why on earth the at&t Lineup of SGS family always getting the same
problem over and over again?
i used to have an sammy's captivate and the SOD problem was very annoying!
a year ago i was intended to change cappy for his bigger brother the infuse 4g
but i didn't because more SOD problems.
is this a curse or someone in the at&t lineup is jerking all over the
hardware? ?!
does the I777 having this problem too?

I've never had an SoD of my phone unless I was messing around with something I shouldn't have in the kernel source code. (And no kernels along those lines ever made it to the public...)
So your saying that i should'v be Paranoid about the phone?
By the way is there any chance to put LTR Support in a rom?
Thats about it..
Many thankes!

With the LoC count where it is and the insane number of logical branches... I'm sure there's a few edge cases that still will result in it. It's unavoidable (and 100% understandable).

I never had SoDs with my Infuse either, except for the early days when I was unaware of the 800 MHz suspend limitation, or when I was too aggressive with undervolting.
SetCPU with a screen off profile that has a limit of less than 800 MHz = almost guaranteed SoD on unpatched kernels. But anyone who is rooted running SetCPU can install a patched kernel to fix that. The 800 MHz suspend limit issue doesn't affect anyone with a stock device.
I do recall that something about Widget Locker somehow causes SoDs (most likely because it mucks around with the lockscreen code), but again - that's not an issue with a stock phone.
i had SoD on stock firmware and i get it about 3 times a week on CM7.1 as well. it's the most frustrating thing about this phone. and that is saying something
Excuse my ignorance but what is SoD

It's Sleep of Death.
Meaning when you put the phone into sleep, it actually goes into coma .
You have to spank it a few times before it wakes up.
I had an AT&T GS1 that had major SoD issues. It's the most annoying thing ever.
Now my GS2 just has battery issues, where the Android system takes up to 80% of the phone's battery life sometimes.

Android System or Android OS? The latter is a known issue with the UCKK6 update.
Different SoC no prob. Check i9100 forums. Almost same phone and no problems with SoD

Reinstall using Kies Firmware Upgrade And Initialization
I did the following suggested by someone at At&T forum. It seems working. I am posting detailed steps here for anyone who is interested,
Please backup everything on your phone memory before you attempt this. This will wipe out your phone completely.
1. Open Samsung Kies as Administrator
2. Goto Tools -> Firmware upgrade and initialization
3. Enter the model name SGH-I777 (in all upper case letters)
4. Enter the Serial Number of your phone. This can be found under the batter.
5. Click OK. Then you need to accept the warning and it will tell you which firmware it is going to flash onto your phone. It will be 4.0.4. Accept that as well.
5. It will download the necessary files. At this point you can shut down the phone and remove the battery and re-insert the battery.
6. The while pressing the volume Up and Down keys simultaneously (Not the power button) plug the USB cable. Your phone should boot into download mode. It will display a message Downloading..... on the screen.
7. Start Upgrade button on the Kies upgrade screen should now be activated. If not, you may need to reinstall the USB drivers for i777 and may need to reinstall Kies.
8. Once you hit Start Upgrade button, it will start download the proper firmware from the web and then start sending it to the phone. You will see a progress bar in the phone as well. Sometimes it could give you an error similar to "DLL load failure..." If that happened, try change the Compatibility mode of Samsung Kies to Windows Vista SP2 and run in Administrator mode. This can be done by right clicking on Kies icon and selecting Properties --> Compatibility tab.
9. Once the Kies finish transferring the firmware to the phone, the phone will start installing it and once finished, it will reboot.
10. I also factory reset the phone after the upgrade by booting into stock recovery console. You can shut down the phone, press Volume UP + DOWN together and press power button without releasing the volume keys. Then select Factory Wipe and hit Power button.
11. I disabled all the AT&T bloatware anyway because I don't like them and use them anyway. I don't know that was the case because it didn't help me earlier.
Now my phone works as it used to be. 4.0.4 seems to have a good battery life even with WiFi switched on all the time. Earlier if I keep WiFi on for few hours it completely drains my battery. I am happy with my phone again.
Thanks scot070 at AT&T forum for the wonderful tip.

Hello, please help me.
I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant this after noon. I used to have a motorola milestone, but it has a stubborn physical damage, and died. That milestone, really, kept my life together. With all the rich apps. Then, like I said, this after noon I bought a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant.
At first, I successfully rooted it, then I successfully unlocked it too. Then, I must have made a huge mistake, and then it moved to a continuous boot.
I have spent hours and hours now trying to figure out how to save my 2 hour baby.
Right now, it is continuously loading the boot screen on and off. The odd thing is, when it is plugged into with a USB, the picture changes to a spinny wheel which also repeats continuously).
Can anyone help me?
PS. I can not go into download mode, or recovery as my device, apparently, is hardware locked.

Stupidly, I believed I Odin-ed a file named "T959UVJI6.rar". Which if I remember right, is a custom kernel. I never really understood the whole kernel ordeal. I used to have a motorola milestone, which, I would do all all sorts of things to with no problem. But, that never included kernels. And for the most part, it didn't have any hardware key lock.
I, think, I need to do the jig mod-y thingy.

I'm not sure how, because, apparently, my samsung's 3 keys are locked. I have tried so many times, but, it never works. Sadly.
Try to ODIN back to JFD.
Follow my guide (signature) and use my files.
To get into odin:
load odin, load the pit and tar (don't check anything, it does it automatically)
connect usb to pc
power down phone and pull battery
plug in usb to phone
hold in both volume buttons (keep holding) and plug in battery
if it show download mode after 5 seconds, and odin shows a COM# (yellow box) click start on ODIN
wait for the phone to finish... you will then have a stock JFD and you can start over.

Umm. At this point, with all my searching, I think I am missing something (mentally). Like I said, the 3 button combination never works. I have tried every combination I could possibly think of, every technique I saw, and held for every possible length of time; yet, I still got nothing. I believe I have one of those phones that are locked in that area. As I read, newer Samsung galaxy models are becoming locked.
That being said, I think mine is one of those.
Sadly.
Anyways, same as any of the 1 thousand attempts, when I (again) did those exact steps, my screen just continuously flashed a non-spinning spinney wheel.
Yours is a simple dilemma, complicated by the hardware lock... idk how but i remember there Was a thread about unlocking it.. just look for it, i think it wus in the general section

The easiest way I've found to get into download mode is to do this:
Take out the battery.
Hold down only the volume down button.
Plug in the USB cable.
That should put you into download mode automatically.

Yes, I have, actually. I found it really hard though. Mainly because the wires were way too small. But, the reason I gave up, is because the resistor is larger then the wire, and so, needed very precise soldering. I could've used the back, but, all usbs are different; and the ones i had, were very much different then all the demonstrations videos i watched.
PS I am actually buying a stick online.

Yeah, but from what I remember, that software, just forced the samsung into download or recovery mode. From there, then the person would just mod a file to change that. But, my phone wont even do as the force says.... in the first place... It has always, just stayed in the continuous boot phase...

Did you perhaps flash Gingerbread Bootloaders? If you did then the combo to get into Download Mode is Vol up and power. Try that?
Mine sometimes takes a few goes. What usually works on Froyo Bootloaders is to take out battery, unplug phone, hold down vol up and down with my thumb, plug in then put in battery.... usually results in DL mode.
Goodluck!

I wish there was a physical jig seller in Vancouver (where I live).
The button combos don't work on my phone. Sadly. It was the newly made models with the button combo block.
If it helps, before, when I could go into that option, I did it by using a toolkit and making it put me to recovery/download mode.
UPDATE! I had someone help me fix it, but he failed too. It now just hangs on the boot show thingy. (rather then flashing). Oddly, my cell can still access the computer, which I think is a good thing. As in, when I plug it while the screen stays put, my computers makes a sound. What could this mean? CMD to download mode?
As for boot loader, I highly doubt it. Since, I have had no reason to look-up what they are. ehhe.
So it's on a screen with a big yellow triangle or little cell/triangle/computer? If so, AWESOME!
Once in that mode, start Odin on the pc, then plug in... Do you get a yellow COM with some numbers show up? If so, load up the JFD tar in the pda section, the 512 pit in the pit section, repartition, and hit start... If that doesn't work... Maybe try Eugene's froyo that will not brick?
If someone got you into dl mode, sounds like you may not be hardware locked after all?
------
If the computer sees it you could also try adb to get to download mode. I'm not experienced with the program, but I believe you can get into download mode with it with only a few command lines.
Which Odin are you using? Sometimes v3 and v7 play differently with my phone.... Try the other?

Nononon, it is stuck on the galaxy text boot screen thingy. In other words, just like before, but this time it isnt flashing continuously. If it was the big yellow thingy, oh thank god... i wish.
As for that someone putting me in hardware lock, from my understanding, the only way to unbrick a locked device is through a jig. That being said, I searched up where I live for anyone with a jig, and to my luck, only one group had it. So I went there, and bam, it can now somewhat access the computer.
NOTE: I am going to receive a built jig in the mail in a few days.
From what I know, having a locked device, means, a jig is a must.
As for ADB, I am looking all over for instructions how to use that, but, I can't really find any through ones.
I'm not sure if it is a bad thing, but I used Odin Mullti downloader V.4 and EZOdin.
I am really unfamiler with this samsung galaxy.
I did everything possible with ,y Motorola Milestone.

IDK why this program is SO overlooked, and everybody, always advises to do the long redundant method, this program has saved me alot of soft bricks, plus easy restore to JFD
Go to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=954509
Also make sure you DL and Install MS .NET Framework 4 Link: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851
Then download it, ODINS inside the program already, its as easy as it gets, U cant f--k up, unless your an idiot! Just follow the instructions to the "T" it will automatically put you in DL mode and will provide the two files you need to restore your T-959 to stock Eclair JFD from there you can start to re-MOD, although I suggest you start reading everything first about modding and flashing first, including building a DL folder to stash everything you may need to fall upon for the future plus what you'll need once you've mapped out a plan to Mod your phone with whatever ROM, themes Kernel's, ETC!!!

Ahha, thank you for the suggestion, but, that wont do. It was my original fix, towards getting into recovery/download mode. But, for some sad reason, it doesn't work for bricked devices. In simple, it just says device is not find. Ironicly, the computer makes a sound with the cell is plugged in, but, thats about it apparently.
Oh yes, the cell has to have USB debugging activated. But, since I have a bricked, it can't go within the phone to find it.
NOTE: it has always been in debugging mode.
Update is being pushed out slowly, but I figured out a way to forcibly do it in kies.
It simple. Do not plug in your phone while you are doing this.
First, make sure you update to the new version of kies. Then go to the menu bar> tools, then firmware upgrade and initialization.
Click until you get to the screen that asks you to input your S/N and Model name of your phone. Enter in these details. It's behind the battery.
Once you do this, a screen will pop up asking if you are sure you want to upgrade to CSC:LE5. AKA ice cream sandwich.
At this point, plug in your phone and it'll go through.
Your welcome.
EDIT: as of today, Monday June 25th 2012, at 11:00 AM, the update is officially available through KIES. If you don't see it now, a popup telling you to upgrade will appear by tomorrow.
EDIT 2: DO NOT UPDATE TO ICS. IT SUCKS. AND IT IS NOT NEARLY AS SMOOTH AS GINGERBREAD. If you hate android lag, the update will almost certianly piss you off. If you have questions about how its different, just ask. I already downgraded to gingerbread again. ICS = Not missed.
EDIT 3: (copy pasta from a post I made)

No. I assumed that the update through kies updated the bootloaders, so I found a stock 2.3.4 one click odin executable W/ Bootloaders in the development section and flashed that. Make sure you factory reset and clear cache in 3e recovery before you do so. New bootloaders can't take advantage of the Jig. I also didn't want to find out what flashing gingerbread on ICS bootloaders would do my phone.
I find 2.3.6 has battery issues, and I find 2.3.4 to be THE most stable release.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20229527&postcount=46
The file you want from this page is the I777UCKH7-CL503881 Stock Binaries, and you want the odin3 one click download. It's one of the ones with the warning text in red.
To restore your phone to stock 2.3.4 once on ICS do the following:
1) Boot into 3e recovery (power + volume down + volume up)
-Wipe Cache
-Factory Restore
2) Pull battery
-boot into download mode (volume down + volume up, then connect phone to computer while buttons are simultaneously pressed)
3) Open the one click executable. Make sure it recognizes the phone
-It will say [COM8] or something. Just make sure its green.
4) Flash it. It will work. after you boot up into gingerbread, If the system freezes after the At&t logo just go back into 3e recovery and wipe cache + factory reset again. It will work. Trust me.
Note: ODIN is a very tricky piece of software. When you click flash, it will probably not work and say "failed" or something along those lines. Try it again. It will work. It took me almost 20 tries to get the flash to go through. Also try flashing it as soon as you plug in your phone (not even 2 seconds after it is recognized). That seems to work. Don't be worried if it never seems to go through.
Note: YOU ARE FLASHING BOOTLOADERS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL. If ODIN DOES NOT WORK OR YOUR COMPUTER SHUTS OFF HALFWAY THOUGH, OR ODIN QUITS, NEVER PULL THE BATTERY FROM YOUR PHONE. As long as you see a downloading sign on your phone, your phone is ALWAYS recoverable. Just open up the odin executable again, make sure your phone is recognized, and restart the process. If odin freezes halfway through the process, always restart odin, NEVER touch your phone. Your phone can always be written to while in the download state. This is how 99% of all bricking happens, because people always feel the need to turn off their phone in the middle of the process.

Nice trick by the way op
Thanks for the trick. One question - how long did it take for you (or for anyone else who decided to use this method)? It's been stuck at the 90% value for about 2 hours for me, and I'm beginning to get a little worried, since these things don't normally take so long (according to friends I've asked, anyhoo). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about 90% fnished downloading/extracting? or 90% putting it on the phone (with the green bar going across the phone)?
If it hasn't started putting it on the phone yet you should be fine to unplug it and start over. If you remove cable while it's actually putting in on the phone, you will have problems. not sure which kind though. maybe just a soft brick. you should be able to get back to download mode though.

I apologize for not being specific - 90% putting it on the phone, I presume, since that green bar you mentioned is there (with the "Downloading..." underscored with a "Do not turn off target !!").
Assuming this is beyond the norm, do you think I have no choice but to risk the soft brick?
EDIT: Oops, it's actually a blue bar. My bad. So it's safe to disengage then?

Yeah, if it's been at that point for that long, you will have to risk it. do you have a jig? if you don't, invest in one. they are worth having around.
Let us know if it works out. I'm crossing my fingers for you.

No, I don't...I'll be sure to purchase one as soon as possible.
As for the phone, I shut down my computer and unplugged it - received a "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue" screen. At the moment, I'm looking around for a fix. This seems to be a soft brick, though, so I'm optimistic. If there is anything you could suggest for me, it'd be greatly appreciated.

see if this works: hold down both volume keys at the same time. then, while holding them, plug in your usb cable. hold the keys until you see a screen with green text. you will then hit the vol up key o get to download mode. then you could start the whole process over again through KIES.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but when I enter the imei into the s/n blank it tells me it's not a valid serial number. I've tried entering the actual s/n and I get a weird message in what looks like Chinese. Any other suggestions?

Yeah, the IMEI won't work anyway.
That weird message was coming up the day that Samsung said their servers would be down (yesterday). They may have figured out that people were getting the "recovery" firmware that way and disabled it. Who knows.
So any word if that method will work now?

I tried this method but now my phone only shows the "firmware upgrade encountered an issue error." I tried doing the recovery process on kies and tried to install the firmware again but to no avail. Does anyone have an idea how to work around this?

You could try the one-click downloader in the Download Repository. The link is there, but the file is still uploading to dropbox. You'll get a 404 error until the upload is complete. Dropbox is really slow uploading things. Link to the Download Repository is in my signature.
Kies is crap
I've been trying and trying to download from Kies but when I plug in my phone it says I'm up to date and when I try to do the manual update it tells me my serial number is wrong and to try again...any suggestions?

i9300 running stock JB rom (Vodafone NZ)
The phone's been lagging a bit for the past few days and occasionally freezing for a few seconds at a time. Figured there was something slowing it down and I'd do a factory reset when I got the time. Woke up today and the phone was showing the splash screen.
Holding the power button only serves to reload the splash screen.
Vol UP + Home + Power only reloads the splash screen
Vol DWN + Home + Power surprisingly brings up the download mode page however, not sure I want to try flashing over a ROM with the phone in it's current state and without clearing caches etc.
Connecting to a power source starts the battery charging animation but freezes on the spinning loading circle
Same results with memory card/sim removed.
Any ideas what it could be? Another trip out to the Samsung repair center for me
Update 1
Attempts at flashing stock ROM with Odin failed, no luck using any repartition settings
Update 2
Phone went into Samsung today, the guy pressed the power button and instantly said they'll have to replace the board. This means there was no chance it was a software issue and also that this is a fault they're familiar with. This is the second time I've had to have my phone repaired. In the ~5 months I've owned it I've had the screen replaced (faulty), the charger port replaced, and now the whole motherboard. I'll update this when I hear back from Samsung and the repairs completed - hopefully under warranty.
Update 3
Phone repaired by Samsung. It seems the issue was definitively hardware related and unable to be fixed with any form of ROM or software.
It may be related to the SDS issue that has affected many of the 16gb models of this phone. However since it seems you can get into download mode maybe your phone can still be saved. Download the latest firmware for you region from Sammobile and try to flash that through download mode.

Thanks mate. How much of a potential issue would not being able to clear the delvic cache/factory reset be when installing new firmware?
Also, yes this is the 16gb international model
It is generally advisable to wipe data/factory reset before flashing anything but since it seems you cannot do this, this may be your only option. I'm not too experienced with the s3, but from previous phones my experience is that not wiping just causes FC's and stuff but nothing much.

Try to flash the latest stock rom with odin and make sure you have latest drivers installed before flashing
So I've just attempted to flash the stock ROM onto my phone. Odin's giving me a "There is no PIT partition" fault. Can I click re-partition in Odin or load a PIT file?
2nas.com
Provides :
1: Integrates Unbrick / Flash ROM / Root All-In-One.
2: Use the same protocol as ODIN, but 2nas is more user-friendly and easy-to-use.
3: Cloud based database to flash your android phone with correct files(ROM, etc)
4: Automatically download necessery files to flash, and check them with SHA1, it's safe for your phone.
5: Store all downloaded files in local disk, under a good directory structure, it's usefull when you have several phones.
So my phone started restarting randomly. It will only show the Samsung logo turn off and do the same thing again. Its not rooted and I am pretty sure that its not from something I installed recently (Everything was from the play store and no immediate problems after any of them). When I did the hold volume up,down and power it would only keep on restarting still. But when I just hold volume down it comes to something else that asks if I want to install a new rom. So I was wondering what I should do. Install a new ROM and then revert back ? or will that not work? Also I have a extra I717 with a broken screen I could swap the insides and see if that would help. Also I don't know much about rooting and stuffs. Lemme know what I should do guys! :highfive:

Take out the battery. Insert the battery without touching anything else. Does it just power on itself or does it stay off? If it does turn on, you might have a stuck power button. Let us know what happens
did that too :/
I did that too. It would turn off and on again but only show the Samsung logo then restart again. Also I have the case removed so It cant be the power button being stuck and I have tried the battery thing still nothing.
Whatcha mean? It would turn on by itself once the battery is inserted or you would have to press the power button. Once the battery is out and then inserted back in, it is not supposed to be powered on by itstelf. If it does turn on by itself, then the power button is most likely pressed in.

I have a I717 doing the same thing. (Eg. device boots and seems to function for a about 2 minutes locks up and reboots. )
As the device was stock when it started having this issue I figured it might be an OS issue Factory reset to it would leave the device booting to optimize applications then reboot. Checked power button checked it was clean.
Also staied on when in recovery without issue.
As I figured this was an OS issue I installed CWM
Downloaded and installed SlimBeam
Device booted and completed instlation and operated for about 2 minutes and rebooted.
Device will does not have any issues with in CWM or Odin. I
I read alsowhere that the internal SD-Card filesystem might have become corrupted and need to be reformated however I have yet to find instruction or confirmantion.
Anyone have some ideas?
.
to Tal Star.
1. When you were in CWM and were about to flash, did you wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache then do the flash? Or just flash?
2. So either os it would do the same? Stay on for about two minutes, then reboot? Would it reboot back into the os and do the same?

So right now you can boot up into the os and it will turn off in 2 minutes? or just given enough time? Will it boot into the os each time? I dont think ill have an answer for it, but i bet someone that does will want to know the same things to possibly narrow it down

Naw it starts optimzing the Applications and lasts a few minutes reboots locks up and starts again. SlimBean completes the process and makes it all the way to the launcher but after a same amount of time it reboots. back to the launcher. (Slim bean has a resonable number less Apps and that's why it completes or is my best guess)

I really wouldnt know about that. Hopefully someone will come by and help you out. I wonder being on the latest recovery would help if youre not already and then doing it all over? Hopefully someone more experienced will chime in.
Could be a corrupt download.
Again, I always flash rom 2 times. You can get different reactions from 2 seperate flashes. 2 time seems to get a more solid installation.
Wait your 10 and reboot.
Still think its a power button issue. It can act normal but still be the problem. Hows you battery?

Did the same steps you did with no effect either... could it be a power management problem ??? :silly: This is getting me nuts...

I dobut it's a download. I use CWM to flash from an external SD card. However I did try reflashing like you suggest with no change. The battery is fine as far as I can tell, like I said it will stay online in recovery on battery for what seems like forever.

Nope I am working on the one I have with the SIM Card out & SD card out.
happens
So what I done so far is taken out the sim and sd card. Took out the battery put it back in and when I power to turn it on It vibrates (like it normaly would when it starts) then shows Samsung logo turns off and loops. I tried doing the hold volume up down power thing and it does not work. But what does work is when I hold volume down it takes me to a custom OS thing. I don't know what that is but I cant get there. So maybe put a custom OS in and then revert it back?
So I used Odin and put 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Official Firmware but its still doing what it was doing before.Used 3.07 and it said it passed fine. Should I try a different rom or something else? Also the first time it starts up after installing the rom it goes past the logo to the ATT ball animation logo freeze there and turns of then when I turn it on from there it will loop at the samsung logo again.
You can try the firmware upgrade and initialization feature in kies. It will return your device to the original factory firmware, software, and settings. If it still loops after that you have hardware issues.
Ok so I guess im making progress now. After I put the stock rom (Different one from befor) It DIDNT BOOT LOOP well it did but only looped 3 times then stoped. Also there are 2 Samsung logos. the frist one was just normal logo ( same one I was having befor ) then the screen turns off and shows the same logo but this time its a little bigger its white with a blue glow! ( Made it further this time but still crashes afterwards) BUT now I can actualy get into the Manual mode. I did a wipe data/factory reset in that mode which didnt help i wiped the cache too. Still didnt help.
Now in manual mode my computer does recognize that something is connected to it now but it tries to configure it and keeps on failing. And so samsun kies cant connect to it either.
But from where I started at its a improvement
My Note is doing the same thing too now, but I know the reason why. I was trying to install clockworkmodrecovery so I would be able to upgrade to jellybean and I think I flashed a kernel that was meant for rooted phones (pretty dumb of me I guess). So now the phone is stuck and I'm going to try to install the original jellybean 4.1.2 for rogers and hopefully that will fix it.
As long as you can get into Odin download mode, your phone can be fixed.
So here is the story:
My phone was running slow and the battery would drain out like crazy, so I read through a few forums here and there and decided I would FACTORY RESET my phone. Now might I mention, my phone was previously rooted by using a method from galaxyroots2 ( I picked the one for GT-I9100 ). I had ROOTED IT TWICE before. Both times work flawlessly. Now this time, for some very odd reason, my phone is stuck on a Screen which displays "Samsung GALAXY S II GT-I9100" with a little YELLOW TRIANGLE at the bottom. I pulled out the battery a few times but to no avail. Now I Am able to access DOWNLOAD MODE, but I cannot access the other mode where you hold the VOL button up rather than down. I'm kinda out of ideas, I figured this would take me 5 minutes like the last time. The KERNEL is a JEEBOO Kernel, I used Odin v1.85. I haven't performed any updates since it has been rooted.
NOW MY QUESTION IS : HOW CAN I GET PAST THE SCREEN WITH THE YELLOW TRIANGLE? and please dumb down things as much as possible. I'm not the greatest when it comes to these sort of things.
SO now I am currently trying to troubleshoot using a little something I found on cnet, with "How to go back to a stock Android ROM on Samsung Galaxy S2" as a title. I have to download the official firmware first, which will take a bit of time. Update in a few hours.
Solved the problem. Here is what I did
1. Google search "android firmwares" and go to the first link ("androidfirmwares"-dot-net)
2. Go under the Galaxy S2 tab and select Firmwares. Choose the most recent one or the one that works with yours (Mine was MS4)
3. Unzip the .tar file in the compressed file you downloaded
4.On your phone, hold the Vol button down with the home button and the power button simultaneously to open dowload mode
5. Goto Odin and click on the PDA button. Select the .tar file you just downloaded
6. Press Start
7. ???
8. Profit

I think u flashed something wrong, u said u have a gt-i9100 but I think jeboo kernel is for another galaxy s2 model. So that should be the reason why it didn't boot.
Well but now u found solution so never mind
Next time be sure to flash the right things, in worst case u can be bricked without any way to get back to life
