Gallery++ is the best for CM's but official gallery is much slower...so, is this one faster??

Gallery can be compared on its look rather than speed as speed totally depends on how much crap you put in memory card. These are miui stuff.
Try quickpic from market. Quick response. More options.

I have installed all of them, and working fine except the Locker. I m on MS2ginger 3.0 and my stock lock is still present, and is there a way to disable the stock or override with MIUI locker? I really liked that locker.
On MIUI ROM When phone is locked..if u just press Headset Button your Music player get start..it is a best advantage of this MIUI Music player...
So if installed this Miui music player on MSGinger 3...can i use above facility

Did you check "Enable MiLocker" in setting of this app?

It's working well with me. But it has a bug. You can't move the app from app drawer to home screen.
can i make miui player as my default music player?

I shutdown my phone over night with MIUI Locker installed and working. Started my phone this morning... no lockscreen. Enabled/disabled Miui Locker... nothing. Unintalled then intalled it again and it works. Fix?

want to share with you a beautiful and (perhaps the)latest android music application(I believe this is designed for honeycomb) that I came across just this morning.I have installed it on my mini that runs on NAA's CM1-RC1 and it really works great.It should work with Owains gigglebread also since the minimum requirement seems to be 2.2(Froyo).
A good samaritan has already reported that this works very fine with mini pro as well!
Check it out and enjoy.Just install and dance away!
And do take the effort to press the 'thanks' button as a token of your acknowledgement/appreciation.

Just tried this on CM6, works fine, fast and smooth (way smoother then winamp), and no graphic clipping issues.
Has a simple widget that shows Song Name, play/pause and next button.
The MIUI Music lockscreen also works for this one, so has all the featured I need and does so in a smooth and fast interface, thanks for the share!

You can use MIUI Music, it has an option to choose which directories you want to play, this app does not.

For default icon, i have no idea because i liked CM9 icon more than sense icon. But for sync contact images/details with facebook, you can use friendcaster and sync your contact. And maybe you might need to edit your phone contact to join them with friendcaster contact.
Friendcaster does the same thing that FacebookForHTCSense did in stock ROMs.
For Icons, you can change icons in drawer and home with some launchers ( I think ADW and also GoLauncher ). With Trebuched and Apex this isn't supported. You could try with Ninjamorph ( in Play Store ). It says that can change apps icon. I've never tried it, and I can't try it right now ( Bricked Legend... ).

No, default launcher for CM9 is Trebuchet which only work on ICS. From my opinion, this launcher is better than ADW and LP. But if you want, you can find other launcher for ICS in google play(Apex, Nova, etc).

No, ADW an LP both are compatible with ICS. You still can use it as your default launcher if you want. Its just not installed by default because CM9 is using Trebuchet launcher.

I've had my S3 for 2 weeks now, sold my HTC One X for it, should of done it earlier tbh! Anyway one main bug of mine is no lockscreen controls for Spotify, when the HTC One X had it....does anyone know how a fix around this??

Stock? I do not believe the stock rom allows for music controls outside of the stock music player. Not really a bug just an oversight.

It's 'cause Samsung's TouchWiz lockscreen doesn't support the controls, whereas the AOSP one does. A workaround is to enable pattern/password etc. security on the phone which switches the lockscreen to the AOSP one, and should show the controls (at least it does for me with PowerAMP and pattern lock)

doesmt work on my S3 ;/
I get lockscreen controls when using pin code unlock. This happens on Omega V10 but it should be a Android feature and should work on stock roms too.

Just tried it on mine and it works, but I use Holo locker with Nova Launcher for my Jelly Bean theme I have, it's a bit of a pain to get lockscreen controls so I will just have to bit the bullet... Thanks anyway tho!

This worked for me. I used the PIN option because it wasn't working with the Pattern.

Not true at all, I use Doubletwist and i have lock screen controls on my Note 2 stock
People need to stop thinking you cant do anything because you have a stock rom.
Doubletwist gives me lock screen controls , Spotify however does not, so the problem is with the app and not the stock rom

I'm on 4.2.1 and my Spotify is usable from the lock screen. It automatically creates a widget when spotify is playing. I use Omega v44 rom and nova launcher.

I had the same problem with spotify when I switched from an iPhone to a S3.
I wrote "media utilities" , provides notification controls and widgets with cover art. Was a fun little project and works pretty well with apps like spotify and pandora which have not added all of the controls yet.

Sorry should have added a screen shot. Used "Media Utilities" for spotify controls and "Widget Locker" for lock screen replacement.

I've accidentally found a link of a player which is not available in market. I installed it, and seriously it's good. UI is based on zune of WP7 and settings have very good options. Try this!!

I'm using Noozy on my Samsung GS3. This is the absolutely smoothest and most enjoyable media app I've tried on this phone.
just use Zplayer, works perfect and is polished nicely.

POWER AMP have this feature like ics lockscreen
Widgetlocker
Use widgetlocker (a free app in the play store!). With that, you can design your own lock screens (or use the default one) and you can then add ANY widget you want. Music, news feed, ANY WIDGET!
