After update to .13 what is max overclock ferquency????
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201
I believe it is still 1.6 ghz quadcore. Try using ATP tweak app or Vipermod. Those worked on the old firmwares so they should still be compatible. What are you doing, benchmarking? Is four cores at 1.3 ghz not enough?

Ok so the Droid X and the Droid 2 are now both overclocked to 3ghz from what I heard, so im wondering when we can get our vibrants passed 1.2?

it is not physically possible to overclock the droid to 3ghz lol. More like 1.3 ghz, which as somebody else already pointed out, we already have.
they faked that they had it clocked to 2ghz....but it was faked, to 2, not 3....

Did anyone else notice that the processor speed is now saying 1.6 ghz? Did the ICS update increase the default clock speed? Speeds checked in setcpu and smart bench.

Several threads on this already actually
Yes others have noticed what you are referring to, no your TFP is not clocked at 1.6 now.
I'm pretty sure the maximum clock speed is set at 1.6GHz only but it's currently clock speed is only at 1.3GHz.

It only reaches 1.6ghz while browsing the Asus website.
I must be missing it, what do you use to monitor the processor speed?

Damn you Asus. I knew they would add a great new feature only to limit it some way. Lol.

There are plenty of apps in the market for this.
Sorry if there were other threads, the search function on the android app sucks. I looked at the first 40 or so posts in Q&A and General before posting and didn't see anything.

We wontbe able to know till we get there. No where to tell but It has a great possibility of being pretty stable. Yes tegra3 does really have 5 cores. 4 cores n 1 companion core. The companion core is what helps gives us great battery life.
I read on one web site that will be tegra3 used in the automotive industry! I cant wait to see tegra4 with 8cores and Cortex-A15 chip

They knocked those speeds out of the new kernel most probably. Even more interesting is that my stock tf use the 1.4ghz on jb. I think only in performance mode

I cant even open EZoverclock on my TFP, it just reboots. Same with ATP Tweaks, every time I try to enable SIO it reboots.
In CPU Spy, 1.5 and 1.6 Ghz modes are no longer visible.
Because we have a new kernel, those apps don't work...
Yeah we got our speed jacked, sucks. Kind of hoping they release an update that has the 1.5 Ghz and 1.6 Ghz speed steppings back so we can OC using something like EZOverclock again. It was nice to have that little extra juice when needed.
Please dont use any more any MOD for prime ICS like build.prop,ezoverclock,ATP_Tweak!! I was open atp tweak and chose sio...after that i brick my prime! I have all time reboot! I needed to go recovery mpd and wipe all Grrrrr..any good think is my ROOT is still here! Asus sucks with new kernel 1.4GHz

If you have problems with reboot loop because of enabling overclock and you have rootkeeper installed then quickly start rootkeeper when the tablet boots and choose unroot and then you can uninstall the overclock. Worked for me

Way we after JB cant OVERCLOCKING? we now stuck at 1.4GHz :crying:
Asus most likely removed the 1.5GHz and 1.6GHz from the kernel since those frequencies aren't used on a stock unrooted Prime.
