ICS roms are beta at best, I wouldn't advise flashing one.
There is CM9 which is AOSP and there is Samsung leaks, all need ICS bootloaders, search and read before you even consider flashing any of the ICS roms.
how to get ics bootloader?? will it be automatically there if i flash a ics leaked rom??

Depends on the rom, stock ones will come with ICS bootloaders, you *may* need them first for CM9. Also if you want to go back to gingerbread from ICS you will most than likely need to flash back to the old bootloaders from this thread.

I'm trying to flash a stock Rom onto my GS2 but i have a question. Does each ROM include a kernel with it or do i have flash a kernel first and then a rom? And does each kernel have certain roms that go with it or can i flash mix-and-match different kernels and roms?
Are you talking about stock roms or the modded ones in the dev section? Each rom does have a kernel that goes with it, however i wouldn't flash a 2.3.3 kernel on a 2.3.5 firmware.
In any case, the kernel has to be flashed at last, after the ROM
I'm talking about stock roms. My phone is on 2.3.4. If i flash a ROM, do i have to flash a kernel?

No, they already come with one.

Roms have to be specific to our device to work. There are plenty of roms running right now on our phone. More are, I'm sure, being ported over. You just need to give it a while. I'm sure we'll have plenty more roms coming this way, just need to be patient.
I already have CF-Root kernel and CyanogenMod 7 on my phone. I'm looking for to flash the official ICS, but should I flash a NEW stock kernel for ICS? Should I go back to my GB stock kernel before doing that? Thanks a lot, guys!

There should be instructions on whatever page you download the ICS you intend to install from... Right? Follow them.
If you will push Android 4.0.3 or other Custom ROM on your current set up, it will over write your entire OS.
I'm currently on GB, do I need to install an ICS rom before I install a ported JB rom? Or can I go straight from GB (with doing a full wipe before hand of course)?

i have not asked him to flash bootloader
i said
ics bootloader is reqd for aokp roms 4.0.4 and jb 4.1.1
there are users who flash jb directly from gb roms and gb roms have gb bootloader so they went into semi brick and had to flash back to stock rom

You are probably confusing the OP. DO NOT listen to this guy.
Thanks a lot for the answers guys. Just out of curiosity, why is neerajganga saying an ics boot loader is needed? That doesn't make sense to me because I've gone from GB to ICS without ever having to touch the boot loader.

I think you are confusing bootloaders for kernels. But by calling it a bootloader you will confuse the OP into possibly screwing up their phone. I don't know if you need an ics kernel for jb. I'm just trying to clear up the misnomer.

Being what I just went through with my phone... I assured I was flashing an ICS ROM with a proper kernel. Then move up into JB. I had flashed a wrong kernel and wound up having to back track and redo allot.
May seem like more work yet taking it step by step sometimes in the end is easier. Just a word of thought from a noob who twice thought he bricked his phone. Yet now works great on CM9 thinking of moving up into CM10 soon.
The new versions of siyah and dream kernel are both ics and jb friendly may be more but these are what I use

neerajganga, I think you're in the wrong forum. This is for the ATT SGSII model I777, your sig indicates you've got an I9100 (though that confuses me because even I9100 users never need to flash bootloaders except in softbrick recoveries, just like I777).
Can i flash stock JB (I9300XXELLA) SDS Fixed Kernel in a ICS Stock ROM?
I just want to install the kernel on my ICS Stock Rom, is it possible or the kernel being JB will cause problems in my ICS System
Why are you still on ICS?
I'm pretty sure you can't flash just the stock kernel without the ROM. Update to JB and flash a custom kernel that has the fix, like perseus

I like the battery duration of ICS, also i ve read lot that JB drains a lot more battery and doesn't last as long.
You can't fix SD on ICS
