I've just installed the MIUY4 custom rom on my Galaxy Ace.
It's really great, only thing is I can't get it figured out with the 'zhijun_theme2.zip' file.
I've put this zip file as instructed on the sd-card in the qqlauncher/themes folder. But what do i have to do next? Or do i have to unzip it first?
Thanks
U need go to THEME MANAGER!!And then install the theme by clicking apply on it!
Already did that, but only gives me one theme: the default theme

just rename it to theme instead of themes..
After you install the rom you need the miui theme.
Install it manually by putting it in QQLauncher\Theme

What's the difference between the Settings.apx and the SemcSettings.apx files that have been uploaded?
Roland
These are two different files. SemcSettings.apk has first icon i settings menu "Sony Ericsson" , Settings.apk has rest.
269 icons in the zip file ? But we can see 13 icons in "setting ".

no metamorph you go to the website, create a theme to your liking, upload the framework-res.apk from what ever rom your using and the online kitchen spits out what ever you choose into a update.zip that you restore through Open Recovery apply update.
cool one ..thx alot..
Currently making a rom and would like to change the default theme to another theme. Any ideas?

Wrong answer...
You could be right, but no...
That are not the default themes...
I think you should drag and drop the files from your theme into the framework file and compile and sign. That should do it.
Or do you mean a theme enabled by default but not default theme?
Greets!

Try wipe cache and dalvik, and sign correctly. I admit that it is strange.
Greets!
Edit: did you sign, compile?

Hi,
check for what exactly ?
there is nothing special .. as I said .. if I flash the ROM and the theme separately then every thing is ok ...
all I did was replace the files in the zip..and then I get stucj at bootanimation.
I didn't sign or compile...
I have a theory : the SystemUI has a battery percentage and the apk has new files in it... could it be the problem ?

First: to clarify;
you have a couple APKs for your Tab.
You place them in a flashable zip, flash, bootblock
you have a ROM for your Tab,
you grab the .zip, and replace the theme APKs, flash, and it works?
THat is really strange...
Hi,
thanks for answering me mDroidd ...
I found the problem.. it is the SystemUI.apk
I copied all the theme files to my ROM zip except that file and the device boot ok.
why does this file need to be flashed in a separate zip ?
is there another way ?

Thanks but you need to correct that. Themes should be made using create theme not create backup. Otherwise hardware key mappings etc will also be changed. Therefore they would be found in alliance/themer not alliance/backup
Also...it wont just be v7. Themes are useable on any alliance lollipop version including other devices

on the 7.1 release of alliance it has what appears to be a V for vendetta them with a name of alliance. I was wondering how it's possible to get that them onto my s5 G900V with 4.4.2. I would assume i just need the zip file and drop it in my phone and load it with the alliance theme manager. Thanks for your time
