Hey there, I was wondering if it would be possible to move my Gameloft game folder (Off my internal SD, and to my external SD.) to save on space.
Would having an empty Gameloft folder on the internal, and symlinking it to the full folder on the external work? And if so, how do I go about creating symlinks in Android? I have Root Explorer.
Thanks!
[TOOL] DirectoryBind - move data to external_sd (GameLoft, Shadowgun etc.) ROOT req.

My question is how can I move programs from sdcard to extsd, is there a program like app2sd or to combine the memory and to became one. Because if I put 3 game like asphalt 6 and it will finish the memory. Thank you.

try link2sd,
i dont know only one thing: where this program move files (apk+cache) cause i dont see them in /sd-ext and app2sd app (i forget about uninstalling it) is showing that app is in internal storage but internal storage free memoory is like it was before moving.
EDIT: after reboot it is in data/sdext2 folder (before in /data folder).

I am trying to install a game on my phone, but ran into a little trouble. I am putting the apk file on my ext-sd card and then put the obb file in the internal storage sdcard>android>obb folder and the game works fine. Problem is i dont want the 1gig obb file on my internal storage, I want it on my ext-sdcard. So, i removed the obb from the internal storage and put it in a folder i named obb in my extternal sd in the android folder. (same directory as my internal sd, except it the external sd). The game now wont load. Does the obb file have to be in the internal memory or am i doing something wrong when im trying to put it in the external sdcard?
thanks

i want to move specific app data(/data/data/klb.android.lovelive and subdirectories) to sd-ext partition(/data/sdext2/)
Directory Bind or FolderMount are moving data in /mnt/sdcard/Android/data and obb files to external sdcard, which for devices with internal storage.
i'm not trying to move obb files or data in sdcard.
is there any way to move one app data to sd-ext? i don't want to move hole /data/data to sd-ext(data2ext)
I have a similar problem, can't download or move apps to sd...will keep checking this thread

HI
to move the data to sdcard you can go to settings/apps/manage apps (it might be different for you just go where you usually manage your downloaded apps) after that select the app you want and click on the button "move to sdcard" or you can use appmgr or other app to sd like apps : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
i guess directory bind can bind any directory even data (it's been a long time since i didn't use it though )
and sd card partition is not in data/sdext2 because data is an independent partition , it might be found in mnt/sd-ext or something like that though , just investigate your root directorry with a root explorer
sorry, but app at your link doesn't move data app, only app... I'm wrong?
As far as i know, in kitkat apps are restricted from accessing other folders in sd card. but they can read and write data to their own folders in SD card isn't it? so y am i unable to move all the data to sd card? like in asphalt or something, cant that app move the data to its own folder in the SD card?

Yeah that's not possible .Its how it is....only apk move to SD card not the app data. You shud just root and then use Folder mount
Low end phones are much better with root access

HELP.!!!!!!!
How can i move pre-installed apps to sd card??? My phone is rooted...
pre installed apps are usually placed in system folder
the updates of those apps can be moved to sd card using link2sd
in order to move the entire app to sd card, the system app should be converted to user app
heard about another app called folder mount with about the same usage, but personally haven't tried it yet
Movable with 4.4 api
0ok friends..i have read somewhere that app data can be moved if they are using the 4.4 api..
and i have installed frontline commando d day(mod)..its one single apk with the data, and it installed to sd card without using any internal memory.if anyone know how to make these apk please tell me or any games that are moving to sd card..fully...
plz inform.
Hi people I have a question >> can Whatsapp be transferred to external sdcard...and if yes then do all images and videos share on whatsapp get stored on external sd or internal sd... kindly let me know...accordingly I may decide to purchase the phone.
I am using folder mount to transfer obb and data to SD.
Now i want to transfer mc4 obb file which is 1.91gb to SD but I can't install the game because my left space on internal storage is 1 GB.
How can I do it??

No problem.
Got it working.
Did this - created a blank obb folder for the game and used foldermount on the blank obb and transfered the obb file to sd card where the folder was linked by foldermount and its working.
