Could someone upload or give me a link to stock apps/themes?
I've tried the Xperia S theme, but it's to much agressive theme, and now I can't install another theme or come back to the stock one without some apps stop works
There's a list of stock apps I need:
DefaultThemes.apk
DigitalCLockWidget.apk
MusicWidget.apk
Phonebook.apk
SemcCameraUI.apk
SemcGallery3D.apk
SemcMusic.apk
SystemUI.apk
textinput-tng.apk
widgetfavouritepeople.apk
(the principal ones are in red, because it's not so usual to put it on themes)
Please, I really need that!

Thx in advance
so sad. no one want to share
Chill, padwan! Someone may help. And a great idea this thread too!
it depends on your purpose
Hey guys I'm trying to change the calendar Icon. I opened with 7zip changed the icon deleted the META-INF folder resigned it and tried to reinstal but didn't work anyway help anyone?
"porter master", ha ha ha!
Stock APKs
I use Cyanogen Froyo CM6 v3.03 ROM and miss some of the original SE apps, like the original clock widget and the alarm app.
It was nice, that the next alarm-time was shown below the time.
I've got the stock camera and phonebook, dialer to work, the rest no, but I'd LOVE the stock calendar, alarm and theme.

I've got the stock 2.1 SE camera, and a much newer (Arc or Active) phonebook, and Walkman. Copy these to your SD card, then use root explorer to copy them to system/app (click rw top right of screen) then paste, then change the permissions to:
x x
x
x
Thanks to each guy who uploaded them to XDA originally. Then reboot immediately. The stock SE camera only takes photos, not video. Walkman works great. The phonebook and dialer can be tricky to install on some roms, if they don't appear you may have to delete any other phonebook installed then they appear, if you've trouble just ask. These work on all Gingerbread roms so far!
Wow, thanks a lot, bro!
Did you got notes, stopwatcher and timer? I really miss these ones...
Edit: I Just found them =D

I'm going to try this on MiniCM7. If this works, I'll kiss you. I'm thanking you anyway, because you're trying to help and that counts.
OK, I've tried to flash them, but I can only get into ClockWorkMod and it won't flash them. I think that's to do with CWM and not the zips though.

OK I've tried with others ROMS and xRecov and ClockWM and none of them will install those apps. Has it worked for anyone else? Which ROM, kernal, recovery?
Installed on my GinTonic 2.4.6, but FC right after I tried to open it. I will see if I can extract them from Paul-xxx's Sonystyle Rom.
is walkman the original se music app?

The thread where I found it said it was from the SE Walkman (Android of course) phone. It has worked on every rom I've put it in. It has to be placed in system/app via root explorer, and it's permissions changed to :
x x
x
x
Then reboot and enjoy! I like that app because it's easy, useful and stylish!
No luck either

I've tried the same, but CWM will not install it due to some script
Also tried to copy the apk:s itself and put it in system/app giving them permissons and then installing them. But no luck either, android force closes timer, stop watch and notes.
Have installed TrackID, Wisepilot & SE sync and it worked as a charm.
Running MiniCM7 Pro v18 by the way.
Succeeded to install & run timer, stop watch and notes in SonyStyle v12, but couldn't change the time which is pretty essential on a timer or stop watch...
I would like to have the original timer, stop watch and notes because I think they are great.
The only apps that I've correctly got working on a custom rom are:
- Camera (but not video)
- Walkman (yes official ^^)
- Backup and restore
- Xperia timer
- Phonebook and dialer
- 2.1 album viewer
I've been trying hard to get more to work. I tried copying framework.res and other stuff but they just cause reboots.
I have extracted few apks from 4.0.A.2.368 you could tried it out in older firmware and see if it works. Let me know if you want anything else.

Guys
I searched the Sony Ericsson category in the new market app on my phone yesterday, and you can already install the new widgets and apps from the category. Just browse the category on your phone to get some of the new .368 apps :-D
I have also provided a link on the website to show you what's available. Thouh their might be some updates which are available in this post, and not on the market itself.
Both sources help
https://market.android.com/search?q=sony+ericsson&c=apps&feature=spelling
Life Contacts is available
Data Monitor
Various new timescape extentions
Live view
P.S.... @ShyamSasi hope you don't mind be posting this, did not see a point in a whole new thread, let me know if you want me to put elsewere...thanks
Cheers

I haven't tested it myself since i'm using the new build. I would think the Home.apk, ThemeManager.apk and DefaultThemes.apk.

Well not all the applications are in Market for example the updated Home Launcher, New Timescale UI, Data Monitor Widget etc.
The update has same kernel and android version so installing all these apps/replacing other default apps will "update" my already rooted 2.3.3 right? Will try this weekend.
Thanks for posting the apks!
photo widget is missing from my widget list.. guess PhotoWidget.apk is not compatible with the old fw
Cant install the weather widget and the theme manager,,why?
Sent from my Sonyericsson Xperia Arc
Try to move them all to /system then change permission. Then move them one by one to /system/app. Others will have to be replaced. See if that works. Will try myself this coming weekend.
Edit: When I said all, I mean all apks including framework. Framework. jar should also be in its right folder. You'll know it is right because it will ask you to replace the file. Framework.apk is important for home, themes, xloud, widgets to work. Reboot after you've done that.
So if I want xLoud, I'll lose my current theme?
Yes because it is activated in settings menu which is in new framework apk. Just mod it again after you are done.
Are there other .apk I need to use xLoud or just the framework-res.apk?

Yeah, I've also tried this... DO NOT replace your framework-res.apk from 3.0.1.A.0.145 with the newer 4.0.A.2.368 version. Your phone will get stuck in a reset loop and unless you have an unlocked bootloader, its a huge pain to get root again.
I ended up just using the 4.0 firmware though because I love the new weather widget so much
with 4.0 firmware the phone is running faster w/o root compared to 2.3.3 with all bloatware frozen with tbp.
Hello All,
Has anybody OR can somebody port the stock SE GB launcher to MIUI?
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance.
SE GB Home.apk attached
push to /system/app/Home.apk and set permissions to rw-r--r-- on root explorer, reboot, ta dah. tell us if it worked !
Tried as suggested. Can't add widgets/shortcuts etc. Get FC when I try.
very interesting ... no leads tho ...
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
Copy this to you system\app\ and set permission.
View attachment Launcher2.apk
Just check this thread. You will get it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1043489
It is basically a timescape addon for MIUI. But it will install our stock launcher. I have personally tested it. It works.
I have successfully ported LewaOs to CM7.2 for my X10i.
But I need to make some changes, like changing the home launcher and music player and some other apk's ?
How can i do that ?
Help anyone ?

Remove the default one and add which ever you want to the same folder.
If the current launcher on bootup is z apk delete that apk from system app folder and include the apk of the launcher that you want
Ohh many thanks for gives an idea
I really miss the stock motoblur clock app. I just have a question that can I install that clock app on my CM7? If yes, please post the apk
I think that all the blur apps are not compatible with any other rom, i mean they will not be installed in any other non-blured rom (i am 99% sure about that)(ex. i tried with no luck installing a touchwiz app on cm10.1) but you can always give it a try.
I dont use GB so i cant provide you the apk, but its easy to find it. just download a blured rom, then open the flashable zip (with a browser) and find the apk in the system apps
