Thank you. You cotulla truly are amazing. I have seen first hand good things come to those who wait I.e. The hd2 & android. I just want to say take your time. I will wait and be very happy when you are done. Unlike everyone else I don't give a **** when you are done and I don't need progress reports. Seriously people I thought everyone knew. Do you remember a test version Claudyfa released a little earlier than Mysterious? I've painstakingly tried for over 20 hrs only to "skip the initiating process" just as that test version did and, goes without saying, with no [email protected][email protected]" (to my knowledge, he is the one and only one who ever cooked a rom without the initiating process after flash that saves hard-reset-o-lics a lot of troubles^^")
Digging roms deeper, though helping me nothing useful about cooking, definitely helps me realize how god-like he is!

ANd, KK's ROms are what he likes to call LOADED. So you get a nice pile of shiznit to play with after flashing one of his roms.

Replace the capcha at registration with an IQ test - xda is sure worth the effort for joining... and deny registration below something like 110 and rather forward them to apple

Awesome....thanks for the link! I've known about Chameleon for a while now, but I didn't know it was a kickstarter project. I thought it was for OEMs only. Definitely gonna donate $15-$20.

It's your OWN device, but THEIR soft/firmware. It's as simple as that.
I just think it's stupid. NO ONE else does this but LG, not Samsung, not Motorola, only LG. Sucks that they were my only flagship option at the time of purchase

Told ya so.
I always check the XDA forums these days before buying a device. You can't just assume that you can unlock and root.
If you really want a G6 that's unlockable you should buy an international version somewhere instead.
Is sad, but, only OPEN EU can be unlocked. My G6 is Open from Chile and i cant unlock it too. If I'm not wrong, unlock the bootloader is guaranteed by law in Europe.
Next time you buy a phone research it first.

Actually if you get a pixel on EE/Verizon you can't unlock the bootloader either
