Hi, I just purchased a new dell venue from USA to europe and when it arrived I found a problem with it! the rigth speaker doesnt work!
Any solutions? maybe a software update because it has 2.2android?
It's not a speaker, it's the mic
are you sure it is the mic because there are two spreker holes with net on the dell venue and when I close the left hole there is no music coming from the right speaker
any solutions?
I'm sure.
If you really want a confirmation, ask the nearest iphone 4.
sound on the jack is really low
Speaker on the left and Micro on the right .....It's the design of DELL VENUE

Hi all,
I though there's something wrong with my Venue, but checked others there're same problem. Venue has 2 speakers but only the left one works.
Is there any idea about your Venue's speaker
The one on the left side is the speaker with the phone facing you and the mic is the one on the right side when the phone is facing you from what I have read.

I was pretty worried at first too. However, when I met a person from Dell he explained that 1 was for the Mic and 1 was a speaker.
It is the same for the Iphone 4 too.
Thanks for all information

I dropped my mini into a puddle of water that led in a burn tft screen. I found a replacement at ebay and changed it. When I did i noticed that the loudspeaker also isn't working. The earphones work I can hear from them i hear when I make phone calls but no sound of ringtone or music from the loudspeaker. Is it really burned or i miss connected it when i replaced the screen. Can someone post some pics on how should it be connected and if its toasted can you point a site to order a new one since I found nothing on ebay. ty and be careful of water! Have a nice holiday!
I recently replaced my screen and now when i plug in my headphones the music only plays through the right speaker. Anybody know why this is happening??
Have you try with other earphone? Maybe the earphone is broken..
Yea i've tried different headphones, the left speaker is always out, if I pull the jack out a little the left side will work but the the right stops so im assuming its some sort of hardware issue but I dont know where to look

You'll have to take the Streak apart and check the jack. It's likely the solder connecting the jack to the board is broken. Either that or the contacts aren't making contact by being bent.
Yea I was inspecting that piece but couldnt tell if anything was defective about it, I think i'll just order another one of that part since thats probably the problem, thanks for your help

Hi all!
I opened my SGS2 and changed new USB charger port + mic to it.
now i have problem wiht my voice call mic, it doesnt hear me.
This part i changed to new one..
Click*CLick*
voice call's works fine with speaker.
original part was: R.B43
gt-i9100 REV2.2
new part was: R.B 5.3???
gt-i9100 REV2.2
i think part is working but software doesnt detect mic...
What should i do now?
is it posible use "mic 2" the upper one.. to voice calls?
Speakerphone uses the upper mic, not the lower; that's why speakerphone works.
Either the flex cable is not attached properly, or the rubber housing over the microphone isn't seated properly, and could be blocking sound from getting to the mic.
It says its seller refurbished. It could be faulty...I dont buy stuff from Hong Kong

Hello you guys so my beautiful droid DNA was badly handled and it just so happened that my back speaker (the one beneath the beats logo) stopped working! So I ordered a part on eBay and it happened to be JUST the speaker , and if you've tried to replace the speaker before you could see that the speaker is connected to a lot of other things , and I was wondering if anyone knew how to take apart where the speaker was to replace it? All help is appreciated.
