i have a big problem with an xperia ray! i try to unlock bootloader and overclocking it as i do with my arc s and after i disconnect usb and try to open the ray nothing happened just a black screen! what to do? how to restore it or make it work! thanks!
How do you unlock? There's thread from jobibear who has similar problem and has the solution. Please check there.

i just use command list and had the phone to fast boot! i dont know a lot i just follow the same instructions as i do with my arc s but my arc works perfect and ray show nothing when opens not even SE sing or anything! only a black screen! please give a likn to the other thread to check it out!

You used the arc guide just flash another ray kernel one from the ray section recommand the team 4pda.ru one if is not working use the fotabrick guide for the arc i cannot give links i'm from phone let me know if it works

i found the solution to make xperia ray works again! i just use flashtool and everything came back! no problems or errors! thanks for your try to help me!

hey dude,
I just googled it and found another download link uploaded by someone.See the attached image.You could give it a try.
Though FXP doesn't want us to mirror,people from some area(eg U.S.) seem to be unable to download through Uploaded.

I've got your PM,bro.
Here is the tutorial to flash ftf,you'll find my question and akshay13071990's reply.
1)download flashtool and install it.
2)place this "ftf" file you downloaded into "firmware" folder.
3)use flashtool and select "flashmode" by clicking flash(lightning mark),select the firmware/ftf(baseband 64) and click OK button.
4)turn off your XMP and press volume "down",connect the USB cable with XMP & PC.
then the flashtool will do the rest.
Note:before flashing,you have to check your phone
1)in MSC mode (not MTP)：SE->connection
2)allow unknown sources：applications
3)activate USB debug：applications->development
As for the improvement,I just don't feel much about it.
PS.this won't unlock your bootloader and you don't have to.

Hello serialkillazzs, in Arc forum there is a link with BB -36 and -64. If I don´t be wrong they are compatibles, but I beg you that ask other person more knowledgeable than me
Maybe the autor (iridaki) of the post is the best person to ask.

CO says it's located at flashtool.net. And there's no specific SXU flashtool - it works with almost all Xperias.
