i have xperia mini pro and huwaei U8800 with official 2.3.5. in this phone in setting>applications, it has a fastboot option. if i tick it, the phone boots up in 4 seconds !!!!

I think this is Not what he meant....
It is like an ultra fast Boot Not reboot in fastboot mode...
It is like you shutdown an htc phone they have fast Boot also and they Boot up really fast

Hi,
I think I have loaded an Xperia Ray img file into my neo V. Now I am not able to get any signal at all though interface looks the same. I verified this by installing PC Companion and it showed R800. Any can advise how I can recover the phone? Thanks a lot!
you mean boot.img? get one for neo and flash it

So I have an Xperia Mini, the phone is rooted, bootloader is unlocked and CWM recovery is installed.
I booted into recovery and followed the steps outlined to flash this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705255
I can't think what I've done wrong but the phone is now frozen on the 'Sony Ericisson' screen.
I know how to get it back to stock but anyone any ideas what I'm doing wrong in the flash process? I've tried twice now, with same result.
Thanks in advance.
Did you install the correct kernel for your phone?

Ok so I didn't. That's necessary? It won't work on stock kernel?
Will it work if I flash the kernel after the firmware?

Yes you have to flash the correct kernel. It's necessary.
If you already flashed the Rom via cwm, than only flash the kernel for your phone and it should boot. If not, then install the rom again.
Good luck.

Dude, did you read carefully where it says not to install on a mini or active with locked bootloaders yet because it needs to be tested? And your phone is an St15i not Sk15i
Edit: I see it's unlocked lol, my bad, but you need to install the correct kernel for that to work

Can you get into download mode? If you can, go to www.sammobile.com, download the stock firmware you want and flash through Odin.

Yes download mode works, when i flash for the first time with odin, it takes some time with registering and finding the right firmware right??
Anyway thx a lot, i'm glad to hear that my phone isn't fully bricked
I never do a backup again via rom manager, but how can happen this?

Rom manager causes things like this. It's incompatible with the s2 for some reason. Glad you got it sorted out though

....cause i dont have windows.
Or any rom to boot right from sd who has built in installscript ?

Use flashtool for macintosh
http://ul.to/6owdrs6t
waah, flashtool for mac works, but very poorly. Takes a lot of CPU usage, trackpad doesn't work very often, and it hangs a lot (using 10.8.3)
Also, the other tools you need don't work native on a mac, so the best way is to install XP in VMware
hmmm

Many Thanks. I had hoped that the phone rsap with no additional app supported. My mobile phone is not rooted, and I have unfortunately no idea about it.
