Titanium backup not running - HTC Rezound

So I had the free version of TI but theme bought the pro version. Installed the pro version before I uninstalled the free version. After I uninstalled the free version TI disappeared all together, so I tried refunding ti pro, but then it wouldn't let me redownload. Well I fully got that taken care of but stall can't run ti pro. It shows in market and app settings but no where to run the app. Market just gives option to uninstall and no icon in app tray. How would I get this thing working?

opps never mind... discovered that the "pro" from the market was just a license not the app itself.

[Q] how to make installed apps show in market?

hello mini fans~
having an x10 mini. question.
i installed apk apps.
transferred files from pc to sd.
and then used astro to install the files.
however, how do i make the apps show in the market??
i have the same problem, not all my app installed directly from the market are shown...
as for downloaed .apk i assume it will never shown on the market..
will it never ever show??
i do not have this problem of apps downloaded from app market not showing.
do you have appbrain? appbrain does show every app you have..
With for example titanium backup i think you can force market links. But never testet before, so I am not sure about it...
Sent from my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro using XDA App
Well i force market links with titanium backup & works just fine for me.
P.S. I use the pro version, don't known if that matter.

[Q] Gtablet Market pre-purchased apps

I purchased a few apps on my g tablet and re purchased a few I had already bought before realizing the market wasn't showing apps that I had purchased. I then did a test:
I bought an app
Removed the app
Used the market to try to download the app again
And the market wants me to buy the app AGAIN!!!
What can I do to fix this?
I'm running TnT Lite.
Does Vegan have this problem as well?

Are you purchasing an app for the first time? If you buy something for the first time, then immediately uninstall (within 15 minutes), then you returned the app. The 2nd purchase will be final and you will not be able to refund, thus it will remain in your library of apps tied to that specific Gmail account.
If some apps aren't showing, try this additional Market fix (in addition to the standard Market fix)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1020130
No I did not refund the app.
Example:
I bought beautiful widgets on my samsung epic.
Beautiful widgets does not show as purchased on the market app in the tablet.
So I purchased beautiful widgets on the tablet.
Now I re-flashed a ROM onto my tablet and market will not let me download beautiful widgets. It wants me to buy it again.
Make sure you are logged into the Google account from which you made the purchase. That's all I can think of.
I have purchased apps and have never had an issue like you've described - they travel to every tablet I log into and can be downloaded. That includes my GTAB with TNT Lite.
I honestly don't remember where I purchased them, but it was probably on my GTablet, most likely. I would also suggest verifying that the Google ID you used to purchase them is the ID being used on the GTablet. Also, my purchased apps always show up even before I do the Market fix.
Lastly, try this: https://market.android.com/account
You should see every app you've ever downloaded for your Google ID, including the purchased ones.
I decided to try Vegan since the market wasn't working with TnT, so I installed clockwork mod, reformatted the SD partition to 2048, installed Vegan (without the supplement) and tried the market.
Now the market remembers all my purchased apps, but the market was limited (not all apps were showing).
So I then installed titanium backup and did the titanium backup market fix. I rebooted and now everything is working.
I am choosing not to install the Vegan supplement because I read that the market isn't working correctly with it.
Hope this helps someone.

Market Says app purchased??

So i need some help
Im trying to purchase some apps and I had apks for them previously to test them out and now im actually trying to buy one and it says purchased on android market
so i tried clearing the market data and cache and such but no luck
and when i click install on the app it just says cant install because you havent purchased the app
you would need to flash a stock ROM.
I had the same issue, this is what I did:
1. NAND backup
2. Flashed rooted stock ROM
3. Purchase apps
4. Restore NAND backup

After using a stolen app (or "testing" as you call it) it will cause this issue even if you uninstall the stolen software. You can use TB to freeze the old market and market updater. Download an apk of an old market version, unfreeze market, and conduct the purchase of the app. Once done, unfreeze the updater and reboot, and it will then show as purchased and be correct. There seems to be no other way.
Basically get an old version of the market running. You may have to use TB to detach the app from the market too.
How can you steal something that isn't corporeal anyway?

If Reinstall the app and then use Titanium backup you can Detach it by long pressing on which ever app your trying to purchase by selecting Detach from Market, then uninstall it and look it backup on the Market!!
What I've done (and its worked for me) is to clear all defaults, cache and data of the app before uninstalling.
Try reinstalling the apk, and doing that first then download from the market and see if it workes for you too

You can go to the Android market from a computer and purchase the apps. They don't show up as purchased. I think this is the easiest way around it. If i helped hit thanks.
Finally got it working!! It seems that on old Market versions this bug did not exist. So I did the following:
Method 1:
1. Go to Settings\Applications\Manage applications\All\
2. Look for "Market" or "Google Play Store"
3. Click on "Uninstall Updates"
4. Now go to the Market (should be the old green/white version) and install your desired app. It should no longer say "Purchased" and Presto!!
But you have to be fast before the market updates itself to "Google Play Store" or you can freeze the "Market Updater" app using Titanium Backup so you can do your thing without worring of it updating to the new version.
Method 2:
Find an old Market apk and replace the current one. Not sure which version it works because once I purchased my app it immediately updated the market and didn't give me chance to see the version .Should be the green/white app we had before.
Hope it works for you guys too!

[Q] Buying an app previously downloaded from the black market

Hi,
I downloaded an app from the black market a while ago, now it's on sale in the real market and I want to buy it.
I uninstalled it but it shows up as "Purchased" on Google Play and when I try to download I get an error saying it failed because I haven't purchased it.
I tried breaking the market link (with Titanium pro), it didn't help
What can I do? Phone (Atrix 4G) is rootet of course..
Thanks
Try buying it from the website instead of the phone.

Clear the market data and cache. You might have to reboot. Also make sure that you are at normal dpi for your phone.
Absolution 3.7/Redemption ICS A2b1
Found only an option to clear search history. Also, what is DPI?
edit: ok, stupid question. found it, tried it and rebooting now
Cleared date, cache and search history
Rebooted
Got the "we're upgrading to Google Play" message again and had to accept the T&C again
But still, shows as purchased...
I did this with another app in the past and didn't have this problem. After I uninstalled what I got from the black market I could immanently purchase it on the Android Market. Maybe it's because of the upgrade to Google Play?
Same here:
When XDA posted the article Over 100 Paid Apps For Free On GetJar, I went ahead and downloaded few apps from there. Now I want to really buy a couple of the apps that I like and I can't.
I tried:
- install the apk from getjar, unlink from market (with TB), uninstall apk
- install the apk from getjar, link to market (TB), uninstall from device
- clean data/cache for the app and the market
- uninstall
- wait.
- Report to market that I did not buy it.
and still: after 2 days with the app uninstalled, the Google Play Market still says "Purchased".
What can I do?
I don't know even it insists on these 2 apps of many that I have, the others doesn't show as installed or purchased even thought they are on my device at the moment :|
Update:
The solution is to install an older version of the marker, in which the app appears as Not purchased, and can be purchased without problems, here is the working version of the market (com.android.vending-2.3.6.apk):

This WORKED!
Just for the information:
Google Market 3.5.16 fixes this issue definitely: now it will not show side loaded apps as Purchased in any case, like this apps installed via Amazon, GetJar, APK, Black market are treated as just "Installed" in the Play Market. You can uninstall them from the market, and when you choose "Update" from the Play Market you'll be shown the "Purchase" dialog to buy the app.
Great to see Google care about Side loaded apps...

[Q] How do market links/removing market links work in Titanium Backup?

I've been having Titanium Backup for a few months now, but have always been curious about what the "Market links" are.
So my questions are:
What are market links?
How do they work?
What does attaching an app to market do/creating a market link?
What does removing a market link do?

market links connect your app to google play store.
when your app receives an update market links helps you to be aware of the same.
its helps u get update info abt your app
if you are rooted, Using Titanium Backup (Pro) long click/press on the app you want to 'disconnect' from the market.
Then select Detach from Market. this will remove your market link but then you wont get any updates..

If I purchase an app or download a free one, will the application have to be repurchased/as if it has never been downloaded so long as it isn't attached to the market via link?

if you purchase an app the the purchase details are linked to your google account. so even if you reflash rom / wipe your phoone etc , if you log into the same google account it will automatically show as you have purchased that app.
Although for safety try not to mess with the market links of purchased apps..

Thank you so much with the fast reply!
One more question, when I download apps through the Play Store, and I go into Titanium Backup, I would expect an option in the menu saying "Detach from market", but they only have the "Attach to market option". this doesnt make any sense since the apps downloaded from the Play Store are already attached from the market. Can someone please explain this to me? Does the "attach to market option only work with sideloaded apps?
One last thing about Paid side loaded apps: Plants Vs. Zombies is $0.99 on the play store, if I side load it and atttach it to the market via a link, will I get updates even though it's sideloaded? Also will it appear in my app history as purchased if it's installed on the device? Will it appear as purchased if it's uninstalled from the device?
Thanks!

its showing "attach to market" because u have not installed that app from play market. you might have downloaded apk from somewhere and installed it separately(side loaded). Check other apps too that u have downloaded from play store have the same problem.

attaching market link should ensure that you get updates regardless whether the app is sideloaded or not ! i mean thats what attaching to market means ! no matter whether you are using TB or not if you have purchased app the it is linked to your google account that the app is purchased by you. Google is'nt counting on everyone to install TB and use the option of attach to market to get updates on purchased apps....

unfortunately only for the time beeing.. after a reboot the link is there again. Pretty annyoing as there are some devs patching their apps to crap until they don't work anymore. Got one of them and it was so easy to update all your apps, but you have to do it one after another 'cause this s**t app simply does not work when updated.
