Sony Xperia S cool smartphone in the UK - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

The Cool Smartphone, Sony Xperia S would be launched in the UK on 6 March 2012. Play.com is currently taking pre-order for this Sony smartphone on £449.99 (SIM free / unlocked) and free delivery. New Xperia S was officially announced last month and comes as the first Sony smartphone.
Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS (update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich), the Sony Xperia S smartphone sports a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard memory.

The Xperia S packs a 4.3-inch touchscreen Reality Display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine, a 12MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video capturing, and a 1.3-megapixel front camera.
In term of connectivity, there are HSPA, NFC, DLNA, Wi-Fi, GPS, and HDMI port. Other feature is anti-stain coating and access to PlayStation Store.
Dimensions of Sony Xperia S are 128 x 64 x 10.6 mm and weighs 144 grams.

I won't get one, found out too late. I took from them as well, but in orange, 28.50 per month, 24 months. I need more internet and minutes.

The Xperias from 2011 were all unlockable, i think the nxt-generation will be too...

I don't need the minutes, but like you, I'm with Orange and I end up paying less, for more, and I get a new Xperia into the bargain. Win-win, I call it!
Mind you, I'm drumming my fingers on the table waiting for it ....

Same here, almost leaving marks on the table. Also keep checking e-mails, if by any chance they sent email with dispatch confirmation. Doubt it, they gonna do it before like 10th of march.
