SOLVED
I have found that I provided my Wifi network with wrong password Just simple.
I`m sorry for my inconsiderate opinion. My fault.
OP
Hi.
Just flashed openOptimus build 2.202.1, everything seems fine exept Wifi isn`t working. I can switch it on, it also finds available networks, when I want to connect, after authorization it just disconnects, again scanning..., again disconnects... all the time in this loop.
Can`t find even any answer to it at original thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1208215
Is there any resolution?
Is anyone experienced such a issue?
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Kalnz
try changing the kernel to paulo's v6 kernel...this happened to me in franco .35 kernel
I flashed my phone with cyanogen 7.2 yesterday(it was running stock gingerbread 2.3.3) and lost network access. Everything else works fine ony there is no network reception. I have tried resetting the phone, flashed another rom (icslunar) but still no luck.Pls Help
Okey man, i will play Sherlock Holmes. So:
I wondering that you didn't read FAQ, Guides etc.... like me ;p
But also i think that you are NOT as tricky as me so,
if cyanogem 7.2 is a next version of 7.1 (which has OLD BASEBAND) it seems like 7.2 is for OLD BASEBAND TOO.
What is more you have some ways to fix it:
1. Install patch from mik_os from his 7.1 CM thread.
2. Flash old baseband because stock GB in LG i equiped with new one. >>CLICK<<
3. Flash rom for NEW BASEBAND like Nitrgen - it has very very good performace.
You choose, I suggesting
I am in very good mood today - chrismas ;p
Press thanks if you want..
Cheers
Ok got my network back by restoring previous baseband but data still is not working!
Ok, here's your problem.
When you upgraded to 2.3.3 stock gingerbread, you eliminated the possibility of any ROM based on the old baseband for .32 and limited your options to ROMs supporting the NEW baseband, .35.
If you want to switch to the old baseband so you can use those ROMs I suggest you use this guide but be VERY CAREFUL.
As for your data problem, go to Settings--> Wireless and Networks-->Mobile Networks--> AccesPointNames and check. If it's empty, you should call your service provider and ask them for your GPRS/EDGE settings.
Good morning everyone
Seems to be that my GSII has serious issues running his stock rom (continuous reboots, not-working 3g etc.). I tried several factory resets, but nothing worked 100% . CM fixes some of my problems, but the only full-working custom rom is MIUI, that seems to be stable and very neat. Despite that I still prefer the custom rom (yes I'm probably insane), or a more traditional one like CM and I really would like to understand what kind of problems can generate such a massive amount of errors and reboots.
Could be a hardware problem? MIUI works fine, I can't explain why I still got problems with other ROMs.
Sorry for my bad English, thanks in advance
Without telling us the version of the stock rom you are using, we can never give you any answers.
I'm currently using
2.6.35.7-I9100XWKDD-CL161513 [email protected] #2 Kernel
Gingerbread.xwkj3 Build
That's not the original stock ROM, just one I found (here on xda I guess...)
Is there some kind of hardware-check I can run by myself, just for exclude manifacturing defects?
if you want to check to exclude hardware defects, u could go to the dialer and press *#0*# .. it will give u a list of tests which allows u to pinpoint any hardware defects ( if it exists) .... but if the problem is with the 3g, you could reflash your modem..
Initial problems were strictly connected with 3g's use, after a few hours of use i've noticed slowdowns using sms, then it started crashing and random rebooting. That's the same reason why I initially switched from original ROM to CM. I mean, I know that Samsung's ROM is not the best one at all, but I can't figure why it's so instable on my device.

Click to collapse
As that the oldest stock rom try a newer one .

Updating: now my GSII works with latest stable Cyanogen, except for the 3g that's still not working. Should I reflash modem, as suggested by roophz?
That old kernel is known to cause random reboots.
Update to a newer stock rom.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Update 2: I switched from the old stock rom to the latest cyanogen stable version, then to a newer stock rom and then back to MIUI again. Still no life signals from 3g.
How is that possible?
Hi Guys.
I have installed a new ROM on my phone (Asced G300), the PAC ROM....sometimes it disconnectfrom the network and the no service message appaear and i can not establish a connection with the network until i reboot the phone.
Is this a bug of this ROM or i am missing some setting? This is the 5th time that i am installing a ROM and i`m very tired of this game...
Could be a bug of the rom. I know it's probably difficult to get stable non stock based roms for your phone. You might want to check with the developers of the rom to see if there's preferred settings or another modem to use that might work better with it.
which roms do not have wifi region code problem ?
aka have the option to change it in wifi setting or has 5 ghz wifi accesss point
i tried lineage x mod deodex but i had problems with it .
i am considering going back to stock with elitekernel and that is it but i am really do not want to go back to mm.
suggestions will be highly appreciated
