Unroot for repairs? - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Hi,
I currently want to root and install CM7 on a Galaxy Ace... However, this Ace is just recently bought and still under warranty. Is there a way to install back the stock rom + unroot?
edit: I see that there's a way to unroot, but what about the stock rom? Do I do a nandroid backup? What about custom recovery back to the stock recoveries?
I haven't actually flashed any phones back yet.. so I don't know.. and this is not for me either.
Thanks

yes odin

Using clockworksmod recovery to return back to stock rom?

If I create a full backup from the recovery menu, and then install cyanogen, will I be able to return back to the stock rom using the backup?

I would recomend getting hold of a stock rom for your phone and flashing through Odin
Where can I get the samsung galaxy s2 2.3.3 official stock rom?
quick question: does flashing roms remove all the installed apps?

You can get all firmwares from here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
And yes you will loose all your installed apps
Thanks... Does these firmwires include apps from samsung?

Yes when you apply the original firmware the phone goes back to the way it was when you first bought it with all Samsung apps.
Thanks alot, am downloading the stock JPKG5 firmwire and kernal now.
One last question, what is the purpose of creating a backup from the recovery menu?

I personally use it to back up custom roms i like so when i try new ones that get released and i have problems with them i can always go back to the last rom i used which was stable
Ok, can't it be used to restore the stock rom back from cyanogen?

Its to backup a rom as simple as that .
original rom no cannot back that up as it does not have cwm recovery .
You can restore a good working rom in a very short time instead of a clean install .
Its rom settings and apps at the point of backup .

My screen cracked :(

It got into a accident and my screen has a straight tear through it, now i was gonna take it to the t-mobile place to see if it can get repaired but the only problem is that it is rooted and running a custom rom. Would they accept it or not?
They would but it won't be covered by waranty. Try flashin stock through odin first.
Galaxy ace X Miracle V2.
Just flash a stock rom and backup your current.. but don't reflash cwm until you get it back. T-Mobile will be none the wiser . I took my phone to them when I didn't read xda and used rom manager

[Q] How to revert Galaxy Player back to stock rom.

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 and I have ICS Crumble ROM on it and it is acting up, so I wanted to know how to revert back to stock rom or any better roms to use if i cant go back to stock rom. Thank You!
If you have clockworkmod recovery or something like that (Odin3 can be used for flashing too) you can use this stock ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574207) to revert back to your first official ROM.
Or you can try reverting it via Kies, Samsungs software for her galaxy devices. Just connect and click (somewhere in the menu's) an option that's sounds like fabric reset. It will download the latest stock ROM for your device.
And, of course, don't forget to make a backup of at least your internal SD-card. Just in case....
Good luck!

Revert back to Stock ICS

Hi,
As the ICS is now available in India I wanted to know if I could install the stock ICS for my S29100 using KIES..
I already had flashed a custom ICS but wanted to install the stock ICS so I do not have any warranty issue also
will is it really safe to use triangle away, I already read about it in this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114
but is it really safe?
Yes, you should be safe if you have read it properly and understood what to do. However make a backup all the same.

yes u can go back to any stock rom of any country
I confirm that it is safe, I already use before. But you can flash stock ROM via Odin, this way is faster than Kies.
