This probably isn't the best place for this and I'm not trying to steel your thread but what is this blue fix I've been reading about?

there's 3 for jvp i think, 1.2, 1.4 and 1.5
some jvp 1's will work from i9000 forums but they'll mess up button mapping
i am currently on phiremod's fusion v1 2.3.5 rom

Save yourself some headache and use the source, not some knockoff. CM7 is what you should really be using.

I keep wanting to switch from Liberty GB to CM7 for DX but everytime I look at reviews it says camera/camcorder don't work, youtube don't work, & GPS maybe.. That review was from June 17th.. Anybody got a up to date review on that ROM..

Nothing wrong with "plain CM7", but Birgertime's version is hardly a knockoff. If it weren't for him, we'd still be using mute/unmute on calls in CM7 and GPS would still not work. Many of his fixes have been rolled back into the official CM7 for Vibrant.

check cyanognemod.com forums for the device, and see what people are saying about it.
however, since you posted this in the vibrant themes and apps section your chances of getting an answer go down... significantly
if you really want to you can go through the change log http://cm-nightlies.appspot.com/?device=cdma_shadow
or go through all of the cdma_shadow commits on gerrit http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#q,st...yanogenMod/android_device_motorola_shadow,n,z

actually the gps fix was done by karl hegbloom, Roman pulled the commit and put it into his build after Atin passed on it (there is more to the story and some more tweaking was done by all parties)
but here is the link for gapps

No intention of knocking any of the other Dev's here at all. In most cases that "I've" seen, ROMS built off of CM7 which already has issues of its own, tend to have more issues than not. I haven't tried any other GB ROM other than CM7 so I don't have any experience with them. I do know CM7 has worked perfectly for me so far, and I do know most of the problems encountered are from the end users.
Cheers
EDIT: Is phiremod even Birgertime's ROM? It's also built off of CM7 #74.

I was hoping someone could post a guide on how to fix the blue sleep bug for noobs like me . I'm getting high battery drain on my phone idle sometimes so I think this might be the problem. I read how to do it but it's a little complicated ...I also think this problem may affect cm9 beta?
Thanks in advance. Running neutrino if that matters

I think the latest CM9(either Joker's or Turl's) both already got fix included in their ROM..
But he's running Neutrino which is CM7 I believe.
If you are talking about the BT battery drain issue, search the Neutrino thread. There are some files which you can copy to your phone which fix the problem.
Hey guys,
i've installed the leaked Icecream Sandwich version from T-Mobile and everything works perfectly!
I can also underclock my phone with SetCPU, but i don't know how to undervolt it. I couldn't find any "mpu_opps" or /proc/overclock/ folder.
Can anyone please tell me if it's possible and if so, how ?
Have a nice day!
PS: I had to post it here, because i'm rather new in this forum.
It IS possible - thing is, I haven't seen anyone really be experimenting with it too much, even on CDMA. So you'll be poking around in the dark if you get it working..
Scroll down the general more and you will find a thread "post your under clock over clock undervolting results here" something like that. Some other people and I have been sharing our undervolt experience there. But im running eclipse, not an ics leak

I did look at that general thread, but the problem is that the folder they used doesn't exist in my system. /proc/overclock/ is not there... and i'm unable to find the file they changed, too. Hopefully someone can help me with that. 'D be so great!

Flash the overclock zip found in the main thread for over clocking I believe in the development section

I did, but the folder still doesn't exist, so undervolting doesn't work. Every script i found takes use of that folder though.

I originally posted this on jokersax's forum, since that's as close to the problem as I can, but hasn't been any luck there.
http://forum.jokersax.com/discussion/45/photon-1-3-kernels
Does anyone have live links to both the cm7 and blur kernels posted here?
http://www.jokersax.com/developer-pages/jokersax/motorola-photon-kernels/
XDA pointed me here, it seems that these links have been dead for quite a while.
I'm stock rooted, unlocked, I just flashed oleg's blur OC, but wifi is broke on it, which is a deal breaker.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24875355&postcount=59
So right now I'm looking for a oc/uv kernel with a working wifi stack

Also playing around with oleg's kernel I noticed that my rear LED Torch/Flash is not working either. Which is also a rather huge deal breaker.
I'm trying my damnedest not to flash another ROM, I'm just trying to eke as much power out of my phones as I can without things breaking on it.
Have you tried this thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362140 My understanding is that a few of those don't have the wifi modules working but some do.
