Hey,
I have a question about creating an app for my gaming community's website. Our webpage already has a chat box, but I am wanting to make an app to share with them where they can chat through the app. Not just an app that sends them to the webpage, but an easier to use interface and such.
Is this possible and what do I need to do it?

I am writing my first app and want to know if I can have my app check a specific WordPress database and display the latest message from a particular message category. And if so, is there suggestions as to how many times it should query while the app is running?
My reason is to be able to post a very short message with the WordPress admin page that will show up only for users of my android app. I don't want their phone to chime a notification when they aren't using my app (that would be annoying I think)...I want anyone who has my app open to get messages I post via WordPress in a relatively quick timeframe.
Suggestions and guidance greatly appreciated.
Hi Everyone,
I developed an app called Celatum to store and communicate via secure notes. It allows you to add trusted contacts and also send them messages as encrypted notes.
Feedbacks and reviews and reviews are welcome. The app is available on Google Play.
I had posted an earlier review/feedback request but somehoe it did not go through.
Best,
Hari
Keep up the good work
I wish you all the best

I looked for your app but couldn't find it, maybe it's not available in my country (Dominican Republic). If it's ever made available, I'd be happy to review it. Best of luck!
Hello,
I am trying to build an android application that included a live video chat function. Users will log in, select the person they want to chat with and connect. Then once the call has finished they will be requested to complete a form providing feedback.
This is just one function of the app so I am worried about using these sites that provide the service of video chat as I would need to be able to incorporate it in to the app as appose to that being the only function of the app. In many ways the app will function a lot like skype in that all users will have a profile. But I would like the option of having ‘1 to many’ calls not just ‘1 to 1’.
I am a complete novice. Please could you advise me how I would go about creating this? What software to use to build my app (preferably free) what server system I would need to use etc.
I do hope you can help.
Dear XDA Guys,
I need you guys support to create web browser app that only opens single website. For that i am planning to modify existing open source android web browser to display single site. So i can upload them to google play store as my personal app for my site.
I hope this thing already existing. Please suggest your ideas.
Hello Everyone, this is my first post here
So ive been using the modded version of FB in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-facebookmod-material-design-layout-t2982613
and i have to say its really impressive, I enjoy using it, I also enjoy the Messenger Mod V2 (integrating Messenger within the app)
but I have an idea (or a request/suggestion lol), since this messenger mod is redirecting to messages tab in FB mobile website, is it possible for the mod to redirect to https://www.messenger.com/ and modify the resolution so it fits mobile screens. I know this is a PC website only (you will not get the log in prompt if you visit on mobile), but I was thinking if we can trick the website to think its PC, modify the resolution and integrate it within FB app, because Messenger website has more features than the mobile messenger page. I know its a long shot but like I said, its just a suggestion
