how soon do u think we can get this for our vibrants?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877800
Probably as soon as you post your question in the Q & A section
I couldn't resist.
I saw this on engadget (spelled wrong) it was pretty awesome, and fast.

According to Engadget, it was just ported right over. Just like that. Very little modification needed. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw something within the week that we can flash and enjoy
That sounds pretty sweet. Can't wait.

Please put your questions to: Vibrant Q&A
Which thread in the development is for cm7 harmony, yes I have tried to figure it out (read and search), which one did it merge into?
Edit: For those who want to know it is the asop rom, I asked in a different forum and got a fast reply.
There's a cm7 thread in general.
Sent from Desire HD or Inspire 4G or whatever this thing is called via premium XDA app.
Um not exactly what I'm looking for but........closer, I guess cm7 is not popular huh, I'm using it on my aria and I love it.
CM7 is plenty popular, heck all the Gingerbread ROMs here are based off it's source tree.
The issue is the Cyanogenmod team isn't posting here and that is what would be required for a CM7 thread to be in the development section.
Since it's just "users" talking about CM7, the thread is in General and there are a few.
Again, it's all just users pointers to the ROM, stable or nightly and not the actual development team posting it so it belongs in General.
I'm going to install a new rom on a friends X8 having convinced her that the roms on xda are far superior to the SE releases.
But i have noticed that there are so many releases and different roms. And since i will not be able to help her update continously i need to flash a stable rom that won't give her any trouble.
Could you guys give me some suggestions on what i should install?
The rom should have froyo at least and i wouldn't mind if it was based on some cyanogen release, but thats not a requirement.
Thanks!
/Peter
FroyoBread is pretty solid.
Nice! Thanks for the tip!
I'll look into it!
Agreed... For 2.2 use FroyoBread and for 2.3 use GingerDX.
Why did I read your post with Herbet's voice?
Danmit, why this thread on dev section??? The DEV sections is not supposed to have such a thing, you should have used the GENERAL sections or Question & Answers section, this thread will be closed as soon as moderators see it!!! Where is your sense of goodness???

Yeah and we would like to see ... n00bs stop posting crap like this is development section. Use some common sense, read forum titles and also sticky topics before creating a thread.
Also there are various ICS roms, go and look.
I love to be flammed thats why I posted it over here, pfff made my excusses, so please delete this topic or place it in the Q&A section.
Nobody's perfect guess you flamers are

Paradoxxx has launched a 4.0.4 version yesterday. Since I'm using Resurrection Remix from westcrip I'll not change to any other ICS port. I'm sure westcrip is implementing 4.0.4 also very soon.
Good luck!
Maybe if you ask Samsung nicely there gonna put their best scientists to work and make a android 4.0.4 for the s2 in 6 months.
Read search and all will be found.
Defo not development thread closed.
Hey guys, I just rooted my Galaxy Note (from Rogers) and I flashed the new LiquidSmooth 4.2 ROM on there and the Jellybean 4.2 apps but I am have trouble with the music player (just stops working) and the phone restarts randomly (4-6x) a day. I was just wondering what ROMs you guys are currently running and if there are any that you'd recommend? Thanks in advance
I really enjoy the Black Star ICS ROM. I haven't found a JB ROM that I like yet -- too many problems. It's all personal opinion, however.
CM-9.1

I hate to be the wet blanket here... There's a reason these threads get closed quickly. What ROM works best for me, may not work best for you. Give em all a whirl and decide for yourself
OP as stated these threads lead no where, just jump in and flash to see what works for you, what is best for you, may not work for me...Thanks and Thread Closed.
And Sir questions go in the Q&A Sections as per Forum Rules
