good. Sorry for the fuss...

Hello I have a flyer with honeycomb 3.2 and wifi cant find my wireless
i use linksys and i try other brands like dlink and tp link but it did not work
anyone can help ?
up please answer to my question
I moved to a new place and connected all of my devices to my same wireless router and for some reason my FlyHoney v0.2 HTC Flyer Wifi only cant connect to the internet. I can establish a connection with the router but thats it. Does android use a specific port or what?
ps My skype app connects just fine but everything else cant connect
Should be port 80 for general internetz. At least that's what it is on my flyer.
Try posting in the thread of the rom youve installed.

Its not the ROM, my building blocks port 80 and I cant figure out a way to get around it on my Flyer
Vpn?
/10 char
Your building is only blocking port 80 inbound...if they are blocking port 80 outbound your interwebz wouldnt work on any device without a proxy.

Normally HC doesn't (shouldn't) have any issue with GSM, but in our Flyer case GSM is not natively supported neither in GB nor HC.
But I wonder this: If it could be made working on GB, why not the same on HC, considering the fact that most GB programs runs ok under HC?
Essentially the platform itself supports phone call I believe, but I read somewhere that the phone.apk is there but no skin (or wrong skin) for the phone interface.
If you watch this video, someone managed to use honeycomb Flyer to make GSM phone call, but he did not elaborate where he gets the phone.apk with proper skin from.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6_bZUwbzjQ
thats because HC itself doesnt support phone function...
and for that video, i remember if you change the build.prop, the phone will pop up but its still unusable since the video didnt show the speaker and mic working...

It can?
I only now that VOIP calls are possible but the same apply for the Flyer.
And: You cannot make gsm calls on honeycomb
I am on WestfireROM v3.0 on a wifi only flyer. When I try to toggle on Wifi it just shows error below the toggle. Ideas?
Same issue with LeeDroid HC for the Flyer.

I have had this same problem intermittently, even with different roms. Recently tried setting WiFi hub to max 'g' speed, and hasn't dropped yet.
