I noticed in all the roms they still have the circles around the shortcuts on the lockscreen is there a way to remove them or is this not possible in Sense 3.5 ? I coming from an EVO 3d and all the roms there had them removed but then again that was Sense 3.0. thanks
There's plenty of Senseless ROMs that do not have the circle lockscreen and there's a desense tool you can use for Sense ROMs.
It's all in the development forum.
I like Sense Roms but just wondering if devs were able to remove the bubbles behind the shortcuts on the lock screen.

The problem is that right now the tools we need to edit m10 files(pretty much a file that contains images) doesn't work for sense 3.5 and up. But when we get new tools it can be done
Sounds good thanks

is there any way to get SKINS like as an APK working if they were designed for sense 3.5?
+1 for this!
Go look in the Android themes forum or maybe the Sensation themes forum. The Sensation has ports of 3.5. They may or may not show up in the skin picker however. Just look for threads marked Sense 3.5

What ever happened to the more minimalist bottom controls? The one that removed the personalize button and just had 2 icons (one in each bottom corner) for phone and apps.
That is all i want... a simple theme with that setup.

That's an entirely different Rosie. It was made specially for the HTC Rhyme's Sense 3.5

Not what I wanted to hear...
dont worry im sure as soon as we get S-off a dev will port that version of sense
Do not know if its possible, I would love a black face/white number clock widget. I know there are some out there for sense 3.5, are any available for 3.5?

Not until we get S-Off

How can you rebuild fusion.apk or any other sense apk? I didnt think m10 tools worked on sense 3.5 yet?
Is there something else that will help theming of sense 3.5?
You can replace the m10 file of a Sense3.5 theme and replace it with a m10 file from a sense 3.0 theme and it will work. Only thing that won't get skinned is the Rosie launcher. I've done this and has worked on my Sensation.

That won't work on the Rezound. I've been at it all day and that method only works on Sensation and EVO 3D. Trust me guys, Fusion.apk which leads to Clock MODS, Lock Ring, Rosie Home/Rosie Lock CANNOT be themed right now until Diamondback releases the tool for it. For those who haven't a clue who Diamondback is or Flemmard, and HAVEN'T donated yet, I strongly recommend giving them thanks or spare a small donation to these guys. We wouldn't be able to theme any HTC Fusion.apk's without their work.
Here's where it all started:

He's out, but still is there behind the scenes once Diamondback finds another reverse engineer.
@raiderman I'm sure your best bet for now is too use beautiful widgets. If your not already.

There was a widget on the market meant for sense 3.0. It was an exact duplicate of the original except the inverted colors, and a slightly lighter background. I will search for it, its sweet!

I know it will take time to develop but I'm looking forward to seeing a TRUE ICS themed rom. Basically aesthetically all stock ICS including settings menu but with the ability to use Sense widgets on the home screen and keeping other benefits such as quick settings etc.

You can install the status bar/settings.apk for AOSP ICS to run on Sense roms. If you want the AOSP lockscreen, just delete Htclockscreen.apk. I've installed the ICS MMS.apk as well.
Have you tried Scott's Senseless 3.6?
I am still able to put widgets on my home screen.

Installing the statusbar/settings.apk DOES NOT REMOVE SENSE.
Long press your home screen, and the HTC widget/personalization menu pops up, allowing you to place HTC WIDGETS still.
I've chosen to delete the Settings.apk out of the .zip and I only have the status bar looking like AOSP ICS. The only caveat I've found, is that when connected to 4g WiMax, the 3G icon goes away, but no 4g icon appears. I'm looking into that ATM.

Would any dev or anybody that has messed with sense 4.0 direct me how to resize and center the tabs in the recent apps drawer, I am currently running Newts One S RLS1 and the app drawer tabs are off the right. I have no idea of what I'm doing but I would also like to place the icons under the tabs like in the PKMN Rom and I believe chubbz Sense Rom as well. I am a noob and I would be so grateful for someone to at least tell me which files I am looking for (and I will try to figure out how to edit or change them on my own) any help would be appreciated

Nevermind, I have to decompile and recompile and I barely even know what those words mean atm. I have a lot of researching and reading to do to get an understanding of what I am up against and what I have to do. Wish me luck

I was wandering if there is a way to make a hybrid rom or if a dev would be willing to try to make one. I'm just suggesting because I like sense 5 but I do miss the sense 4+ widgets they removed and the carousel home screen transitions. Also being able to move your home screens around to a different spot. Everything else I like is from sense 5. If maybe someone could port those over or make a sense 4+/5 hybrid. Just a suggestion.

given the massive changes to sense, it would be a lot of work to try and integrate sense5 features into a stock rom or vice versa
given the dependency changes as well (fusion, assets, rosie/prism, etc) you would be asking for issues
not to say its impossible...but i dont see the amount of time needed and the probability of it not even panning out really being worth a dev's time....then again, some people seem to have 100 hours a week to work on stuff, so who knows
Unless you wanted to pay a lot for a developer to do this, it's doubtful. You could always download both versions and make your own hybrid. Granted this would be simple things such as icons and such (already available to download on Viper DNA) , unless you know how to code.

The one Sense 4+ widget I don't miss is FriendStream. I know some don't like the fact that it isn't removable from the homescreen, but BlinkFeed beats FriendStream by a country mile.
I love blinkfeed.

Blinkfeed is great if your into the whole "social" thing but what if your not? Sense 4 for me right now is were I'm at. Maybe Sense 5.1 will bring back some of the widgets I want. Also blinkfeed would be better if it had like emails and messages like windows phone. Its really just a fancy RSS reader.

I have a Sense 4+/5 hybrid that I created for the HTC One S, you can try to port if you want. Its on tweakedandroid.com, its called ButterBean.

thats not a hybrid rom...thats a sense 4+ rom that has sense5 icons/images/fonts etc
a true *hybrid* would mix the frameworks/apks/widgets and so on...not just mimic the look
i remember the days of the hybrid sense 2/3 roms on the OG Inc...good times.
That ROM would probably take up a lot of system space since they call on different system commands..
I like this idea a lot, although i think the amount of work makes it not really worth the time someone would have to spend on it. There are some things I miss about sense 5. For example, why did they remove all the customizability? No skins? I feel like they're kind of pulling an apple on us. Regardless, I love sense 5. I keep switching back and forth though because I do miss 4+ sometimes.
