You have to select reinstall packages, and it will go to the blue recovery again, then press reinstall packages again and clockwork should boot up everytime.
So i just have to keep on reinstalling packages until cwm works?? I think i will lose my superuser etc.. What zip file do i have to put on my intrnal card?

Once u are rooted you done need update.zip for root
What if i already rooted my phone using super one click root on my froyo 2.2? Do I still have to update? By update.zip?

After you used super one click root, delete that update.zip file that it places in your internal memory.
Then download rom manager, click flash clockwork-mod recovery and it should say boot into the blue recovery. In there click reinstall packages, and if it takes yiu to the blue screen again, click reinstall packages one more time and you should boot into clockwork from now on.
Ok thank you master and slave one more question do I still have to install the unzip thing from my internal sd? Or not a any more?

Since you are on 2.2, you need the modified 3e recovery. Then you should be able to get into CWM.
Or you can just use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=954509 and Odin back to 2.1 and not have any issues updating your ROM.
Reading all the guides helps alot with these questions.

The method I was giving you was for 2.1
Its easier to root from 2.1.
But the thread above should help
Another route around 3e recovery is to use a Voodoo kernel, because those have CWM baked right in. I recommend this because for whatever reason I couldn't get modded 3e recovery working.

Problem flashing clockworkmod recovery

Hello,
I have just rooted my phone and am now attempting to get a custom recovery on it. After rooting, I downloaded rom manager and selected flash clockworkmod. A message came up and said it was successful, however when I try booting into recovery it goes to the stock android recovery. Any idea on what I am doing wrong would be helpful.
Thanks
Your problem is that you can't install CWM via ROM manager. The success message you saw was that it downloaded an update.zip file properly, nothing more. ROM Manger is also completely worthless for our phones.
How should I go about flashing clockwork then?
Odin via pda

Read the stickies in the Development section, just so that you don't accidentally rush it and mess up.

Thanks.

[Q] Install CWM without ROM Manager

Is there any way to install CWM without ROM manager? I get a download error when trying to flash CWM via ROM manager app.
Is there a way I can download it and flash either via ODIN or stock recovery.
Please let me know.
Currently I have recover 2e because of being on version 2.1, baseband: T959UVJFD, ECLAIR.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.
Please read newb guide as your answer is there

In the newbie guide you will find what you need. Clockwork mod runs as update.zip, and as long as you have that file on the root of your sd card (phone memory, not external), you have cwm, and do not need to install via rom manager.
Edit: you can download the update.zip here http://sourceforge.net/projects/stockodinjfd/files/update.zip/download
And the newbie guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849028
Using XDA premium, you should be too!

[Q] cwm

flashed cwm recovery through rom manager on LG L3..if i uninstall rom manager will it affect cwm recovery..means will it remove cwm recovery..????
No it wont delete cwm
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
It will not delete the recovery but then without Rom manager you have to do cwm manually
we should polite enough to press thanks for everyone helped uS..
you are dead when you stop learning new things..
It won't affect the recovery, as stated above. I only use Rom manager to flash the recovery for me, then I uninstall it and everything is manual from then on.
I don't trust it. My first experience with it was a bootloop and back when I was a noob, I got so freaked out. It's also better to get used to manual recovery work because if you can't boot into the system one day, then you gotta boot into recovery and fix it yourself
