Is it possible to have smoother on miui rom, i love it all other way but i hate that places like settings menu its not so smooth... so you know what i want
The scrolling that's laggy in settings is a problem in all miui roms for all phones near enough, my gf's sgsii has it on and it still lags a little on that :O
MIUI 4 will be as smooth as her ass!

It's almost impossible. I saw a thread about porting sense to a Galaxy S, but nearly all the things can't function properly.

No but there's a a lot of modes that will make your device like HTC Sense .
Like the ring lockscreen , launchers sense themes etc ...
Ok kushdi thanks guys

Why would you want sense anyways? Its pretty ugly in my opinion and every device I have seen running it wasnt smooth at all.. Nothing compared to adw Ex.
I always found the app tray in adw to be really really laggy dude

I really like the zoom in animation when openjng apps in GB/CM7. I have a nexus s with ics on it and would like those animations back. I did it on my old vibrant running 4.0.4 but can find how to do it now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Whats the big difference between the stock launcher and nova launcher that comes with aokp ms6. Been using the stock launcher and was nervous about loosing all my screens by switching to nova.
So whats the pros/cons and which do u prefer ???

IMHO.....Nova is far better.....
more customization options.....and tbh, its just a lot easier to use.

I m fully disappointed from Samsung galaxy s3 because it's not smooth as I want,
I was happy on stock ics.. it's animations was very smooth like transition, opening..
I always install firmware via Odin with by wiping data and settings..
I feels like sticking smoothness in animation..gallery is also not smooth...
I like smoothness than quick response...

Install nova launcher, you can switch to ics animation via nova settings / look & feel / app animation / icecream sandwich.

Actually I like stock look...

You can use nova with touchwhiz theme, that runs very smooth and you have the stock look too.

I'm sorry, but these suggestion threads just go downhill. You will have to try them out and see.
Has anyone used this launcher? I read about it on Engadget. Seems cool. Better IMO than the PIE style launcher except that there really aren't homescreens and widgets/icons.

It does need some polishing and fine tuning. But its a very interesting concept for a launcher !

I read that on Engadget too and am using it now. Looks like a nice design. Should be a lot better once all the links in the menus work. Many of them seem to not do anything, like the email link.

This launcher has great potentially. Theme and widget support can make it complete android launcher . Hope in next update .

Splay, right, is that despite looking nice and futuristic, it’s really, incredibly, unbelievably intuitive. Sure, I love big.
