Can I RMA after updating to 11.1? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

So due to constant lockups/reboots since ICS updates i got fed up and took the risk and manually updated the firmware to 11.1 - now i just want to RMA it but wondering if it's ok even tho it wasn't an offical update from Asus? Far as i can tell looks like there is no way to downgrade to the official firmware does anyone know if i could RMA this back to newegg or will they not accept?
Thanks!

[Q] If rooted will i be able to recieve update for update from rogers?

I was just curious to know that if i decide to root my phone will i be able to receive updates from rogers ? since the Android update is coming i don't want to hear that "i wont get it cause i rooted it".
Thank you
I'd have to say yes. I set mine back to the old 14 firmware and made sure it read 10a then did the official update. As long as the Rogers update is above the f/w you're installing IMO you'll be fine.

do you have SE core apps removed from the phone?
no mine is running standard generic world 2.1, debranded on vodafone rooted with z4
I got a update message on monday, when i got home it said my phone was up to date hmmmmmmmm.
i'm running generic world 2.1, i get nothing on the ota, pc companion and seus. however, i wonder if this has something to do with removing the semcsync apk from system/app. and that's why the ota update isn't showing for ota update for me.
i think tonight i'll try flashing the rom, leaving it as is, and trying the updates to see if i get it.
I got the UK generic update ages ago... could this be a further update? OTA update check on mine says nothing available..

Yes, this is another update that should be OTA.

[Q] OTA downgrade?

Okay so I got my Prime on Friday, I have rooted and unlocked it and then updated to the .21 version. But then I noticed another OTA, which I installed, bricking my prime in the 1a manner from the unbricking thread.
So I fixed that luckily and when I finally got back into android I am now on version .14? How did that happen?

Build DevKit Portico Update

Hey Guys,
Has anyone with the Build Devkit version of the phone seen the OTA update? I'm on Rogers in Canada and I understand the phone isn't from them but still wanted to know if anyone else has seen the update on their phones and if I should even expect to receive the update anytime soon.
Any idea if we're going to get the update at all or are we supposed to go through Navifirm and lose our data?
Thanks!!
Nokia is saying that unlocked and international phones will have to wait until February for the update. We have different firmware than everyone else and it's not on Navifirm at all. I think you might be able to flash to the rogers firmware but it may or may not work (and/or brick it). Might have to just wait until February .
That sucks.
You'd think that the Devkit units would get the update first but apparently not.
I guess I'll have to wait till Feb. Not willing to flash a Rogers firmware.
Thanks for the heads up!

(how\when) should I update stock rom?

My step daughter had received her replacement phone this week after her newly purchased mi 10 5g bricked itself within 24 hours of purchasing.
I've had a little look at her new handset and it's shipped with a rom dated March 2020. My guess\instinct would tell me that it's likely that the update that caused the problem was based on 11 and it needed a more recent firmware than the one it's shipped with.
Does anyone have suggestions? Is this handset able to fastboot flash official stock updates without unlocking the bootloader? Is the how this handset updates or do I need a windows based app?
Should I download and install progressive updates from March till now, flashing one after the other?
Currently she's disabled automatic updating due to fear of another brick
