POLL - Do you use Prime in Toilet ? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Yeach, I use my Prime in Toilet every time am there. Yep. No shame at all here....
And what about you ?

Yep, it annoys my wife too because sometimes I am in there for like a half hour. It's the one place in the house I can go and not be bugged by her or the kids.

Best place to use it!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

Do you use it with a case or naked? Hopefully you guys at least have screen protectors on it lol.

I sometimes use it while I'm on the toilet (it's all fun and games until your legs fall asleep), but using it in the toilet just sounds dangerous!

Why not its to big to drop it in the toilet! LMFAO a phone on the other hand!
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

i do. tablets are faptastic!

LOL!
Look at the poll - we have 1 liar - hahahha!

No. I don't want to infect my $500 tablet with poo particles. Seriously guys....POO PARTICLES. Thats what my android phone is for. Much more discreet for looking at reddit/gw. POO PARTICLES!!!!!

Lmao, same here nyahaha

Same here..lmfao. she'll be like you don't need that n a drink to go to the bathroom. I be like yes I do. Its the same thing as reading a newspaper in there..lmao did it with my Ipad, n now continued the trend to my prime..lol

You all know out of all cell phones randomly swabbed by people using them, over 75% showed signs of fecal matter bacteria.
Clean your phone that goes by your face once in awhile, and wash your hands.

I'm always taking it to the toilet. And just now I was taking a bath with Prime. It's great to sit in the bathtub and watch a movie.

Bathroom is my sanctuary LOL

Thought you would never ask.... No (I would if I could get a wi-fi signal.)

Had the same post when the A500 came out.
And yeah i use it in the john all the time. I use a case though because of the tile floor. Def got to be careful.

I used to have a stack of mags and papers on a rack inside the comfy, now one Prime is all I need to breeze through Endgadget et al. Prime beat Kindle, hands down!

Its my own miniature vacation from reality.

I have no idea why but it just feels natural to take my prime on the porcelain throne with me. I've always taken my evo so why not a larger, faster, thinner and almost lighter version lol.

Liquipel I777

Has anyone sent their Galaxy S ii(I777) to Liquipel? I know it's not an option on their list of phones but they still let you send your device. I sent my device on Friday and will receive it back this week, you guys interested in knowing that if it actually works? Ill post up a video of my Galaxy S ii I777 getting ''Wet'' on.

Update! I just posted a video on my Liquipiel-ed Device.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-MQEXOVMok&feature=youtu.be
Looks interesting but since I got my very first dumbphone I never had problems with getting water on it.
It opens up possibilities, but nothing I need at the moment.
Passing it on to my foolish friends though, so thanks for that!
No problem!
So it makes it water resistant but not proof right?

I saw a product similar to this years ago when it was still in testing, and I thought it looked awesome. (Showed a guy playing with an iPhone 3G underwater).

Wasn't there a video recently of a guy with a GSII that he put in a bucket of water and called his phone? I seem to remember that it lit up and displayed normally.
Yeah I've actually been waiting to see if this catches on.. Good stuff!
sent from my Galaxy SIII ...haha jk, I FOiLed ya!
I want see more reviews as its really new. But This is real. And does work. Here is how.
Hydrophobic nanocules are applied via vacuum. Thus coating the outside AND INSIDE from water molecules (which are bigger than the nanocules) thus can't get in and create a conduction.
It is rated itx-7 meaning it is waterproof to up to 30min at 1 meter (3feet) depth... Jeez. So i wanna go swimming with it

Its not meant for warranty purposes.. This is just for anyone that wants to protect their device from water damage.
Im sure it voids the warranty..
*edit* .. I think they are also trying to get in with (somebody.. I forget, but they mentioned it at CES).. so that phones come with the Liquipel protection - which is a great idea but than the suppliers end up losing money because of not having to replace asany phones.. Not sure how it all works but somebody loses potential mula

i played with this stuff at CES this year. It was Fascinating! They used the stuff on a Napkin and had it sitting in a pool of water. When you pushed the napkin around in the water it never got wet and just rolled off (unless you were extremely harsh with it).
Quite impressive to see. You could also see the water interacting with the screen as it splashed against it (showing that its not just a "fake" cover)

Today I dropped my CDMA E3D to the WC in public toilet. It immediately sank and I wasn't going to rescue it (imagine a guy in a public toiled digging in WC with a stick searching for goodies).

Yea it does, but I'm not really upset, I practically wasn't using it since CDMA network is not available in my country. Don't ask me where did I get it then, it's a long story.
Well, at least my GSM E3D is fine and it's on my table, not somewhere deep in ****.

Dude buy a tranny from a wrecker for like 1/4 that price. Usually you get a year or 10k warranty with them. I've had friends do this and 3 years later they are still running strong.

Considering they've already taken the time to take my tranny out, disassemble it, and diagnose it, I'll give them the business. I am very aware that I could get a cheaper and possibly better deal elsewhere, they've already put a bunch of time into it and they should be rewarded. That's just my belief and of course, YMMV.

I would stick my hand in that toilet so fast....
I dropped my old Palm Centro into a cup of water, it fully submerged, and as I pushed my hand in the screen started flashing and then shut off. I took it out, yanked the battery as fast I could(if you had a centro you know how hard it was to pull the battery cover) and then let it dry for a day. The next day I stuck the battery back in and it powerd up nice and worked fine. The only problem was there was a water spot under the screen that dried and it looked like a little smudge spot

Me+Angry GF+Drunk=NOOOO

First of all, I baby all of my gadgets like no other lol.
We got in a huge fight after a super extended happy hour and my phone went flying through a 1/4' thick glass vase, embedding itself into the wall. Never knew she could ninja star a phone that well.
Anyway I realized at that point that these phones are beasts! The bottom whole right side of the "chasis" shifted up a bit to the top. Bottom right corner is bent. Chip in the metal dead center at the top and a TINY nick in the gorilla glass.
So now the right side of the bezel doesnt sit flush with the screen anymore and that is about it.
I am super impressed by the strength of these bad boys. I was more upset that this is a launch day phone with hboot 1.4(not taking it to sprint to ruin my unicorn). In the end all is well and she will be paying for my Gnex when it comes out(when ever it does lol).

I agree. Substance abuse. Violent outburst. Making excuses for inappropriate behavior. I am going to guess trust issues somewhere in the mix too.
These things never get better. I had a girlfriend like this once. After she got done beating me up, I got slapped with a VPO a couple months later. Apparently I was now stalking her... While the charges were dismissed with prejudice, I had to hire an attorney to motion for them to be expunged.
When I made her leave I wasn't there for her getting her things. She stole the batteries out of everything electronic. All the clothes hangers. Probably $200 worth of toilet paper, paper towels and laundry soap. Put some kind of plant that she called "our love fern" (it was bamboo :wtf: ) down the garbage disposal. Also she crushed up a box of Pop-tarts in the non-disposal side of my kitchen sink. The sick ***** even took the ice cube trays.
I personally couldn't give a **** less about your phone or how much you baby your electronics. Kudos that it still works, but the phone is only a few hundred dollars to replace. Move on before it gets worse...and more expensive.

GN2 Jokes

So I get all kinds of comments when people see me stretching my hands over a full five-and-a-half inches of gleaming phablet. From "that thing is HUGE!" to "are you on the phone or did you fall asleep on your flatscreen?" Honestly, I enjoy the attention, and I usually shrug it off by saying "yah, it came with a wall mount bracket and a remote," or "it's a case for my iphone," or "it came with a tiny little knife and a cheese-plate app."
Anyone else heard or told any good Note II jokes?

People have been stereotyping this phone as a 'Woman's phone' because there are 'demographics' showing more women using this phone than men. I don't know why, but that's what people say on DroidLife when there's an article about a GN2. In my opinion, that's stupid.

Funny things people say about your huge phone

So, my friend (she's an iZombie of course) just asked if my phone was the "S4 Note".
I know this probably more because of Samsung's S4 fragmentation with the zoom/active/mini etc. models but I have noticed I've gotten quite a few funny comments/questions about this device, and so far no where to share it in my favorite XDA section!
Some of you must have a few humorous comments that you've received, post them here and share the laughs.

I thought it was funny... wife didn't think too much of it... lol
A buddy of mine saw my phone for the first time and stated; "I see you decided to bring your flat-screen TV with you.... God Damn!"
Then he began to fumble around with his little IPhone (The smart phone for stupid people)...
Wuestsider X!

I occasionally get the "wow is that thing big" but alot of people around here either have a s3 s4 or note 2 so it doesn't really phase them. When i first got it is when I got alot of comments because it was still so new. A friend of mine asked me to see it (when a hot girl asks for your phone you just hand it over hahaha) but she is tiny, by tiny I mean 4'10" and maybe 110lbs. Well it truly looked like she was holding a tablet. Haha. That's when I saw how big it is. But I can never go back to a smaller phone now.
People: "how can you use a phone that big?"
Me: "I'm used to handling big things."

here lately, there are more note 2's or s4's than iphones at the hospital so not as many comments as there used to be.
I get it all the time at the university I work at. Big screen tv, 80's boombox, table for our food. I just wait until one of my coworkers tries to show a youtube video, I go to the same one, and then put my phone next to theirs. That usually quiets those types of people.

Best comment yet by some random blonde woman.
How can you even use that, its so big... my reply its not hard if you are already accustomed to big equipment.
I was out eating hibachi for lunch yesterday and the the chef was talking about an old commercial and he seen my note on the table and told me to look it up on my Galaxy tablet!!
