@EmoBoiix3 And developers of Cm9 Port For our galaxy ace i make the replace of the boot from the build of @maclaw For Galaxy Gio with our kernel and runs really great just i need to say the wifi doesn't work. Just A Issue i found i dont know if it has something to do with the replacement on the boot.img or do you need to change something.
I think Just take wifi modules and libraries from waylands cm9 and replace those with your .

YOu need to know programming - java, C/C++, android xml and need to have good knowledge of using Linux and it's commands. you are ready to begin if you know all these.

You dont need to know any stupid programming languages to make a rom...All you would need is the patience to extract roms.They are pretty self explanatory

xperiatized is just an xperia S themed rom
and is based on stock
gingercruzt is an normal xperia themed rom and based on cm7

gingercruzt if you want CM based and xperiatized for stock based, both are good.
Since the ace is not tegra or Nividia powered Chainfire is I think the only hope if it didnt work then nothing.

its cm 7.2 build giving 2260 benchmark score(without sd card read nd write benchmark ) with slaid mod fix, gps fix and lag free 3 fix used with 92 apps installed mostly on my sd card which is higher than any of the new roms available all of which i have tried on my SGA...........

Hi All, I have the Samsung Ace, GT-S5830D with the 2.3.4 Gingerbread and the baseband version is TLKI4. I've rooted it and unlocked it. It works well on the stock rom. The BIG thing is I want to REMOVE the stock Telus boot animation and put something cool in its place. Maybe a new good rom as well? Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance. Thom
I can help you getting rid of bootoff animation
Changing bootanimation is only possible in custum roms cause samsung on stock roms use a qmg file as bootanimation file
You can shut bootanimation off aswell and replace it but you'll get stuck in a bootloop!

OT: To fix hardware acceleration, we need a ICS Kernel which we dont have yet. We need the kernel for hardware acceleration, camera, and bluetooth i think. Everything else is fine. I hope we can get the camera to fix soon. School is starting soon and I want to take pictures for memory purposes with my friends and schoolmates.

If you build any CyanogenMod rom from source properly, it should give you a system.img file and a boot.img file amongst other things so we should get a kernel

Yeah I do think that JackpotClavin has stopped working on the 3.0 kernel unfortunately. Maybe contact team hacksung to ask for help... Also my dev team is working on getting android 4.1 onto all of out currently supported devices so I will keep you guys updated
