[File Request] Telstra Atrix Gingerbread SBF - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have this file still?
There is a link to a filesonic download of this file in the Atrix Firmwares Superthread, but filesonic is defunct now and so that download is no longer available.
The filename is:
1FF-olympus_emara-user-2.3.4-4.5.2A-74_OLE-20-release-keys-signed-Telstra-AU.sbf.gz
If anyone has this file still, it would save my atrix if you could upload it to a service where its able to be dloaded from.
Thanks in advance.

Sourced: Daywalker04 was kind enough to PM me the updated link

Could you put the file somewhere else, filesonic no longer supports downloading...

sorry for bumping an old thread, taking my phone back to repairs I'm in very desparate need of this file. Tried updating through motorola website but phone won't connect to software update

Please post recovery.stock.new.img. All Links Broken.

I'm trying to downgrade my phone back to AT&T 1.6. I've read just about every post on this issue and tried several recovery images. I either get stuck on Dell logo or get a black screen when I enter recovery mode. I see several references to "recovery.stock.new.img" but when I try to download the recovery file, the link is broken or the actual .img file in thew downloaded zip isn't called "recovery.stock.new.img".
Can someone please repost this file?
Thanks,
Christopher

YEEEESSS!!!!!!!! Finally! This is the file referred to on all these guides across several sites but all links are broken! This file worked and finally took me down from O2 2.1 build 8105 to O2 1.6 build 4399!
Thanks spences10!
Now lets see if I can make it to AT&T 1.6 build 6601 without issues!

any more link available of this recovery.stock.new.img, the megaupload link is not available for my area.
My Streak is getting into black screen during update.pkg through recovery or hang up at Dell logo screen.
Now need this new recovery image to help.
You need a proxy.
I live in Hong Kong and had the same problem. I used TOR, but it took me a long time before I found an identity (final IP) that wasn't already downloading something from Megaupload.
I miss living in Canada, where nothing is blocked.
thanks i needed this too!
my Streak becomes a Brick.... Would you share with me the file ? Tks a lot.

missing recovery
downloaded this recovery and it still bricks my phone and I have to use streak flash to get the phone back to fast boot it will only boot to 2.1 and about trying to get back to 1.6 please help!
@kanjimaster: Kudos to you for using the search engine and searching before you posted.
I'm going to make an assumption here and guess that you're needing to exchange your device? Dell and the carriers really won't care if you have a 2.1 or 2.2 ROM on the device as long as it meets the following two criteria:
1. It's a stock ROM that has no evidence of being rooted. This is ridiculously easy to accomplish since in almost every instance, you have to flash the stock recovery before you can flash the package. Simply DON'T root afterward.
2. The ROM matches the equipment. For example, if you received your Streak from O2, you use an O2 ROM. If a retail Streak you use a retail ROM, and so on.
Now if I'm wrong, and you want to go back to 1.6 for the hell of it, you may not be able to depending on how you went from 1.6 to 2.1 to begin with. Personally, I don't see the need to go back to 1.6 so....
Rom region isnt device region dependant.
There are downgrade guides from 2.1 -> 1.6 but they havnt been updated since they stopped being relevent.
Only thing i can say for sure is 2.2 -> 1.6 in one step simply wont work.
ya I had originally went from att 1.6 to 2.2 with qdl so I dont guess I can go back to 1.6 cuz i haven't read about anyone using QDL and being able to go back to 1.6

Correct, but if the Streak was being exchanged for warranty reasons the carrier would be within their rights to refuse warranty service because the correct ROM was not on the device. That was why I said what I did in my second point. Whether it is possible or not was never the issue.

[Q] Bell/ Telstra SBF

Can anyone send me a link to instructions of how to flash the new Telstra sbf on the bell atrix, I'm sorta new to this.
If you follow the instructions in the "flashing sbf" thread, and simply replace anywhere it says a file name with the file you downloaded then you should be good to go.
Thank you!

[Q] How to install Kies downloaded firmware?

After searching around in the forum, I have a specific question I cannot find the answer to.
I am presently on the overcome 2.2.0 Rom (P7510, XWKL1). The result of this is that, of course, it cannot be updated through KIES.
My Kies downloaded a file for upgrading my 7510, which can be found on the harddisk, and is XWKL1 stock for my Dutch region (PHN). The Overcome Rom is XAB.
In preparation for ICS (stock, coming in the next two months I hope), I would like to go back to the stock XWKL1 for PHN.
I am stuck as to the procedure though:
1) restocking with the overcome restocking will not be PHN as well, so Kies will not upgrade for PHN
2) I have found the firmware upgrade file on my harddisk, but is has no extension and therefor I do not know how to install this over overcome 2.2.0. How do I turn this file into something I can flash?
Who can give me the precise instructions here?
Hi I'm also looking for a long time to a Dutch ROM PHN csc
You'll have to use Odin and a stock firmware from samfirmware.com
You also have the flashing guide on the same site
I installed the ROM via odin but in none of the stock ROMs is the Dutch csc present.
** Bumping this **
As I have note been able to sort out what I wanted, I'll try again with this bump.
Specifically tryin to find the answer to question 2 in my OP:
2) I have found the firmware upgrade file on my harddisk, but is has no extension and therefor I do not know how to install this over overcome 2.2.0. How do I turn this file into something I can flash?
Have searched again in the forums but did not find the answer.
All files have some sort of extension. At least in my experience. It may not show but it's still got a file type/extension. On a windows machine find the file and right click on it and choose properties. It should show xxxxx.yyy where yyy is the file type/extension. Post what it is and someone will let you know what to use it with.
This is my best suggestion.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using one stinky finger.
The file really has no extension. I have showing the extensions turned on in windows, so it would show if it had one. The filename is: XWKL1PHNKK1XWKL1XWKL1 and giving it a .zip or .rar extension does not make it readable.
I'm at a loss then. I've never seen a file that didn't end with (dot)something. I'll look more into it and hopefully someone will help before it's lost.
Sorry I couldn't help.
If you see this it was sent using my GT-P7510.
When kies downloads a firmware it saves it in a file that only Kies can read, I would however suggest you just get it downloaded from sammobile site, as they have it there, you may need to register, but I do hope their file sharing issues are rectified and the links still work... Bloody SOPA.
You could however factory reset?
I could, but Sammobile does not have this firmware/CSC combination available for download. Do you know of someway to kickstart Kies into installing the firmware it has downloaded, so I can go back to a restoch and then force the install of this firmware?

Well like I said, back then the original firmware files would consist of 3 different files, the Phone/PDA/CSC, you just need the PDA file, Apparently they've made it easier now by making sure all you need is the PDA file and just to flash that file via Odin in the *not so obvious * PDA slot, It now contains the CSC/Regional of the desired firmware and the modem.img

Just a quick question, what is a Kies file format? Is it xxxx.yyy or just xxxx with yyy being a format or extention?
Or am I just completely ignorant on this?

As far as I know the format is somewhat like xxxyyy it's just a dump file, I haven't gotten around to waste time and figure what app works best on opening/converting, and plus it's risky since if the normalboot.img doesn't get flashed you may end up with a brick but I'm pretty sure its in a md5 format or a tar atleast.

Acer A200 root and unlocking mirrors.

I was given a stack of A200's and would like to update them to a kitkat rom I found, anyways All the roots and unlockers and utilities lead back to this thread (which I can't link) which has been updated in to an AIO but Dropbox is suspended the file, anyone have a mirror and posts for an update go rather far back so it's obviously dead.
So anyone have any working files, mirrors or an idea of where to start?

Samsung SM-J337PVPU1ARG3 Stock Firmware?

Hello,
So a friend of mine gave me his j3 Achieve to get unlocked. It has the FRP lock activated so I'm wanting to clear it by reflashing the original stock firmware to the device. However, I'm only seeming to find firmwares that are the wrong version.
I'm looking for the PVPU4BSJ2 varient of the sm-j337P firmware, anyone have a link to that?
EDIT:
So i got to looking at the PIT file from the device, and it reports the firmware version as J337PVPU1ARG3, but yet the recovery still says J337PVPU4BSJ2. So i have a feeling i need to find the PVPU1ARG3 firmware, but its nowhere to be found on the net, unless i want to pay for a subscription to some bs firmware site.
So if anyone has this version of the J3's fimware please let me know and share. Otherwise I could use some help figuring out if im even right about the version. Ive included a link to the PIT file and pics of the recovery menu and the back of the device.
I'm using Heimdall v1.4.2 on Linux Mint 19. It will sucessfully flash all the firmware images except for the system image, it keeps erroring out saying it cant open the system.img file. I suspect the image is too big (idk why since its stock, maybe I just need to use ODIN)
PIT File and screens: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VSVoLtHK5d-Sm3ja8hy_X4WJakJfvEgu
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!
So I may have found the correct firmware. I found samsung-firmware.org and it seems that they have the correct version I need. However they throttle the download speeds heavily. So a trick I found is to use the commandline downloader Axel on Linux.
Using Axel gets me almost 500kbps downloads speeds instead of the 120kbps that Firefox gets.
Link included below. Make sure to get the correct region!
https://samsung-firmware.org/firmware/pda/J337PVPU4BSJ2/
EDIT:
So I've tried the firmware above and the device is still stuck in a boot loop, and i can't see to flash the system.img image. Heimdall keeps giving me an error saying it can't open the system.img file.
I also discovered that in my PIT file, it says the firmware version is J337PVPU1ARG3.
So I've tried looking for that version and I can't find it ANYWHERE.
Ain't gonna lie I'm stuck on this one, so any help is greatly appreciated.
