Can anybody confirm if the phoenix kernel in 0.71 is ext4?
Sent from my Dell Streak using xda premium
Why did you ask your question here and not in the ROM thread?
Because this is the Q&A thread. I don't like to clutter dev's threads with questions. The dev section is for roms, not questions.
Nop already responded via pm, so we're good. I actually misphrased the question. I was asking if dsc 0.71 would convert the filesystem to ext4, and was told it was still ext3.

Which 2.3 ROM are you using which does not have FFC support? AFAIK sweet honey supports out of the box and CM7 with a lib file (mentioned somewhere in the CM7 thread)

Ok so i'm running the stock ROM on my 3D but obviously can't overclock just looking for a stable kernel to flash

If your running the latest ota with 2.3.4 then you have the only working kernel until we get the source from htc.

One would think that a custom kernel would be found under development. I know virus had the ziggy kernel so just wasn't sure if the source code had been released or not. Using the xda premium app isn't quite the same as a PC.

Blaming the app?. Oh come on. Lol..
I can guarantee that when the source is released and a kernel is made its not going to be hard to miss. You'll see it everywhere.

Wouldn't it have been easier to tell me where it was. Some people think they're better than others
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
Its not that anyone thinks they're better than you, its just that you clearly have a problem following the forum rules, and its highly irritating to those of us who do. Questions go in the q and a section... your post is clearly a question, therefore that is where it belongs. By posting your question here, you are just opening yourself to being flamed by the community for cluttering the development thread with non-development BS. If you ask these questions in q and a, not only will they get answered quicker, people will be a whole lot nicer to you.

Guys...
Stop with the drama. Report the post and be done with it. There is no need to even reply to the poster.
Once reported, the mods will inform the user of anything they need to. Trust them and let them do their jobs.

There's a Q&A Subforum for a reason. If you post there people will answer you. Don't post in a forum and expect to get spoon fed. Everyone everywhere absolutely hates it. Also, posting the same question more than once starting more than one thread is completely unnecessary as well. Bump your thread every few hours if no one has answered and be done with it. Don't start multiple threads about the same question.

some people take the internet a little too serious. lol
Did you seriously necro a thread that's over a year old to just make a comment like that? Some of us don't take it seriously, but we hate to see random garbage (like this thread) cluttering up useful posts on the forum. /endrant

Here you go, you're going to have to flash this in Odin but I hope it helps.
You should use Odin 1.73+ if your going to flash it but that's just me,
you must flash back and start from scratch. PM me if you need help.
