[Q] Unlocking sim after bootloader unlock - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys i got a pretty straightforward question...
i have unlocked the bootloader and everything is great but now i'm in the need of unlocking my phone... how would i do that? could i relock bootloader and go to stock then unlock it by code provided by my carrier? and if yes would i be able to unlock the bootloader again afterwards?
EDIT:
Oh and by the way inside s1tool it says SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE

bump... nobody that can help me?

Xperia Ray SO-03C bootloader unlocked but no fastboot

I have just booloader unlocked my Xperia Ray SO-03C Docomo version by setool and testpoit method.
Before that, I got bootloader unlock allowed= no AND Sim network locked(Netwok = unlimited)), and after successful with setool (R changed to r in the log, and Finished line), I still got booloader unclock allowed = no, sim card network still locked
I rooted and installed CWM already. However, I could not enter Fastboot for flashing kernal and img files.
Somebody helps me.
I have the exact same problem :/ somebody? Help?

According to me, if you have a phone, which is locked to a network(SIM-locked), then only way to remove SIM-lock and unlock bootloader is to pay.
WotanServer provides that service, not sure about the price.

Bootloader Unlock - Patched

Hi all,
I used Davinci sim-unlock (now called 4SE) and it asked if I wanted to unlock the bootloader as well, I said yes.
I know know that this method is a patch not a real unlock. The sim is unlocked and that's fine.
If I try to unlock the bootloader using flashtool / similar method, will that restore the simlock on my phone? The phone did originally have a sim network lock. Some methods do seem to relock this and some don't, I don't know in my case. (the official Sony method doesn't work, it thinks it's unlocked already because of the patch and the relock option doesn't work either)
Thanks

Question

If my phone is locked Can i still root it ? and if its locked how do i check if it is ?
First of all, locked how? SIM-locked, or bootloader locked? I assume you didn't unlock the bootloader using the HTCdev.com website so follow this tutorial to root and bootloader unlock it.

bootloader unlock allowed: No

hi! is there any way to unlock my bootloader even if the rooting status bootloader unlock allowed says no...? thanks in advance...
Simple answer: no. If it's a must-have, go return it and buy one off-contract.
It is possible that in the future, someone will find an exploit to unlock the bootloader, or at the very least, do something similar to Loki on the Galaxy S4 (get custom ROMs/etc without an unlocked bootloader).
Sure sucks.

I bought one Factory Unlocked without ever being on a contract and it also tells me no, so it looks like it's not possible to unlock the boot loader on any American model.
