Will there ever be a forum that doesnt allow stupid people in?
Replace the capcha at registration with an IQ test - xda is sure worth the effort for joining... and deny registration below something like 110 and rather forward them to apple

Did I hear a little frustration?
Didn't you tell me for some weeks that we must always helpfull and not sarcastic? Or do I mistake you for someone else?

You could try asking instead of demanding. You might get a better response.
Mod it yourself... Or check out root tools for animations and boot screens

HAHA... that would scare the piss out of me every time I turn on my phone, then I'd be like... oh yeah.
I agree though, asking is better than demanding.
If I knew how I would help... I really like that too
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
if someone does listen to his demands and mod it, can you also please change the text around so its relevant, such as Snapdragon processor to Tegra 2 and Cyanogenmod to Gingerblur and Android 2.1 to Android 2.2
^ just the 3 that I noticed quickly
thanks in advance though

Love this one, been using it for a while.
Here you go...
The images have been resized to fit the Atrix.
Credit goes to Frysee for creating it. I just resized.
Someone may want to edit the images to add the Atrix info to them.
It still has the Nexus info.
Got a thread up now with the bootanimation on it
I have modified the Nexus Boot animation, it now shows information for Motorola Atrix, Don't know if its 100% accurate, Used all the info I could find, but it looks nice
*EDIT*
Fixed the problem, it now works fine!

[Q] HTC Sense 3.0 on SGSII?

Hi y'all
Really loving my new SGSII but i've got to say i'm a big fan of the HTC sense UI, so my question is would it be possible to port the new HTC sense over to the SGSII?
Please don't flame me for asking this.

Seriously.
I searched "HTC Sense" in this forum and got 32 returns. Now I have to click on a bunch of threads like this one to see which one actually has the answer in it.

FYI, Touchwiz 4.0 is a lot better than HTC Sense 3.0. Don't believe me?
Here's your answer from an ex-HTC'ian:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/i4lf6/after_using_samsung_galaxy_s_ii_for_a_week_i/c20xl8y
Putting aside the petty squabbling over touchwiz being better.
And yes I am aware there are the Launcherpro widgets (which look too fake)
Is there no developer out there that can help us get this on the SGSII please?:

thanks in advance

It's great to see some progress in porting sense to other devices it's a shame that it doesn't have the 3d effect when scrolling between home screens but still looking forward to some genius getting this working on our SGSII.
JC
Thats what I thought too mate - If it can work on a darn LG it should be able to work on the SGSII!.
I got so desperate I even tryed to install the LG APK on me SGSII - lol! - needless to say it didn't work and just borked it requiring a reflash lol
Theres loads of great custom ROM's for the SGSII - Just not any with this type of bling!
Please please devs - I'd be willing to pay for this theme

Thank you DFT Team.
Does Anyone have a news on Release Date?

.
Nice news =) cant wait!

Thank you. You cotulla truly are amazing. I have seen first hand good things come to those who wait I.e. The hd2 & android. I just want to say take your time. I will wait and be very happy when you are done. Unlike everyone else I don't give a **** when you are done and I don't need progress reports. Seriously people I thought everyone knew. Don't ****ing ask for ETA it just pisses him off probably he even works slower. One last time COTULLA ROCKS!

[Q] What ROM ?

Hi,
I'm sorry to ask that but I don't really have the time to search among all the ROMs available. I'm looking for a ROM based on the official but with some optimisations.
Does anyone know a ROM like that for S3?
Thank you.
For example I used NeatROM for SGSII once.
Sorry but you need to do the reading yourself, and if you don't have time then you really need to make some

Just pick any rom in development section. No need to read a lot, just read the instructions

OT: People here will mock you as questions like this are frowned upon and possibly against the rules!
God you're just so puerile.
I believe you didn't read the OT part..
You will not get an answer as best ROMs threads are against the rules..
P.S.: You question insinuates that we have all the time in the world..so be careful about what you write..
I use fox hound 1.4.4. This one is best for me but not for everyone.

Except that I never asked what was the best ROM. And I'm sorry if you understood this, that was not my intention.

I know what you are trying to ask..but even then Optimization is a subjective term, what would be highly optimized for me may not be optimized for you. So no one can answer this question other than you..
If everyone starts replying to your question it will lead to an unprecedented flame war....
You just need to read the OP of 4-5 ROMs..all the ROMs have the optimizations listed in the OP itself along with screenshots...It will not take you more than 15-20 minutes..
I hope I am making myself clear now!
Please flash and see which best fits your needs. As you can see, threads like this do not turn out well.

Need a vibrate motor

I replaced the glass this weekend and ended up breaking a wire on the vibrate motor. A search for a replacement part has only yielded a supplier site in China from which you must purchase in quantity. I suspect the motor used in the Rezound is the same as the motor used in at least one other HTC phone. Does anyone know if this is true?
Pretty sure there's another post asking about this in this forum because I remember wanting to post an inappropriate reply, just as I might want to now, and having to refrain.

Yes, there was previous post, but no answer.
There was a reference about inappropriate posts in that one too - I think the inference scared everyone off

So now maybe I've scared everyone off from this thread too.
I saw the title of this thread, and then that feralicious had posted here, and there was little doubt in my mind how the thread was turning. I was right.
But seriously, (I'll be appearing all week), I thought the vibration was part of the battery .... wait .... googling ..... I guess not! I'm wrong! Well I was right with my first sentence.
Try repair universe I used it for my speaker replacement on my DINC. I'm not sure if they have it. Otherwise if I'm not mistaken the sensation XE had very similar internals.

Looks like the only motors Repairs Universe has are for iPhones...and those definitely won't work.
Still looking for recommendations...please
