Hello everyone,,
I own a p7510 (galaxy tab 10.1, wifi only), and i am having a issue that doesnt seem to be known.
I have a white line on the upper left corner, that goes from the left until the middle of the screen. And it seems to rotate along with the rotation. I mean, if its in portrair, and than i change it to landscape, the white line in the corner stays there.
Any ideas of what could be wrong?
Thanks a lot,
Silly question but may be pertinent, does it show up in a screenshot? Is it non rooted stock tab?
take a screenshot and a photo so we know what you're talking about. Also, give more info on your device (which ROM you're using, how long the problem has been happening, which apps it happens in).

Well, one thing is for sure...and it's good news...it's not dead pixels. If it were, it wouldn't rotate with the screen. Unfortunately, as the previous posters said, we need more info, (and a screenshot,) before we can say anything more.

Anyone else get random line flicker on the bottom of screen when rotating screen sometimes?
Only happens in the stock Honeycomb launcher and with the animations turned on, of course. Happens to me on the original firmware and on the touchwiz updated firmware.
It's just like one or two lines. Usually they popup when I rotate sometimes they dont but rotating a few times will trigger them.
It happened once with Transformer's water live wallpaper.
Happens to me, too. I get a couple of green lines when I rotate the homescreen.

Anybody else? Anybody get this on stock ROM?
Issue 1:
In a few app windows (like Where's My Droid Power) the window is cut short... the menu window is in a smaller size window than the full screen of my Atrix. There is about an inch of blackness from the bottom of the screen to the bottom of the menu, and about a 1/4 inch of blackness on each side of the menu. Anyone else have this issue?
I would post a screenshot, but...
Issue 2:
I can not send emails through the Gmail app. They just sit in my inbox. I tried sending a screenshot to my computer so i could post the menu issue, but alas it is stuck in my outbox...
Another issue Im having is that no matter what my display settings are set to, the screen dims after about 5 seconds, and shuts off completely after about 10 or 15.
These issues need to be posted in the Alien thread so that KennPenn can see them.

I cant post in the dev forums yet because I dont have >10 postings :-/
Once I get to 10 I will post in Ken's Alien thread.
I didn't even know that was a rule. Kind of a stupid one if you ask me.
Hey all,
I posted a video below of the problem I'm having with the CM7 lock screen not unlocking. This is the Lens lock screen that's integrated in CM7 and it will not let me get past it. I've tried rebooting, battery pull, wipe cache/davlik/format system and reapplied the ROM in CWM and still, nothing happens. I even tried a flashable zip of an ICS lock screen for CM7 from the Themes section here and this is still happening. The phone is a Motorola Triumph running CM7-TG-Reloaded ROM with a build date of 12-30-11.
Any ideas other than wiping it out completely and starting from scratch?
Thanks!
Have you tryed to grab the lense square higher then the square really is? I get the same bouncing effect when I put my finger in the middle of the square and then try to unlock it: I can't go down anough so the square bounces back up. So perhaps there is some kind of miscalibration which make your lockscreen think that your finger is lower on the screen then it is.
Also, try if you can get past it when you have to answer a phonecall. During that phonecall you can navigate into your phone and chance the lockscreen settings.

Hello Guys,
Auto rotation on my gt-p7510 is not working, when it switched on it is in landscape mode then when i turn for something it goes to portrait mode and stays on, no matter what i do, its not back to landscape, when i turn upside down, it turns upside down in portrait mode but doesn't go to landscape. i have switched off auto rotation and switched back on, i have followed few suggestions from the forum but doesn't work. tab has been factory reset still no use. when i do horizontal calibration the pointer moves only length wise it doesn't move to the other side, so i presume something wrong with the accelorometer and has to send to the samsung guys, Does any one of you guys have any other suggestions than this. Thank you very much for your help guys.

In my case was portrait mode not functioning.
I've flashed a lot of rom's got it stock and sent to samsung, since it was not a software thing. The repair report just said "upgrade firmware" but it was impossible since i had the last one.
Well 1 1/2 week without it but now it's ok!
Thanks for the reply,I have booked for the Samsung repair, hopefully it'll get it fixed. Thanks.

First of all, I'm new to Android phones and this forum I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, if not, let me know.
I've purchased a Cubot One, knowing what I can expect and it really works fluently, but it comes with an issue, annoying sometimes.
Left half of the screen flickers (in a very exact way, just left half), depending on what it's showing. For example, desktop 1 shows the wallpaper and icons flickering, but if you go to desktop 2 that effect disappears. It never happens in an open app, except if it's showing a bitmap or icon, and not always. If you're in the block screen it never happens. If you're using, let's say, Whatsapp app the screen is perfect, and in most of apps.
I make a complain to the seller and waiting for their diasnogtic, but I thing it could be a software issue, so I'm writing here. Could anybody make any suggestion?
Thanks
