Hi Guys,
I´ve got my SgS2 working on Cyanogenmod 9, but find the camera app very disappointing compared to the stock one. It was almost as good as a digital camera, fast, more settings, and much better resolution.
Can any one recommend a better camera similar to the stock one?
Thanks :cyclops:
Hello everyone,
I'm deciding which phone to buy and I'm searching for some information about Miracast support..
I've founded on wikipedia that the first phone that have this "feature" is GSIII but I can't find any information about that..
I know that Miracast is supported on Xperia Z, HTC One, LG Optimus G / Nexus 4, but is aviable only from Android 4.2.x etc but SIII is "officially" 4.1.2...
So, someone knows something about that??
Is possible to activate this option installing CM 10.1 (or other 4.2 roms) on SIII?????
Sorry for my bad english guys..
PS. I have a Nexus S, so i'm not a newbie
this is not a help section
Check out this thread. It has information regarding miracast.
It seems like a phone just needs to support Wifi direct and run Android 4.2 to work so the S3 should work.
The problem with CM10.1 is we don't have sources for the hardware, so there is a lot of broken features, you might need to wait for a stock 4.2 for it to work properly.

Thank you all and sorry for the wrong section...
So, as I presume, we have to wait until 4.2 was officially released.... but now I don't now if is worth to buy this model, or wait for something else.
I don't want the SIV, seems too much for me....
sorry again for my bad english..
due the S4 Active has the same camera hardware as the s3 and the note II, but, as already written, a much better cam app from 4.2.2 for this camera, would it be possible to migrate the app to s3 i9300/i9305?
any ideas?
if this question is not at the right place. please move it
thx alot!

Dear everyone,
I'm quite a newbie to Android phones and may I ask you guys for some questions?
I really love the design of Sony Xperia and I hope to get one, but I've read that the problems about sony's 'camera software' make their photos not as good as they should be. (Specifically, I'm interested in Xperia M reviewed in gsmarena.com)
So, does that means if I use third party camera software, such as Camera360 etc., I won't have to face the problems right?
For example, some say photos taken by 5-MP samsung galaxy core native camera are better than photos taken by 5-MP sony xperia M native camera. But photos taken by 5-MP samsung galaxy core camera360 are as same as photos taken by 5-MP sony xperia M camera360.
Did I undertand right?
P.S. Sorry for my bad English
Hi! The title says it all! Hope there's one out there.
Been a year and no one replying to this I'm on the US S3 and would love this camera
