I was using my friend's Galaxy S and his battery use is showing Android OS, Android core apps and even every single application's battery usage. But my Ace wasn't showing any of these till today when I noticed Android OS and some applications I was using. Can someone explain why isn't Ace always showing these?
I'll post here until someone replies.

Please tell me what stock ROM has what I need.
Actually I found that when I rooted my phone these details (Android OS, certain Apps etc.) started to appear in the stock-rom 'battery life' menu that came with the phone.

Hi All
I have Tmobile moto Defy mb525, I tried to get rid of the tmobile logo, I used superoneclick and it works fine, super user then rom manager but i did not find moto defy so i used system recovery, i tried to update it form zip file but the device hangs, after many tries the phone dies, now i installed another tmobile rom and it works again
and this is the new infos, the question can i install any other roms or tmobile rom is my destiny?
Yes, you can. Just update to 3.4.2-155 for Barebones, Xd1, JBoogie3 LiquidArc/BluelessGinger or 3.4.3-11 for Pays 5.1.
But i don't know if you can go back to stock 2.1, if you already has flashed a full SBF.
Thanks for your help, no prb if I cannot downgrade it

Flashed JBoogie's BlurGinger today (based on Froyo Korea), and it's ****ing awesome! Even with blur, it's the most amazing rom i have ever seen. But i flashed today, then my I can be wrong
Will use it this week and see...

Rite now ur on which ROM?
MIUI has too much BUGs right now, CM7 is the best ROM for Defy.
BUT, with time, i think MIUI can be the most used, since they do a great job modding, theming, and developing their own apps.
CM7 has bugs regarding wifi and brightness. I'm currently on 177-005 nordic with Defy Cool&Clean MOD by trinacre, and I must say it's quite fast and stable. Scored a 1250 on Quadrant.
I got bored of CM7 and now I want to go back to stock ROM LOL .
Any firmware recommendations ?
Which firmware are the full packages ?
Well im using the KPH 2.3.4 stock

im using XXXKPD 2.3.4 Asian -- With The Myth Ics Lite
Baterry life - - 5 hour in extreme mode --- that means listening to music while browsing i had 3g on all the time
14 hour of normal mode -- that mean 3 hour doing one stuff in display and 11 hour with the display off - 3g on all the time.
haven´t tested without 3g since i have a 3g plan =P but it is hella fast like cm.

TheMyth ICS based on BUKS1 and I feel that it's stable and fast if u choose BUKS1
If u want to use TheMyth, u can try beta 2 full + V8 script (of course removing slaidmod in TheMyth ICS first) =))))))

I see thanks
Is there any way to make the stock experience more smoother? That's the only reason I look at custom rooms
I guess it's all about the usage you make on your smartphone and what do you expect it to do for you.
This is relative.
I prefer my smartphone to be stable, reliable and fairly customizeable (if that's a word). Custom roms are quite good, I think. It's just the need to explore and customize more... that makes us look further.
Long story short: know your smartphone limits, deal with them, and if you want a fresh start try new launchers, themes, ecc.
Cheers.
Or use custom stock roms
Or bareboners
Those are just a few apps and high speed

Dxkt7/xwkt7.blackhawk .
I prefer stock...u will have lots of issue when using custom one...
Now i use:
- Stock xwks2
- Convert rfs system to ext4
- Some build.prop tweaking
- Currently running without any init.d script!
Smooth, battery life is better then custom rom...

Hi
In this my first post someone can help me?
I need to fix a error from this rom
The battery is spent very quickly when shown a low percentage
Its annoying!
:crying:
The battery only lasts 5 minutes after the notification that appears of "connect the charger" and turn offs the phone
Thanks for your answers
Can use other FIREKERNEL as Black Hawk on this rom?
Sorry for my poorly english
First of all you have written, that it's Android 4.0.4 in title. But it's a2.3.6 ROM, that confused me

Try to calibrate your battery by deleting batterystats via CWM or just dowload the app "BatteryCalibration" from PlayStore. I'm not using this ROM, but it seems like android 4 eats up more battery than Gingerbread.

You CAN'T use these 2 kernels, cuz they're made for CM7 ROMs, so they won't work in Stock ROMs. But you can use "BatteryExtender" by LibiSC, I'ver never tested it, but it seems like it's working great and has a great improvement in battery life.

Battery Extender is the default kernel on this rom
:S
I know that i cant use 2 kernel
I meant that if I can change it to blackhawk?
:silly:
Well it's in the kernel man. Update it to latest 1.5 version and it'll be solved though 1.5 version is non-oc.
