Could you please help me with rooting my Xperia mini Pro SK17i which I upgraded to ICS 4.1.B.0.431 using PCC, have searched the forum for the same was not able to find any link or may have missed "please excuse me if I was not able to search" could you share me the link or provide the procedure to update.

There is a lot of topics with answer on Your question so please do not spam forum.
You also posted in wrong subforum...
You will not lose the root if u update via air on software update app .. If u want to update it via SUS or pc companion u will lose the root ... And plz post this sort of threads on original section ...

If you rooted your .431, you don't need downgrade to gb, run step III from your rooted 431 and follow instruction ( in step 4 flash 587 ftf instead 431, you can fimd ,587 ftf for your phone in this forum) and ( recommend to use flashtool to flash your 587 rom ft f)

please look in development thread of xperia mini pro.......Every upgrade available is provided there with proper tools and tutorials.
Prefer using nAa ROM for GB, very stable.

Hi,
I have unlocked my bootloader and installed this Kernel U20_nAa-jb-03_2.6.29.6-nAa-jb-03 with this update MiniCM10-4.0.2-mimmi and with these gpapps gapps-jb-nAa-20121119-signed. But after the successfull installation my simcard not recognized and cannot enter in mobile telephone network.
When I am relocking the bootloader with s1tool my U20i is dead and I must install the original firmware again.
What happened with bootloader and my SimCard and not recognized?

Also I am needing the correct kernel version and bypass the bootloader which blocks me my telephony network and doesnt recognized my Sim card

I have successull installed the Kernel 2.6.29..6-nAa 12 / Hydra #1 and MiniCM7-2.2.1-mimmi. I was used the SEtool2 and SEMCBoot to lock and unlock the bootloader.

CO says it's located at flashtool.net. And there's no specific SXU flashtool - it works with almost all Xperias.
